"Hm... the attached blades definately alter the guns use... with the aditionaly weight, it takes slightly more to hold it in place and aim right, not to mention, at least speaking for myself, if I am using a gun, I got no sense to have an attached item that doesn't enhance the gun, so much as drag it down." He bulled out his black box and from it took out his massive gun safe, which was even bigger then him. Opening it, he dug through all his guns, and came out with a customized Glock, and custom AK47, one in each hand.
The Glock had a silencer on it, along side a sniper scope on the top. That was all that could be seen on the outside for changes, but on the inside, it was also specially set up to attract lighting and water from storms, and store them inside the clip casing. His Glock was mainly used for elemental shots, but could be switched over to regular bullets.
The AK47 was his latest and best work, the barrel was trimmed down heavily, and various parts were slimmed down, making it a sort of heavy automatic pistol. he kept a barrel on it which held 500 rounds, and the clips themselves for it were able to hold around 100. Truely, this was a monster.

"Even so, there has to be some sort or predator that's evolved to limit the population of herbivores or this island would be a desolate field. If the herbivores are big then the predators either have to be really smart or big as well. Either way this islands been isolated since who knows when. We could be walking into a Jurassic Park or something."
Kyosuke looked a round a bit. The scenery was beautiful. This place would no doubt have something dangerous on it. A strong, dense electromagnetic fog couldn't be good for humans. Then again he wasn't a scientist or an ecologist.
Koori propped herself up on her elbows as well.
"'Bout what?"

Tony finished with the rewireing hand had set the secondary diagnostic to work. He sighed as he emerged from the engine. "What the hell? And he took the readout too!"
Haruto tried to relax. He could feel the blood rushing to his face. the heat was a new sensation. "As long as I have you near me, everything is beautiful."

"That would be quite interesting...And dangerous as well. I guess we'll just have to be on our guard."
As they entered the jungle, Hikaru did a mental inventory of what she had on her. There were the pair of daggers strapped to her arms and hidden beneath her sleeves, some prayer beads and seals. She'd have to mostly use her spirit energy then, that is, if they did get attacked. The island may look like a peaceful paradise, but one never truly knew. Within the treeling, Hikaru listened for any sounds, birds, rodents, anything to give them a clue as to what type of animals inhabited the exotic place.

"I just got an idea. We should go find a really high place and see what this whole island looks like. There has to be a mountain or volcano or something."
Kyosuke looked up but all he could see was the tree canopy. His ears picked up a faint sound. He stopped walking. It sounded like a cat. But where was it.
"Hikaru-san. Do you hear... Do you hear a cat?"

Hikaru perked up, looking about her for the source of the noise, half-wondering if she had imagined it. It had sounded like a cat, a soft meow, but was it? In this forest?
"I...thought I did..."
There. Again. Cautiously, she stepped towards the gathering of bushes from which the sound seemed to come, her steps light and hardly making a sound. It might not be the wisest thing to do, but one of her faults was her curiosity. She couldn't help but wonder.
"Here kitty..."

(( Melynx)) The meowing turned into a high pitched growl when Hiraku neared the bush. Suddenly a little staff with what looked like a cat paw stuck out of the bush. The little being jumped from the bush. It was a cat standing on two legs and had a green bandanna around its neck hold the staff. He was black with pink and grey paint markings on his body. He was also carrying what looked like a pack of random things on its back. His muzzle and paws were white. "What the hell?" Kyosuke looked at it in awe. It's blue eyes started intently at Hikaru as it began to hop from foot to foot. The Melynx stopped and rushed at her in an attempt to steal anything she had. It swiped at her with his staff.

