bp56 Could I add Meriko and Kimini and Alex and Sunny on my friends list theres others I want to add but for now thats enough. Its ok If you say no I will understand. Also Alex could you try and get some extra candy for me from MS I kept trying to get some but theres so many people and I'm so low in level and skills that I cant seem to get any plus MS wont let me on for the last two days.

Celestial Archer Eskaatjuh I'm not getting the whole earning items thingie whee can someone please explain to me when and how we can earn items ^^ this is my first gaian halloween, that's why I don't get it so well ... whee owww!! and the candy that you can collect, were can you find it than?? ^__^ and the items that will be given away at the mansion , would be something like the von helsons event?? ^^

The way Halloween worked before:
You wore at least one Halloween "common" (store item).
You visited shops like Barton Boutique and the NPC would give you one piece of trick-or-treating candy. The candy would not be a tradeable item, but it would show up in your inventory screen in a new, temporary, separate section of the inventory screen so that you could see what color you had gotten.
Like Easter Egg gathering or Christmas Caroling, you can not speed through the NPCs and collect three candies in one minute. There's a lag between each candy-giving. I believe it's usually ten minutes.
After you gathered up three candies, you would go to a Map and see a tiny icon of Jack (a pumpkin-headed, black-clothed NPC). Clicking on him would bring up a dialogue where he would take your candies and give you a bag instead.
The contents of the bag would depend on what combination of candies you gave him. There were eight bags in total each year.
Since there will be the option to trick-or-treat in Towns, I'm not sure if the whole set-up will change somewhat. Perhaps the NPCs will be stationed in the "outer ring" of a neighborhood while Jack will appear in the fountain block. There are also more NPCs and towns this year than last, so I'm not sure how the different color candies will be distributed. (Or perhaps some NPCs/town just won't give out candy.)

NPC = Non-Player-Character
Example: Ian, Moira, Sasha, Gino, Gambino. They're all NPC's.
