Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, KilalaYashweh helped Oliver with some of his chores, deciding to stop early in the afternoon for a short nap which ended up curled beside the boy, but out of touching range in case he spread out accidentally. What woke him up was King Elliot knocking, holding a cub in his hand and telling him that they were to travel soon, so prepare himself. And Yashweh had little to do, so decided to find his original clothes, going on the hunting trip with Oliver. Elliot on the other hand, keeping Rin in his arms at all times. Kashi and Tsume ended up appearing, helping them pack for the hot climate that the king did not want to go to. Kashi made sure majority of his clothing was Falian, because the light wool clothes for the summer would still be too hot if Yashweh was truly from the desert. with their bags lightly packed, the boys things getting their own separate bags, they were put on top of the carriage and their driver was received, but instead it was Chelsea, the reasoning being that apparently Henry was not up to travelling once more, especially to somewhere hot and where the ground constantly moved. So the bear was sent to take his place. Kashi said he wouldn't be attending either, knowing if Henry was distracted his help would me greatly needed, but did allow Tsume to go if he wished. But soon the carriage was on their way, though bumpy and rocky as it should be, Elliot growing sick instantly and wishing Chelsea had her father's ability to smooth out paths, and she wasn't even that good at cart driving but towards the middle of the first leg she mastered it. Elliot's sickness did not subside, however, forcing her to stop the carriage so he could vomit. Yashweh felt terrible when that happened, and it seemed to happen at least twice a week. But the coolness of the mountain winter slowly lessened, though the travel took a long while, stopping in towns, buying things, resting. Elliot was counting the days, hitting the middle point of winter when they arrived, and he'd done nothing but moan at the heat, nearly nude in the carriage but when the boys decided to enter from sitting outside with Chelsea, he re-dressed himself and looked like a dying man. Even his ice refused to stay solid for less than a minute. "There are the tents!" the boy shouted, pointing out the window, seeing firelight into the distance. "Thank god." the king moaned, finally moving from his melting state.

Oliver had traveled silently, becoming more and more worried as time passed. they were in what was Retan territory and though he knew things were different, he still wanted to hide behind his master and never come out again. Leo had ridden taking care of the babies who seemed to have inherited their father's distaste for traveling. they didn't throw up, but they were not happy either. he just thanked god they weren't adversely affected by the heat. as it was, it took most of his ability to sooth them, leaving Elliot to suffer on his own. Leo felt bad, but Elliot told him to focus on the boys and he did just that. finally they were in site of their destination and he was able to breath a sigh of relief. "soon, love, soon." he promised, both boy sleeping in his arms, one on each side. they had celebrated their two month birthday on the trip, but Leo thought they were a bit bigger and further along than most babies their age. they weren't shifting anymore, finding quickly that it was hotter with all that fur, so they didn't need to worry about that here. Tsume had chosen to go along with the group for protection and now ran alongside the carriage, the heat not seeming to bother him, even in wolf form. when the tents came into site, he jumped up onto the carriage, shifting half way and grabbing the top with his hand to vault onto the luggage, his prefered seat when human. they had decided it was best for him to be human at first, so as to not scare Yashweh's people. "how you doing, kitty?" he asked, hanging over the edge and looking into the carriage with a smirk, "better shape up, we're going to be meeting them soon, don't want to look like a half drown stray, do we?"

Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, KilalaSilver eyes opened as small slits, pupils looking at the dark man and giving him a primal growl before closing his eyes again and relaxing. "I might need the night to rest." he murmured. "Can arrange!" Yashweh said excitedly, the Nalaeniran language incredibly rough and chopping on his tongue, his own accent thick and construing the words even more. He didn't even bother waiting for the carriage to stop, standing up and opening the door. He jumped out, rolling into the somewhat soft dirt, though it was mostly sad, and stood. "Stop the carriage!" Elliot yelled, horses screeching at the sudden demand giving by Chelsea. He got out, silver eyes peering through the dark and finding the boy" "What are you doing?!" "Sleep arrange." came the muddled voice again. "Home arrange sleep. Tomorrow work." And flinched as a loud yowl of displeasure came the man. He was getting really good at that. Yashweh had little doubt it was the heat making him this irritable and animal like. He was out of his habitat. But he was carried back to the carriage and lightly tossed in, the king sitting in the seat and breathing. "Even the night is hot." Chelsea waited until everyone was set aside, listening before continuing, going towards the flickering. "Where do I put the horses?" Yashweh climbed up to the opposing seat, hearing Elliot growl at him but ignored it, opening the window. "Horses! Other side of camp! Goats. I get family welcome." and smiled up at the bear. Chelsea found it hard to hate him and his choppy language, he just had the brightest smile. "Thank you." and closed the window from her side, listening and looking up at the stars. "For somewhere where there is war, I haven't seen a single white feather."

Oliver's role had almost become obsolete as Yashweh had learned more and more Nalaeniran. he didn't mind, the less attention drawn to him here the better. Leo bumped Elliot with his elbow, "stop yowling, you'll wake the babies." he shook his head and leaned back against the wall, "thank you, Yashweh. let us know if there is anything we can help at all, ok?" Tsume chuckled at the yowling and shook his head, "Well the prince has announced we're here to the entire camp."

Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, KilalaChelsea nodded, watching as she moved closer, people peering out or walking out completely, but she followed Yashweh's orders and moved to the other side of the small tent-village. There were lots of sheep, surprisingly. The horses stopped, Chelsea sitting in her spot nervously. She hoped this was a good idea. Yashweh opened the door again, stepping out and smiling. "I'm back!" he called. "And I've brought the new king of Nalaenir! But him and his party are exhausted and he's feeling ill. He needs a place to stay.""Just the king?" an older man asked, looking at Tsume and the bear. "Well he has the bear, the wolf, his husband and his two babies. Plus Oliver, he's their translator!" and smiled, going back to the carriage. "Out?" "Ladies first." Elliot sighed, moving his hair out of his face and standing, thankful for the current Falian clothes. But it was still far too hot. "Oliver, stay close all right?"

Leo placed a hand on Elliot's and gave him what energy and strength he could spare, smiling encouragingly at his husband before stepping out of the carriage. he had taken to wearing his Falian garb instead of the dresses and was slowly getting used to wearing pants, thought a part of him still felt it was wrong. he smiled as he stepped out, both boys slowly waking and blinking sleepily at the new people around them. Tsume jumped down from the top of the carriage, landing next to Leo as if he's simply stepped of a staircase rather than jumped nearly twelve feet. he stood to the side and slightly behind Leo, but he kept his face friendly. Oliver nodded, "yes, master." he didn't think when he said the words, just responded automatically before scrambling out and standing behind Tsume, his eyes on the ground. he was falling back to his training, but he felt safer that way.

Yashweh, Chelsea, SalehThe sickness was pushed away somewhat, king taken a small breath at the small rejuvination and looked at Leo worriedly. He didn't want the man to waste all of his energy. But after Leo stepped out he followed behind, looking at some of the new faces that shone in the firelight. He reached back for Oliver, finding him behind Tsume abd was about to grab him, but thought better of it and dropped his hand. The people though jumped back as the large man fell down from the top. His skin was not intimidating, many of them had dark skin if not darker, but his height and girth and the aura of protectiveness. But someone pushed through, looking no older than Elliot as the red eyes scanned them. "Yashweh!"The boy smiled. "Saleh! Look! I have brought the king of Nalaenir!"But a gold rod smacked him upside the head, the boy staggering back and rubbing his head in pain. Elliot had to refrain from stepping forward, but the ears flickered down in annoyance. "I told you I would send out other men! you could have died traveling so far north! The frost could have killed you!""It was not so much frost as it was thick blankets of frozen water. And it was white! The frost was piled and piled and they called it snow!" but he was quickly pulled into a hug. "Thank god you are safe. But you smell funny. What on earth did they feed you to smell so awful? But he was joking, looking up at the others and stood, about to speak before raelizing he didn't speak the language so stared dumbly at them. "Oliver," Yashweh said, still rubbing the forming bump on his head, his brother's hand coming up to rub it as well. "Can you translate for us? This is my brother Saleh. He's the first son!"

Oliver was already softly translating what was being said, but when he was called out, he took a tiny step forward, so he could be seen better. " yes, sire. this is Saleh, Yashweh's older brother and first son of his parents." Leo smiled warmly, "it is a pleasure to meet you. i am glad that we were able to bring him home safely, your brother has been a good companion during our trip." he heard Oliver's soft voice translating, the language slightly familiar to him, but he wasn't able to speak it himself. Yuki woke up fully and curled up closer to him, but Rin smiled and reached out for the people, wanting to pull and explore the different clothing and styles he hadn't seen before. Tsume grinned a bit about Yashweh smelling funny, but he kept quiet for now. he was intimidating the people and that was what he wanted, for now.

Yashweh, Chelsea, SalehSaleh listened to the translation, looking at the babies in the man's arms, one curling away and the other reaching out. "I am glad he made the trip safely, as with the rest of your party. I was quite worried when he ran off saying he would find the king. I am Saleh, first son of Kalih." he looked towards Elliot, reaching out to take his hand. "And it is a pleasure to meet you as well. Thank you for coming to visit, King Elliot."Elliot responded, thinking it was a handshake but the kiss to his knuckles made him tense, reminding himself that this was their custom. "We do what we can to help, much of the world is in disorder and Kasp has been an annoyance to many." he responded "We're sorry to arrive so late." "It is not your fault, we are glad you could make it here so quickly. Yashweh and I will be sharing our tents with you and your group. I am sure you need the rest." Though that little one looked to be wide awake. "I want Oliver to sleep with me! can we sleep together?"Saleh nodded. "Our tent has been emptied, recently, it will be nice to not sleep alone. Please, follow me. Our rancher will take care of your beasts. Everyone return to your homes." and those words made Yashweh look up at his brother's back as he walked, eyes wide with fear at the meaning behind those words. Chelsea looked at the horses for a moment before quickly following the group, sticking close to Tsume. "I'm afraid of how the people will look with sunlight on their faces instead of fire. Fire misses a lot." she murmured.

