Well, who buys Kobe beef to begin with? o-o. Seriously. I dont care if they get sake massages D< (I know it's not true, shh)
But, DAMN, that IS expensive O-o. Here it's like ~6$ the pound for beef o-o and Serend thinks that it's expensive.
What is Yakiniku? :O

It's usually only for very important occasions, and stupidly rich foreigners who want to get a taste of "real" Japanese cuisine, though most people only get to eat Kobe beef once in their lifetimes, if they're willing to pay a hundred bucks for a piece or two in a restaurant.
I never paid attention to what food prices were in the States.
Yakiniku is literally 'grilled meat'. It's thin slices of meat, usually beef and chicken, that you grill while you eat. It's good, though one person usually ends up cooking more than he eats. 9w9

Ohhhhhhh, I think I know what it is! Not that I've ever ate it. I need more variety to my meal D< I always endup cooking the same 6 or so meal on rotation due to laziness/convenience.

Yakiniku is easy and good, so is curry rice. But I'm in the same boat, I buy the same things just because it's easy and I know I like them.

Convenience and easiness will be the death of us.

Indeed.
Speaking of convenience and ease, I'm going to run to the convenience store to pay my health insurance bills. I'm behind. ;____;

I knoww, I'm such a terrible person. But it's like taking my allergy medicine -- unless I'm actively dying from it, I don't remember that I need it.
Hopefully they won't look at me oddly when I hand them four bills. o____o

Usually they don't really care that much, they don't pester. I'll be paying January, March, July, and August today. They haven't really said a thing.
(I did get a letter from them saying to come down to the ward office, but it looks like I just need to resubscribe to my health insurance. Usually you do it in April, but I was in California. And they didn't send me any bills for November or beyond, so.)

The idea of having to pay for your health is such an alien concept to my Canadianess.
Talking about Canada D< Our best Politician died today D< He would have been the next version of Canada's J.F.Kennedy D< Seriously, he brought a small no name party to be the 2nd biggest in canada in less than 10 years and only lost to become the Prime Minister by like 3% in the last elections. This sucks sad

Normally, people under 20 don't need to pay for health insurance. I, however, am a foreigner, so I don't count. Dx
Ugh, that was such a blow to my bank account... I'm going to have to scrimp from now on. It's going to be a miracle if I can pay for my books with what I have. ;_____;
I heard! D= I'm very sorry, Lone.

I'll probably just sell my old books. I was hoping to keep my human sexuality textbook to use to punish and traumatize my future children, but it's not doing me much good now. It's not exactly a book you can peruse for fun.
