Neko loked at the two vampires. She smiled slightly without wirth. The one who had hugged the other had the smell that made her seenze, though it was far les now. Meph probably knew though.
She sat back and watched them.

He heard his name, in an instant, his heightened senses had picked it up, and his concentration was now on the sounds around him. His face lit up, and he smiled. One of the voices was Rikku’s, that was certain. But the other, the other voice stirred some memories, yes. For a brief moment he thought he had fallen asleep and was now dreaming, but he could still feel the raindrops across his face. He opens his eyes, wipes the water from them, and sits up, listening with even more concentration. He slowly stands up, pushing his hair out of his face with his hand, and moves towards the edge of the building.

-She hugged herself gently as if she was cold.-
"I did. You had Rufus and everything was pretty much ok. I didn't feel like I belonged. And I was more than positive Kyrre would be fine without me. Even still though, I miss him more than I could ever say."
-She sighed lightly, then tried to smile again. Convincing herself everything would be okay.-
"Hmm, since I'm here though, maybe I could slip into my old habits and play your bodyguard.."
-She wrapped an arm around Rikku and winked playfully.-

*Laughs slightly*
"Are you sure? I seem to be New York's most wanted Vampire right now... Actually.. Kyrre and Velante are coming pretty close to second.. But I'll explain all that later.. Unless you wanna' know what's going on?"

-Another bout of familiarity, though she wrote it off as Rikku's presance and no one elses. Again she crossed her arms at the mention of Kyrre. She nodded though.-
"I'd very much like to know what's going on love. How else can I protect you?"

Glancing down the street, past the roads and the busy sidewalk, he spots Rikku in the distance. Someone else was with her, but his view was blocked. Attempting to stand on tip-toes, he still can’t see properly. He didn’t want to jump to conclusions, yet his heart was fluttering, he had a vague hope. He swiftly drops off the building, and takes long strides over towards the two, still trying to watch them through the crowd of people.

*Looks towards a bench out the other end of the alley, she slowly walks towards it while beginning to talk*
"Surely you must have heard of the Demon, murdered by a Lycanthrope? Well... It all started when Kyrre handed me an evelope. I was to carry out a task for him.."
*She sits on the bench as she gets to it, yawning slightly then she continues telling the story*
"I had to assassinate that Demon and make it look like a Lycan had done it. I stole a bullet from a drunk Lycanite and used it to kill the Demon. Eventually, the Demons caught on and found out it was me, how I am unsure at the moment. Just last week I was being held captive by one of the Demon Lords, he wanted to know who had instructed me to do what I did. Of course I didn't say anything, I wasn't going to drop them all right in it was I? Anyway.. Kyrre and Velante managed to take the Demon Lord out. And that's all so far."
*Remembering the burn she got from the magic binds, she places a hand on her cheek and rubs the red mark*

He weaves in and out of the traffic, almost causing a few accidents along the way, and rushes through the crowds; apologizing to people he bumped into. When he gets to the place on the sidewalk he had seen the two, they are nowhere to be found. Spinning around, looking for them, he starts to get anxious, his heart beating rather fast now. He glances down the nearby alleyway, assuming they’d gone that way, and begins to run down it.

"Oh hun...I wish I'd been here sooner."
-She gently tucked a few strands of Rikku's hair behind her ear. Her body becoming all the more stiff and uneasy. Something or someone had found them, was coming twords them. She felt the urge to run but stood her ground, she'd not leave Rikku's side any time soon.-
"I want to help you. Please tell me you'll let me."

He bursts into the clearing, clattering of the things he had knocked over along the way rung out from behind him, and stumbled to a halt. He looks up, and notices who the other voice was. Shocked, he pauses for a moment, then moves a little closer. "It's.. it's been a long time Miggy.." he says, and gives a weak smile.

He moves closer, still looking down at the floor. "I missed you.." he mutters, a tear trickling down his cheek. A moment passes, and he then moves forward, quickly, and embraces her. "I missed you.." he repeats, tears falling onto her shoulder as he holds her tightly.

-She sniffled lightly and faked a smile as she pulled away, moving a few strands of hair from his eyes.-

*Remains sat on the bench, smiling slightly. She then hears something.. Demons talking a while away. Talking about.. Wounding someone. She blinks and stands up, slowly walking in the direction of Central Park*
