Bakura forced himself to stop when he found that he couldn't breathe at all. Anything else offensive to Kira would result in the body suffocating, and he wasn't sure if he would be able to create a new body in the time Ryou had left.

Curled up in a ball at the base of a tree, Ryou was in the same place he had been in when Kira left. Every breath was shallow and shaky, and his heart fluttered feebly. He opened his eyes slightly when he saw Kira approaching. He said in a sleepy voice, but couldn't find the strength to speak out loud. While it was chilly outside, it was a fairly warm-ish winter day. A person wouldn't have been able to have such little control over their body from numbness, as it was in Ryou's case.

"ryou.." her hand touching the tree she gentley sat down.She gently pulled him into her lap her arms wraping around him to warm him.

Ryou's hand felt as though it weighed a hundred pounds, but he lifted it to stroke Kira's cheek with an astonishingly gentle touch, despite his numbness. Ryou's hand fell to his side heavily, concern lacing his voice, disregarding his own problems. Waves of pain washed over him, and his body trembled in his effort to just stay awake. To just stay alive.

Her jaw opened slightly before she scooped him up in herarms holding him close as she stood "..it will be ok ryou...i'll take youto the hospital...they'll stop whatevers happening to your body.."

Ryou writhed slightly in Kira's arms as he gritted his teeth against the pain. Ryou had to stop speaking, even in his mind, to contain himself. <--I've gathered that it gave me a burst of energy, and now it's taking its toll.>

Ryou's inner self looked worse off than his physical self. His soul room was little more than a bare room with what seemed to be deep gashed in the walls, and a bed. Ryou was on it, his eyes half-closed and almost see-through, it seemed. A trace of a smile lit his features when he saw Kira. He struggled to sit up, but he was just too weak. The whole area flickered weakly, as though it was a candle about to go out.

Kira rushed over and gentle schoops up ryou tearsgoing into her eyes "oh ryou.."

"I'm so sorry..." Ryou murmured, "About some of the things I must've put you through... That I couldn't save you some of the time... For all of that... But, Kira, I love you. I never would have thought, a year ago, that it would have been possible..." Tears swam in his already fuzzy vision as he struggled to stay conscious. If he fainted, it might be the last time he would have seen Kira. He had little doubt of that.
(Gaia wasn't working for me for a while. It shut down for you as well?)
