Sorry Rave I didn't see. sweatdrop I was walking in the creek with Lindsey and Tiff and I was goofing off. We found a long stretch of stream bed with sheet rock. It was way smoother than the rocks of the fast paced rapids before that we had walked through so we were hanging around there laughing and playing. Well, I was out in the middle in the stronger part of the current and I slipped. My right leg came right out from under me, and I turned to face downstream with it, my left leg bending so I could drop to my knees to catch myself. That didn't work out so well. I landed at a perfect right angle on my left knee(the same one I smashed in skateboarding last(?) year) with all my weight. Of course my knee was smashed against the sheet rock in the stream and in a moment of shock/pain I fell over and was then pushed further down with the current. Lindsey thought it was hilarious as it kinda did look like I did a cartoonish slip on a banana peel. sweatdrop Tiff was concerned though. xD

And the worst part? We had been exploring down stream from our group. And the state park is a VERY big place. The spot where this happened was about half a mile away from our group along the rocky, dangerous, slipper, over grown path of the stream. With an injured knee, there was NO way it was humanly possible for me to get back to our camp site. sweatdrop Luckily for us, my mom had gotten ticked off with concern waiting for us to get back from our expedition and had gotten in the van to come looking for us. She found us about 5 minute after I fell. And so she chewed me out while I limped to the van, and then we all piled in and drove back along the road. xD! Hows that for yah? Perfect timing.

._.'' ........*blinks at Mui and Rave* Oh it's okay guys! I've just got it badly bruised at the moment, only a dull throb. Nothing serious! It was my fault for walking out in the middle on those rocks anyway. It was a dumb idea. sweatdrop It's just really stiff, and stings when I stand on it too long. I've had WAY worse. *waves it off as she has a high tolerance for pain* n_n'' Thank you though, but I'm okay.

stare THAT was no where NEAR a "chewing out" young lady....need I REMIND you what an actual 'chewing out' would be like?

*Had hiked as far downstream from the shelter as it was possible to do without GOING in the stream....after reaching her limit of waiting....and so had to hike back to the shelter---where her father who's already HAD four heart attacks was waiting not so patiently*

OH! and you also forgot to mention that you were SUPPOSED to be fetching your big sister and telling her to come BACK TO THE SHELTER....her Dad picked her up--and didn't return to tell us though--so that dissipated a LOT of my annoyance at her having been missing for going on an hour. Her injured knee dissipated the rest....

The fact that you wandered off yet AGAIN later wasn't a highlight of MY day....grrrr. If you plan on volunteering your family for this sort of activity again, young lady--you had BETTER settle it in your mind right now to stay where you're at least within hearing.

You should still get it checked out, just in case you've slid around the cartilege in your knee, Ash.