Xiaeriene smiled, running her finger down his chest tracing his muscles "Yeah, they make you look cute..." She turned away, blushing. It wasn't like her to actually show her feelings when they were real, she was use to keeping them inside and replacing them on the outside with a facade. But, somehow, when she was alone with Bardok, she felt a bit more content, and understood. "Um, Bardok, I was wondering, um..." She flipped around and landed a kiss to him on the lips, then backed away quickly, her face fully red "Um, well, I know you are not big on formalities, but, I just, well, you know...." She smiled "Thank you, for being there for me" She went and grabbed what appeared to be a battlestaff with ends that seemed to be able to cause a charged shock through impact of the ends "Wanna have a little training session? I mean, it's okay if you don't want to, I just thought..."
Xiaedessa leaned against Haruto's shoulder and looked out toward the watery horizon. "Yes, it is very beautiful.....Mmmmm, Haru, I wish we didn't have to fight all the time, then we could enjoy peaceful getaways like this more often"
Suddenly, a growl was heard from the waters below, and a large pair of tentacles lashed out from the falls. They were too short to reach the two of them, but it nonetheless startled Xiaedessa, and she clutched Haru's arm as she lashed out, pulling the large plump Octoreach from the falls, her blade killing it in the process "Haru, um, is that dinner?" She giggled slightly, calming down quickly

"Woah there..."
Hikaru nimbly leapt back and away from the creature, avoiding the creature's charge. A puzzled look appeared on her face, wondering what manner of creature it was, having never seen anything like it before. Before the creature could reach her, she created a barrier about them, crouching down to observe the being more closely.
"What do you think it is?..."

"I have no idea..."
Just as Kyosuke said something the Melynx rushed the barrier and slammed right into it. The Melynx bounced back and landed on its butt. It sat there for a second as it regained it's bearings and then started digging. A few seconds later all that was left was a hole big enough around to fit its body. The Melynx was digging back to it's village.
"But it's one crazy little thing. I wonder what it was doing in there."
He left the barrier to go look at the bush. He noticed a few of the inner branches were chewed up.
"Looks like it was eating the bush. Smells kinda like catnip... Yeah I'm gonna take some of this. If we run into anymore maybe they'll go after this instead of us."
Kyosuke wrenched a couple of branches off of the bush. We walked back over to Hikaru. And handed her one.

Hikaru nodded, taking the branch in her left hand should she need her right later.
“Sounds like a good idea.”
Dispelling her barrier, she continued walking, but this time with a bit more cautiousness. The jungle wasn’t so innocent after all...

"Man this place has some weird inhabitants. But it could be fun to find some more life here."
Kyosuke ran up to a large ivy covered tree and began looking around it. He finally found a steady foot hold and he began to climb it. He was excited to be in a place where very few people have ever set foot one. Soon he came up to the canopy. He looked around there were a few small birds nothing too dangerous. So he continued up through the branches until he was on top of three. He looked around for some large sturdy branches and balanced on them. He looked around and was in awe. Trees went on forever until the land peaked up into a dormant volcano. There was, what looked to be, a small river flowing down the side of the volcano from the slowly melting snow pack.It disappeared into a river valley. A huge water fall loomed with in the valley.
"Well that would explain the hot springs. Hey Hikaru! Come on up! This view is amazing!"
He yelled down to her. He had no idea if she could hear him or not.
Koori rolled over and signed. She still needed time to think.
"Can I get back to you on that? I haven't had a lot of time to think..."

"Yea it's cool, I know you still got a lot on your mind." She smiled gently before rolling over to Koori to give her a small kiss.
Bardok paid no mind to her advances, and just focused on the spar. "Alright, but not here, we may damadge the area."

Hikaru reached up to grab a branch and lightly swing herself up to begin her climb. She liked climbing, but the only thought that bothered her was the coming down part. For some reason, going down was scarier than going up. Putting aside her concern, she concentrated on climbing. Easily reaching Kyosuke's perch, Hikaru looked around, marveling at the view. "It's...beautiful."Just then, wingbeats caught her attention. Turning her gaze upwards, her eyes briefly widened in surprise before she ducked, yelling out a warning to Kyosuke to watch out. A large bird-like creature with a wingspan of about ten feet was diving towards them, its intention obviously not friendly from its razor-sharp claws extended in an attempt to capture some prey.