Oliver had known Yashweh would ask to sleep with him. he had insisted on sleeping next to Oliver the entire trip and, slowly, Oliver was getting used to the warmth of the prince by his side. Leo frowned a little and moved to walk beside Saleh, "forgive me for asking, but when you say your tent has been emptied-" he glanced at Elliot, letting Oliver translate, "well, as i understand, families share a tent with those members not married. may i ask what happened?" Tsume put an arm around the girl's shoulders and gave her a small hug, "hey, it'll be ok. even if they have pig snouts and glowing red eyes, i'll protect you. Henry might skin me for a rub if anything happens to you." he winked and let go, "or are you worried about their reactions to you?"

Yashweh, Chelsea, SalehElliot caught Leo's gaze, having a very good guess what the answer was to Leo's question. Yashweh had mentioned war, had he not? "Our mother is in mourning in the black tent." he said softly, "There are others mourning with her, and our elder dictates that there is a period of time needing to be spent in the tent to mourn the loss of a loved one. Our father was killed as was our priest. So it has just been myself, the servants are sleeping with their families for they have lost brothers and sisters as well, though their mourning period is over."Oliver's jaw tightened, smile disappearing completely as his brother's words rang in his ears. And he knew them to be true. He looked down at his bare feet before entering the lamp lit tent, moving the blanket covering out of his way as he passed the doorway, the large center mat woven with reeds, blankets and pillows tossed over it. He just stared before collapsing on it, not caring if he missed the pillows entirely. "I am sorry for your losses." Elliot said softly. "It cannot be helped, the Kaspians have taken many important people from many tribes. It is no longer just us being affected by their bloodthirst. But please, make yourselves comfortable. should I bring over some food and drink?"Chelsea listened to Oliver's translation before sitting down, smiling up at Tsume. "I'm worried about how truly distraught they'll look with war. Dad's face was different when I was younger, you know. You should have seen him. War didn't do him very good and mother described him before he had met her. I worry that's what I'll see come the sun."

Oliver hurried to get a blanket and lay it over Yashweh. he found a pillow, too, and placed it near the other's head, caring for him as he was suppose to. Leo felt tears in his eyes and had to look away, "I''m sorry," he whispered, knowing what it was like to loose a parent, but he had been blessed in the fact that he'd somehow got them back. Yashweh and Saleh would never see their father again. guilt filled him, knowing it was his words that had driven the Kaspians away, and now they were turning on these innocents to get their revenge. "We will stop this senseless blood shed." Yuki sat up and patted Leo's Cheek while Rin looked at him with concern. she smiled at the boys and hugged them before placing them on the mats, letting them look around. Tsume frowned and nodded, people had changed after the attack on the capitol, so he knew what she was talking about. "then we will have to work at bringing their smiles back."

Yashweh, Chelsea, Saleh"Thank you, Oliver." Yashweh croaked, trying not to visibly cry, though it was too late, fat tears were already rolling down his cheeks, curling underneath the blanket and trembling. "I will mourn when this is over." He murmured in response, looking at Yashweh. He would have to go to the mourning tent tomorrow. "And I thank you both, we are forever indebted towards you. However Yashweh needs his friend, so I am done translating for now. Our food and water is over here if you need any, please, take what you need." and gently moved besides his brother, stroking his hair before silently undoing the braid. Elliot looked at Leo, noticing the cerulean eyes and lifted his hand, wiping away the tears after the boys were set down. "Let us rest and plan for tonight, and we will discuss tomorrow. Nothing is your fault." Chelsea nodded, looking at the royal families, "They're always the hardest things to bring back."

Oliver glanced at the older brother before moving away, giving them room. he knelt off to the side, waiting for when he was needed. Leo nodded and looked over at the brothers. So young-though he was guessing that Saleh was his age if not older. "yes, but one moment, my love." he moved to sit next to the brothers and lifted Yashweh into his arms, hugging the crying child close. he couldn't just let him mourn and not do something. he carefully wrapped an arm around Saleh and pulled him into the hug as well. he did the one thing he could think of to help their hearts heal, he softly began to sing, Oliver didn't translate, but there was no need to. the words were not important, all that was needed was the feelings he passed on through his voice. Tsume nodded, "it will be hard work, but i think our group can do it..." he stopped when Leo started to sing and closed his eyes, a small smile on his lips as the clear voice filled the tent. even the babies held perfectly still to listen.

Yashweh, Chelsea, SalehChelsea looked over as Oliver joined her at Tsume, smiling before perking her ears at he music. Yashweh tried to resist, Saleh quickly speaking to the boy and to Leo but the music made him stop and sit down. The smaller brother's tears continued, though his resistance stopped as the song played out. The comfort made him cry harder. The elder's brother's mouth was a flat line, pushing away similar feelings. His mourning would wait, but Yashweh would go tomorrow. When the song finish,ed the new king nodded at Leo before taking his brother into his arms, stroking his back before lettying him lie down, resuming his unbraiding of the hair before finding a comb, carefully working out the kinks and knots. Elliot only smiled, somewhat worried Leo might have offended them with trying to give comfort, but was thankful when the two made little movement towards it. "Will you rest now?" he asked softly with a smile, "That was a lovely song."
