Michael took her hand in a handshake. "Thank you ma'am." When the bridge began to shake a little, he nearly lost his balanced, but his pokemon grabbed him by his legs to steady him. "Thanks y'all. That would of been a lovely swim huh?" The two pokemon laughed at their friend while thinking to themselves 'Maybe I should push him in as a little joke.'

Maddy looked over the bridge.
"I guess the first thing we should do is just destroy the thing. I don't think any part is reusable."
She plucked a Pokeball off her belt and sent out her Haxorus.
"Let's start with tearing the bridge down."
She nodded to her Haxorus and the Dragon-type moved over to one end of the bridge and started hacking at the wood with his claws.

A wide grin plastered her face. "Ho, this will be fun."
She threw a pokeball, allowing her growlithe to appear. "Amber destroy the bridge." The pokemon blinked at her. Ace, mentally slapping herself rephrased her woods. "Just use ember." Growlithe then proceeds to emit small fire balls onto the bridge continuously at the middle, until burst of flames erupts.

Misery smiles, happy they get to destroy something. She holds her hands out towards the bridge and shoots an intensely bright beam from her hands, blasting pieces of the bridge off.
"[I love Moon Beam~]"

Michael wondered how he could destroy the bridge when and idea hit him. "Hey Squirt, can you please use skull bash on the bridge and Spike maybe you can use spark to weaken it as well." Squirt and Spike both looked at Michael and nodded understanding their request. The Squirtle lowered his head and then pulled it into his shell before releasing an powerful charge onto a weakened section of the bridge. The section did not break completely but when Spike hit the impact area it began to crumble. The only problem with that was Spike was not a water type and Michael was unsure if his friend could swim so he quickly grabbed his pokemon friend and pulled him back before he fell in.
Sorry about that Spike did not think there bud. The Elektrike just licked his friends face before resuming the previous task.

The bridge began to shake terribly, indicating it was about to fall.
"Quick, everyone! Get off the bridge!"
Maddy ran over to the end of the bridge directly in front of the castle. She planned on getting rid of those rusty old chains herself.
Once everyone was safely off the bridge, she gave them some new tasks.
"I guess we'll need to clear some of the debris from the bridge. This can be accomplished by burning it some more."
She could see parts of the bridge were already on fire thanks to Ace's efforts.
"We have a lot of bricks leftover from repairing the castle walls. Do you guys want to use the bricks and make a solid bridge, getting rid of the drawbridge thing altogether, or go cut down some wood and make a brand new bridge that can still be drawn up if needed?"

She glanced at the remains of the destroyed bridge. "I vote for the solid bridge. It'll last longer and is more durable than the wood."

Michael looked at the remains of the first bridge and then thought of a stone bridge. "She does have a point and also that would make our job a little easier then going out into a grove of trees, choppin them down, hauling them back here, and then buildin the bridge. Over haul the bricks over here and begin building. Just one question do we have enough cement?"

"Solid bridge it is then!"
Maddy nodded to her Haxorus and gestured towards the rusty old chains of the now destroyed drawbridge. He cut them away, the chains breaking easily. Maddy gathered up the remaining pieces and stuffed them into a nearby garbage bag to be disposed of later. She then returned her Haxorus and let out Tiresias, her Alakazam.
"I guess my Alazakam and Misery can assemble the bridge while the rest of us apply the cement!"
A bucket of wet cement and piles of bricks appeared next to everyone, along with the proper tools for applying the cement to the bricks.
Maddy smiled at the two Psychic-types that would be assembling the bridge.
"Make it look really nice, okay guys? We gotta impress the public!"
She sat down between her cement pail and pile of bricks and began coating the bricks in the thick sticky substance. Michael, who was on the same side of the bridge as Maddy, sat down and began doing the same, both of his Pokemon joining in.

After recalling her growlithe, Ace glanced at the cement pails and bricks. "Sal can assist in assembling the bricks." Ace said as she lets out her duosion. She also lets out her squirtle. "Come on, Leon, We got to add the cement." Ace moved toward the cement pail and grabbed a tool to apply the bricks with the sticky mixture, and her blue turtle mimicking her moves.

Misery helps apply the cement to bricks as well as sticking the bridge together with her psychic abilities. Having other Pokemon help her out was nice as well.

With everyone working together, the bridge was assembling quite fast. Maddy let out her Fletchinder as they worked to fly down into the moat and carry away the floating remains of the last bridge.
"Hmmm... I wonder if there's something else we can do to spice up the bridge a little. I feel like it's going to look a little too normal for my liking..."

Michael and his team all shrugged. Before Squirt decided to dive into the water to get some debree himself. Michael thought aloud to himself, "Maybe a flag on each side or maybe the owner coat of arms. Hmm I do not know what it needs.
