I never understood the appeal of wrestling. sweatdrop I don't follow any sports at all, honestly. But wrestling, boxing, and MMA are the least appealing to me, personally(I think it's the physical contact and naked violence between two people). To each their own though! If they had competitive knitting, I might watch that. Lol I also watch some videos of people playing WoW.

A Name of Power I never understood the appeal of wrestling. sweatdrop I don't follow any sports at all, honestly. But wrestling, boxing, and MMA are the least appealing to me, personally. To each their own though! If they had competitive knitting, I might watch that. Lol I also watch some videos of people playing WoW. Wrestling I suppose is like the tamed version of ancient Rome's Gladitorial games. Man has for the longest time liked to watch two men clash against one another. Personally for me, sports are best when played, like football. I use to play as a lineman and let me tell you when you're there on the line as the play is about to start, time slows. You feel everything around you, the power in your body as it tenses up, waiting to be released. Then in a split second everything happens, there is no time for thought, just reaction, releasing that energy you've built up......oh yeah, sports are best played.

I think maybe I empathise too much. sweatdrop I wouldn't want to do it and am therefore uncomfortable watching others do it. crying But again, I know a ton of people LOVE it! Some great people have come from WWE. 3nodding My favorite part of any sport is the music, used to do pep band back in the day. wink

I watch nine hours a week for wrestling, then I also get all the PPV'S I have been a wrestling fan since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I agree some of the story lines are dumb as hell but there are also some really great performers who bust their asses and do a lot for charities. I have heard wrestling is fake my whole life, used to piss me off. Now I have a much deeper understanding and after learning what goes on behind the scenes I learned not to let the haters get to me. These guys and gals work their asses off and a lot of them get hurt really bad, really young. It's sad and quite tragic. Broken necks happen a lot.

Wow!! eek You should start a blog for wrestling if you haven't already! (besides, dudes love it when a lady is blogging about sports!) Not many people have the stamina to watch that much of a single thing in a week, imho.
