Tomo nodded and bowed politely. "Glad I could be of service, Emy." He said, standing back up. "Glad to have you aboard!" He added, reaching up to scratch an itch on the tip of his ear. "So, make yourself at home as much as you can and I should have your room ready by tomorrow."

"Aye, yes. You're a great help." she said, as she sat on her bum, getting comfortable on the bartop. "Hopefully you can say the same 'bout me!" she called cheerfully, while starting to braid a piece of hair that had fallen into her face. "Hmm. Who do you love?" she asked. Though a fine bartender, and polite... Emy had a way with personal questions between co-workers. S'posing that she could consider him one anyways. "Can see it in your eyes, you know? Aye.. She must be around here." she said, tapping her chin, and glancing to the stairs. "Chlidren, too?" she added, with a sneaky grin.

Tomo sat up on the bar beside her, "You can tell all that just by looking at me?" He asked, arching one eyebrow. "I love a beautiful neko named Cassanova." He said, bringing his knees up to his chin. "And I have two wonderful children. Rhiannon is ten and Liam is just a few days old." He explained swaying his tail happily as it dangled over the side of the bar.

"It's fantastic that she loves you, too." Emy said, watching his tail wag. "I am a very observant person, you ought to know." she said, tapping her head with a fingr, as she looked at the large room around them. "How long have you owned the place?" she asked, dislcosing informaction that she shouldn't quite have known without asking. Who's to say he owned it? Ahh.. anyways.

"Well, it's been in my ownership for a smidgen over two years." Tomo said, leaning back on his hands, "But it's in up and running for about a year and a half." He explained, keeping his tail moving as he thought. "And every day, this place becomes more and more like a home, you know? It feels amazing to house so many people."

"Amazing." Emy said, with a sigh. "I've always wanted my own place, you know?" she said, sighing a little bit. "I just,... A place that I made! That other people call their home. But, then again." Emy paused, as she brushed back her deep brunette hair. "No one really takes a 6 3/4 inch tall sprite seriously. Sort of difficult." she said, biting her lip. She pulled the cloth around her, and got comfy, as she watched the dim fire at teh other end of the room.

Tomo let his tail stop. "Well, I think that's silly. You're an extremely intelligent and observant person." He mused with a gentle smile. "Besides, aren't there other sprites that will take you seriously?" Then again, she was the first one he'd seen. Perhaps they were rare nowadays.

Looking up at Tomo, Emy laughed. "Ahh, it is silly." she said, looking around. 'Do you house only humans? Ah, not the point.. I wouldn't house only sprites. And.. I'm not the best among them, either. Besides... We live among you. Not the other way around." she said, with another small laugh. She gestured to the rooma round them. "I mean to say, see the size of everything, eh? There is no alleged 'place of sprites'" she explained, all the while curling into a comfy ball of cloth, and green eyes still examining Tomokazu.

Tomo nodded, "Ahhh. I understand, now." He said, folding his legs indian style. He looked down at her and noticed she was settling in. "Well, you look pretty tired." He said, hopping down from the bar, "Would you like me to leave you to your rest?" He asked, cracking his knuckles.

Looking up through her mishapen braids, she laughed a little. "No, no. Just enjoying the conversation. If you'd go to check on your son, or neko-woman, that's fine. I understand if youre' going to bed. I'll stay down for a while." she said, with a smile. "I already enjoy it here. You do a good job of making it feel like a home to everyone."

Tomo shrugged, "I'm used to being up a little later. I find this conversation interesting as well." he said, leaning back against a support beam. "So, where do you travel from that you seek my bar. And particularly, myself?" He asked, tilting his head to the side unintentionally.

Not really replying, Emy watched the burning embers. "I'm from my home, in a town a ways away. And.. I've come to work for you, in this bar." she said, truthful.. But, not quite explanitory.

Tomo snorted and laughed lightly, "Not one to talk about yourself, are you?" He asked, sliding down to the floor. He found this small woman absolutely fascinating. Of course he'd never say that to her. He knew the awkward partially complimented feeling he got when Tanaka told him that.

"I s'pose not... I mean, I can!" Emy said, as she let her eyes wander, half lulled. "But, I prefer not to. I mean, it's easier to get to know others by asking them about things, than talking about myself, you see?" Emy continued to braid her hair, as she sat up, propping the cloth to use as a backrest.

Tomokazu nodded, "I understand that. Although I find the fact that you know such things as my name without asking moderately disturbing." He said, pulling his hair from its hair tie. "Not that disturbing... Like, I not gonna loose any sleep over it, but it is quite the poser."
