"Ah...It can be hard when such things fall apart. Unless there was no...connection." Amros raised an eyebrow, smiling.

"There was intially, but things just kind of fell apart", he admitted. McKenzie smiled to the man, "How's your tea and scone?", he asked.

"The 'honeymoon' ended?" Amros took another sip, and chuckled. "And they're perfect."

"Not for him, he found a woman, claimed to be in love." McKenzie shrugged, he wasn't telling the whole story. Truth was he put a spell on the man, but it wore off. McKenzie chuckled thinking on this, he felt foolish for believeing his spell could of done such a thing. Shrugging he returned his attention back to Amros. "I'm glad you're enjoying it", he said.

"And how is your coffee?" Armos tilted his head and didn't pursue the previous topic, taking another sip of tea.

"Fantastic really", he said with a nod. McKenzie finished off what he wanted of his muffin and leaned back in his chair some.

"So who did you come with to the Underground? Brothers or something?" Mckenzie asked curiously.

"Son and daughter." Armos smirked. "Oh, yes. I'm much older than I look. Ah, I miss wandering the streets in Rome in the time of the Caesars." He sighed, and took another sip of tea.

McKenzie raised a brow practically choking on his coffee. Fluttering his wings he cocked his head to the side, "You're kidding right? There's no way you're old enough to have children, never the less walked in Rome in the time of Caesars", he said rather sure of himself.

"It's not as if I'm...human." Armos laughed. "But I've learned to hide myself veeery well." He took another sip of tea, most amused.

"What's that make you then, immortal?", he asked curiously. McKenzie drank the last bit of his coffee down, listening intently to Armos.

"I suppose. I'm sort of like...Well, I suppose you would call it a demon. When I was younger, I would take the form of a female, and the Greeks called me a muse." He swirled his tea around in it's cup and laughed. "For all I know, I could be immortal...I certainly haven't died. And I'm certain the one that spawned me is still out there." He waved a hand in the air casually.

McKenzie sat back into his chair, rather amazed by the gentleman. Nodding he shrugged, he really didn't know what to say. Clearing his throat after a moment he tilted his head, "Don't you get bored then?", he began, "seeing everyone die, and change?", he asked curious to learn more from the man.

"You get used to it." Amros closed his eyes and sighed. For a moment he frowned, then shook his head and it was away. He opened his eyes and sat up a little straighter, taking another sip. "And if you don't, you retreat, and make your own world around you."
