@Qyp: I don't even have an Australian Accent. Then again, most of the crap that is on television these days, on Free to Air and Cable(Austar)/Satelite(Foxtel) TV these days is of American origin. So when I was younger, I used to get teased and people kept saying I have an American accent... <.< I actually know how you feel. People tell ME that I sound British...but I'm fairly certain that it's mostly just people's imagination, rather than any over exposure to british accents.... ninja I mean having a quarter of your family spouting off in phrases like "I shat the queen" and still using words such as "yank" wouldn't have any adverse effects on your speech...right? eek RIGHT!? xd (And if you think I'm kidding about them calling us yanks, then you've never been to the U.K.) they still call us yanks sweatdrop i would think that time would erase that little nickname gonk

xD I'm half Scottish on my mother's side, and parts Irish and Welsh on my dad's side... but we were all born in Australia xD. Try living with the fact that on your mother's side that you have over 100 cousins, part of the Gillespie clan that moved to Australia years ago. xD And the majority of them live south of you in New South Wales xD. We only found out about this side of my mother's family earlier this year... xD I talk to my cousin Scott on facebook of all places... xD

I might actually have gone to school with a relative of yours since she was surnamed Gillespie from Australia as well. Unless Gillespie is a much more common name than I thought and your Gillespie clan is like a special clan... Well Gillespie-Wong due to marriage but you know lol. I like the song Jesus. I also like dears, Mirror, Papa Lap a Lap Lopped and Redemption.

I've only met a few small number of my cousins as well as few of my mother's cousins. Gillespie seems to be a common Scottish surname, and a clan name as well. I'll search for it though...

Eh, it's got to be easier to trace then a name like White. And would you believe as common as the name is, their are still people who have the audacity to ask how I spell it. One of these days:
"White, how do you spell that?"

Bellgaurd Bellgard Bellgerd belgarde beelgard... ive heard and seen all the ways theyve misspelt my last name gonk and someone on the phone called me a ma'm and i just hung up...it was a telemarketer and i was messing with them until they called me a ma'm scream
