Mastema, like I said...I don't want in the barrier with a couple of cheap shots. If I REALLY wanted in the damn citadel I would call in the Leviathan and just orbital bombard the ******** out of it. But as it is I'm testing the citadel's shields, looking for some sort of responce from it. Have you not noticed me saying I'm watching it with my scanners? Seriously I'm not as pissed over this as KB is...but I'd really like a little more information on the shield's energy read outs. Wave length? Density? Something!

I argued about this with you, you told me check what Kai did. I spent 30 minutes searching, found it, and brought it to you. It's page 652-3 if I remember correctly.We then determined that the barrier gets brittle as force is applied, but always retains the ability to absorb force. The conclusion? No matter how brittle it gets, it's unbreakable. That is GM-ing. No weakness, nothing gets through. I then asked you about it more, and you said it'd require more IC knowledge. That's just you stalling over MSN. LEt's not dance around this and make it out to something it isn't. To me, it would seem that you didn't figure out what the next step should have been. You got the brittle and energy absorbing part right, but Kai was pretty much one step away from making a fatal rift in the barrier. However, she didn't actually do that step because Kai, IC, stopped because she thought she might cause harm to Than, I think. Since Hidjie is outside breaking in, it'll be a different. Kai was able to attack the barrier from inside and out because of prior preparations. Hidjie's shooting gallery is a lot less effective. If you want to call that GMing, then by all means.

I could easily fabricate some material facts but it wouldn't really achieve much good. As nice as the procedural details in your posts are, I don't think they do much more than make your character look educated. I did notice your scanners, that's why I bothered to post that you'd probably notice an energy shift in the barrier. If you're really getting pissed over this then don't worry, Mas'll be sending out some people for you to play with soon enough. I can't really do a full out battle right now because of the time and my school issues.

Also, on the info gathering thing, it would help to know just what info your scanners were meant to pick up. If I knew that, I would know what info to make up.
I'll have to get to that later though, as I have homework to do and it's getting absurdly late

Access through the barrier is blocked from the inside as well. I'm assuming it's blocking things on the same principles as it does for blocking things on the outside. Regardless of that, I'm just having a hard timing understanding how to break something when it absorbs all forms of force applied to it.
Hell, you said it's a gel substance (Which seems to defy gravity) and doesn't become hard or increase density, but rather simply pushes outwards with the same amount of force of something against it.
I had only formulated one thing in my head to attempt, and that'd be a beam from the inside and outside meeting, then pulling away in oppisite directions causing one side to push one way and the other the other way, pretty much pulling the barrier apart.
What's the problem there? It requires having someone/something INSIDE which is more or less impossible to do forcefully.
