Okay, so assuming I stick to the plan and don't chicken out, tonight will be the last night that I'm alive.

Hmm... I'm thinking I might pull an all-nighter.

You had better not.

I'd better not pull an all-nighter? Fair enough.

You'd better not kill yourself, dammit! You know what I meant! XD

Of course, lol.

Seems like virtually the only reason I have to stay alive is for the sake of those around me, i.e. friends and family. I know they'd get depressed if I killed myself.

I'm not quite sure why people want me to stay alive so badly. I'm not really doing anything for the world.
You dont have to do anything just live and enjoy the good times and fight through the bad.

All I can say is you need to firstly put yourself first, in this case yus as you seem to want to make an attempt

@Jedi if your alive still(hopefully you are): If your having problems with rampant bad luck you need to remember two things. Good luck is more about you making the first move to grab it, granted most times you'll end up face down in the mud but in a better state than you were previously. Secondly luck is part attitude, the more depressed you get the more depressing things happen, you don't need to be all sunshine and rainbows, you can start with a affirmation in the morning, set goals for the long term, stuff like that, and don't mention dying.

@Soosh: Oh hai thar. ;D
@sleeping in the nudetopic: My room is in the corner of the house. Therefore it gets really cold x.x So the best I can do on some nights is just wear no pj pants and a baggy t-shirt.
Ohohohoho, caught my sleeping in the nude post, did ya? >w>

Sushi finally got some sleep last night....and yes, in the nude.
It seems it's going to be like this every two nights from observation. @D@

Hi everyone! Want an idea of what I'm dealing with right now? biggrin Okay, so imagine you've been falsely convicted of a crime, and you're about to go to prison. But the judge says that if you can write an eight-page research paper and two three-page short papers within a week, you can go home, your record will be cleared, and your life will continue as if you had been declared innocent (which you are, but they don't believe you). If you can't, though, it's twenty-to-life. You have to find all your own sources, pick out the information, and plan the whole things all by yourself (seeking outside help would convince them that you should really be in jail instead), in a library with no card catalog, filing system, or water fountains. You have a few different topics to choose from, none of which you can bring yourself to care about. Have fun! biggrin

At that point, I'd just try to get cozy in my cell. XD

Prison's not that bad. o3o Time away from your parents and responsibilities, yes?

Heh, if the situation were literal, prison would be way better...but it was a metaphor to represent living at home, and therefore is much, much worse than the alternative. xp Maybe I should've used hell instead, cause prison really doesn't seem so bad...

Well, there are always outs, right? D: If you're having trouble with the class, it might be beneficial to try it again later.

I can't do that. My freedom hinges on being able to finish this assignment, by myself, before it's due. Quitting in any way, shape, or form, or getting too much outside help, would convince my parents that I'm not independent enough to live elsewhere. They've said as much.

Jedi, I've had depression. I know what it feels like. I'm fully aware of the feeling of despair and nothingness. I also know how hard it was to ask for help but I still did.

You keep telling us all these things. Now try telling someone in your life who can get you the help you need.

I've told my mom about it, though I think she thinks the suicidal thoughts are gone. She was talking about getting me a counselor, but I think she stopped looking.

I'm feeling better now, for whatever reason. Sorry for making such a big deal earlier.

Then tell her they're not gone. She's not psychic, she can't know they're still there unless you tell her.

That's what this thread is for. I'm pretty sure just venting it out was good enough in helping you feel a little better right now.

Jedi: Lol. Sorry, but that has actually helped before. In my experience people who talk about suicide don't actually mean it, and if they can't stop talking about it, it just seems they are looking for some attention (Again I'm not saying this is your case, but my experience, I've had friends with multiple "suicide" attempts, and 3 friends who actually went on and did it), So yeah we eventually got sick of his threats and just screamed in his face and dared him to do it. He broke down, and stopped, he is now in almost done with college, with a lovely girlfriend, and everything is awesome now. The others are doing ok too.

As for my friends that did killed them selfs... those were a surprise... we had no idea they were depressed, they never said a word about suicide, and then BAM. crying If we would of know it would of been super tough love time again.

Tough love is awesome, it's why I'm wearing a neck brace right now XD

That one night
