I'm okay. There was another cockroach in my kitchen last night, but I didn't feel like dealing with it, so I barricaded myself in my room so it couldn't slip in under the door, but then it was a pain to unbarricade to get out this morning. D<
And I'm going to my friend's house for dinner, but that's not until later, so you guys probably won't notice a difference.

OH YAY. VALIDATION.
No. D< Meat is expensive here, especially since we have radioactive cows running around the place, so I have to pay for my share.
And Fantasy wants me to distract you, Lone, so... yeah! [/bad at things]

Are the cow really radioactive or was it just an exaggeration? o-o And how expensive is expensive? Like, for a normal regular steak, how would you pay?

I don't know, I don't watch the news, so I only get snippets of reports on Twitter, but they've found Cesium and stuff in various vegetables, and some of the cattle, so people are freaking out over what they buy. People are paying tons of money to buy rice that was harvested before March, though I don't really care. o____o We're all going to be exposed at some point, might as well pay a discount.
And it depends where the meat is from and how much of it you buy. A pound of Australian beef costs about $18 a pound, $15 for American beef, $89 for a pound of Japanese beef (the cheap stuff), $296 for a pound of the higher quality Japanese beef, and about $1800 for a pound of Kobe beef.
Obviously, you wouldn't buy a pound of beef for yakiniku, since they have special, smaller cuts for cooking, but there'll be seven of us, so buying enough to feed us all will be pretty pricey for one person to pay.
