Mephlius ran in, the full moon cheering him on with every step. He was on all fours, in full Lycan form. Each of his powerful strides landed with a loud "Thud" on the concrete. He climbed on top of tall buildings, jumped between them, jumped down from them. He could do anything... He stood on top of one building, on his hind legs, and stared off into the moon.

"Mephlius! Mephlius!!" Amnity called, rushing through the streets, darting her eyes back and forth, looking for any sign of him. It was no use...He could be anywhere by now. She looked at the moon, cursing it silently for taking her love away. As she raced through the streets, her heart was beating quickly, which wasn't a good sign. Ignoring it, she pressed onward.

Mephlius heard his name called... not just by anyone... but by her. He turned toward it, trying to find her. His eyes flashed human-like, as he frantically looked for her. He blinked, his eyes wolf-like once more. NO! Give me back! GIVE ME BACK BEFORE I... His wolf-like mind refused to listen, and a grin spread across Mephlius' face. STOP! Give... me... back! He howled once, partly from confusion, and partly by Mephlius' human mind wanting to.

Amnity heard the howl and immediately rushed toward it. She looked around, then looked up at the roof of the building. There he was, in his lycan form. "Mephlius!!! Mephlius it's Am!" She called to him, cupping her hands over her mouth to amplify her voice. "Come back Mephlius! Please!!"

Mephlius heard her, and his eyes became human once more. His fangs receded slightly. He let out a slight whimpering sound. He wanted so much to run off the building, run up to her, hug her, and kiss her... but he knew what would happen. He knew that as soon as he got close... the lycan in him would take over and... finish the job. He turned away, and saw a small alleyway. I have to get out of the moon... He ran toward the alleyway, and latched onto the building. His claws dug in, slowing his fall. As soon as he had descended a few stories, he saw the moon dip under the building. He smiled, and began becoming human again. Rather... he stopped smiling when he realized his claws were retracting. He clawed at the building... with his human hand. DAMNIT! He slipped off of the building, falling two stories and landing in the alleyway.

Amnity raced after him, not caring if he wanted her to stay away, she wasn't leaving him. "Mephlius!! Wait!!" Trying to catch up, she breathed heavily as she ran near an alleyway, stopping when she sees a figure in the alley. Oh no...Please God no... "MEPHLIUS!!!" Kneeling next to him, she leaned forward and shook him a bit. "Mephlius?...Can you hear me? Please say something!.."

Mephlius coughed once, coughing up a little blood. "Thank you... Am..." He closed his eyes, and winced in pain. "I've been better..." He smiled.

Amnity rested her hand on his forehead, pushing back some of his black hair from his eyes. "Don't talk...I'll get you to the infirmary or my apartment...Where the hell is my apartment?" She asked, looking around. Trying hard not to breathe too loud or let him see her tears.

Amnity looked down at him as he closed his eyes.She leaned forward and quickly kissed him on his lips, stroking his black hair back. "Rest then...Heh...I knew you were stronger than your lycan form..." the hunter chuckled a bit, wiping away some of her tears. He was going to be alright, and that's the only thing that really mattered right now. Keeping her hand on his head, and the other hand on her revolver encase someone were to come, she tried to calm her heartbeat down a bit.

Mephlius laid there a minute. The lycan blood pumping through his veins had healed most of his wounds. He stood up. "Excuse me a second..." He stretched his back, and it made a few popping sounds. He stretched his arms, each of them making popping sounds. He grabbed his shoulder, and relocated the socket. "Alright, now I'm okay."

Amnity got up next to him, smiling warmly in relief. "What a speedy recovery...You never cease to amaze me..." She said, chuckling a bit. Coming closer, she wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest. "I'm glad you're alright...I really love you...You know that right?" It was one of those moments that she never wanted to end, but she knew it must because though he was safe behind an alley, they couldn't head back to her apartment or the moon will show its ugly face again. "What do we do now?" Amnity asked, not releasing the hug.

Amnity looked around, trying to find a shop of some sort to hide out for the night. She shivered a bit in the cold night air, cursing herself a bit for not getting a decent shirt to wear, her red corset would have been better than a tank top.
Walking down the alley, she looked into a dusty window. It looked to be a building being renovated. "I suppose this place will do for now I think. Unless you have a better idea." As she spoke, she tried opening the window, but it wouldn't budge. With a sigh, she took a deep breath and punched the window, the glass immediately shattering.
