Eh. I liked Season 2 a lot more than everyone else seemed to. It dragged, and it was really talky and full of plotholes since they had to cram 20 episodes of plot into 10 because of the Strike, but it was enjoyable enough. I liked Adam's character, anyways.
Season 1 was just fantastic, though. I need to give that a rewatch some time soon.
I loved Adam too, from his origins to how he was in in contemporary times, and was just another character I thought ended up being brushed aside in Season 3.
I think we might have a chance of a more Season 1 feel, since I swear I read somewhere that Kring had originally wanted the show to feature nothing but origin stories; once we heard of characters and the had their individual stories, we moved on to new characters, and there wasn't a constant effort to try to get everyone together for a massive ******** at the end. Then I'm guessing that idea was shut down/converted to the Heroes Origins spinoff that never happened, because to a network I guess not having a static cast isn't an easy thing to sell. (Even though I loved shows like that, like Tales from the Crypt, Amazing Stories, and Jim Henson's The Storyteller) I would love to see the show step away from the big convoluted "save the world" crap, and going back to just seeing how these special people live in our ordinary world.
I totally think the show would have been better if we weren't stuck following Peter, Hiro, Matt, and Claire every single step of the way. I hated how one episode would only focus on one group of characters, and then just when the story seemed to possibly be going somewhere, it'd switch over to a different set of people, usually to a unrelated plot.
