"Whatcha doing?" Emilie asked.

Valaryia jumped back in shock. "Jesus Christ," she mumbled.

Emilie approached Valaryia, sitting down at the edge of the pool, letting her feet dangle in the water. Sighing, Valaryia took a break from floating and swam over. She owned no bathing suit, so she swam in her undergarments. Red looked good with her bright lips and pale skin. Emilie's eyes reassured that. Valaryia rolled her eyes and began to swim away.

"Aww don't go," Emilie said, smiling. She kicked the water, the splashes ending up on Valaryia. In spite of herself, Valaryia laughed. "b***h!" she said playfully, grabbing Emilie's arm.

"Hey what are you doing?!" Emilie laughed. Valaryia yanked foward, manipulation helping her. "No!" Emilie shrieked in laughter as she was pulled into the pool, underwater. Valaryia laughed.

Emilie spat out the chlorine as she reached the surface. "Oh you'll be sorry for that," she teased. Transfiguring her hands into propellers, she pushed two large wakes towards Valaryia. Laughing, Valaryia fought back, manipulating a giant wave towards Emilie, sweeping her underwater.

After the fun was over, Emilie, in a drenched evening gown, and Valaryia, in her underwear, sat on the pool steps, half-emerged in water. "You know," Valaryia said. "This is the most fun I think I've had since I was here." And it was the truth. She almost didn't miss Neferata.

Emilie smiled at the brief happiness in Valaryia's eyes. "I'm truely glad," she said softly. "I hate seeing you so sad."

"Yeah?"

"Yes."

Valaryia looked towards the sky. She wanted to miss Neferata. But she was happy right now.

Emilie's dress was damp but no longer dripping, good enough to make their way into the mansion. Valaryia held her dress, draped over one arm. She assumed no one would be out in the mansion at this time.

"Mmm you should just dress like this more often," Emilie said with a sideways smile.

"Shut up," Valaryia said, shoving a laughing Emilie. But she couldn't deny that it felt good to be complimented like the old days.

As they entered the manor, they spotted an unfamiliar man. Valaryia screamed and hid behind Emilie.

"Oh sorry!" Emilie said for Valaryia. "She's half-naked, see."

From behind Emilie Valaryia kicked her in the back of the knee, sending her buckling slightly foward.

Emilie stood straight, her haughtiness coming back. "Lady Emilie Williams," she said stiffly, annoyed that the Williams name had no effect in this new world of vampires and demons. "And this behind me is Valaryia. Who should be taking this time to put clothes on." At this note, Valaryia shuffled quickly to pull her sundress over her head from behind Emilie.

spike woke up, and then he got changed and went downstairs to get something to eat and he took a small bottle of milk because he didn't feel like eating inside, he walked outside and sat on the step and ate his sandwich and then he drank his milk


spike looked up and seen something run into the woods, and he ran after it

as he reached the person the whispered something that spike only just managed to make out as "ekips dloheb" and then spike broke down in agony


"GAHH!" "what is happening to me" spike said looking at his hand as a sharp pointy thing came out of it and spike let out a pain crawling scream "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!, THE PAIN"


spike stood up in front of the being "wh-what have you done to me" spike said to the being


"you have now got a power that matches your name"


"b-but how do you know my name?" spike asked a little scared


"i know because i have been monitering your every move we have had an encounter before remember?"


spike had a flash back "huh you are the person that attacked me eva and dave aren't you?"

"correct, and now you can shoot spikes from your body"


"b-b-but i dont want this power" spike said falling against a tree


"well tuff i am your enemy and that spell can not be reversed so you are stuch with it, now get used to it!" the being said as he vanished into thin air


"o-o-ok then" spike said turning and limping back to the manor. as spike reached the manor he sat on the step looking at his arm as he made spike come out of it and then go back in

"i think i can get used to this power" spike said giggling abit

spike seen dave running up to the manor, 5 spikes stuck out of his back "darn i cant controll these spikes yet, and DAMN IT im bleeding from them" spike said thinking of a way to retract the spikes, but when he tried Evan more of them appeared

" stare touch me or the spikes and die" spike said as he covered himself in spikes "i know how to use these things.....................ok ok you got me i dont know how to use them"
