-=Neko swayed backwards some, just narrowly missing the punch as he fell to his back, moaning and writhing, still trying to fight. he perked up for a brief moment and opened his film-covered eyes. He was still full of fight, but his body just wouldn;t respond. He flung his arm slopilly, a few needle-shuriken sliding out of his sleeve and falling to the ground. The robes he had on slowly aded back into his normal clothes as he continued to writhe. The first chance he got, he would lash out and begin attacking again, but for now, his chakra and stamina were nearly depleted=-

Nyl dropped to her knees beside him, not having the benefit of Seph's Byakugan but knowing that Neko was fighting whatever it was that had taken over.

~Neko...~

Reeve tosses his makeshift blade into the dirt point first with a scoff...then a groan as he limps over to Fenris, leaving a crimson trail.

Seph rolled over and sat up. Byakougan was still active. "..His barrier is down.." He moved over to Neko and quickly placed a hand on his forehead. Genjutsu dealt with the senses, and those senses were controlled by the brain. "Release!" He barked out. A wave of chakra entered his skull, disrupting whatever jutsu might have a hold on his mind.

-=With no barriers up, and no chakra getting in the way, it was apparent that the black, sticky film that covered Neko's eyes was the result of a Genjutsu, with trace amounts of the chakra signature of the person who had cast it. Neko had done it to himself. It was a powerful jutsu, and it clouded all forms of pereception, leaving a victim unable to determine friend from foe. This, however, could only be discovered to this extent upon close inspection.It would take a lot to dispell the jutsu, and it was well known to those around that Neko's chakra would be back to semi-decent fighting potential within a little less than a day. He would have to be contained, or something of the sort, because dispelling the Genjutsu was a sensitive matter. Seph's Release was just met with a surge of chakra to reflect the jutsu. This chakra would have to be taken right from Neko's life-force, since there was no other source for it.

Neko closed his eyes, he wasn't going to give up, but his body had taken a beating. He would just have to wait for the right moment=-

Nyl sighed. It was clear Neko wasn't going to answer her. She looked up at Seph.

"Tell me you have...some way of...of holding him here."

Nyl shook her head. "I wouldn't know about that, either." She stood again, stubbornly refusing to stagger, and walked over to Reeve and Fen. She made it about halfway before she had to stop, but she stayed standing.
