A small knocking noise could barely be heard, and it was hardly even or consistent. But, there it was again. Coming from the general direction of the front door. Knock... Smack. Outside, Emy searched for small rocks that she could pick up. The sprite was strong, for her size of a mere 6.75 inches, thank you very much. One rock actually managed to make a "Tink" noise off of the glass. Ooh, that was loud! After a pause, she did it again, but... Too much force, perhaps. The glass broke, as the rock went falling to the ground just inside the door. Clasping worried hands to her mouth, Emy hovered mid-air, with a very frantic expression on her face.

Tomo perked his ears, actually hearing the small tappings. He was about to open the door when a rock broke through the glass and landed on his blonde head. "Iteee..." He whined, rubbing his injured skull as he opened the door. "Y-Yes?" he asked, scanning the darkness for someone... Taller.

Still levitating, wings fluttering noiselessly, Emy gasped. "Tomokazu-kun, sir?" she asked, her voice projecting, like a normal humans. The middle part of her wings reflected translucently in the glow from the Muffin's light. Oops... She wasn't supposed to let them know she knew who he was! Of course, already screwing up. "I mean, uh..." she said, voice quite calm, and almost a little bit annoyed. "May I come in?"

Tomo picked up the rock and tossed it outside. "Y-Yeah that's me." He said, eying the broken glass in dismay. Oh well. He'd fix it later. "And of course you can come in." He added with a pleasant smile. "Anything I can get you?" He asked as he walked behind the bar. "Oh, and may I inquire as to how you know my name? Of course you don't have to answer, but I'm curious."

Emy looked to the broken glass, with a small frown. She flew over to land on the bar top, where she walked around, following him. "I uh.. Don't suppose you have any very small glasses? Maybe just a shot glass will do. Water?" she asked, as she plopped to sit down, calm, green eyes surveying the room. "I've come to work! Err.. Ask for it. And, I rather owe you, now, anyways." she said, tapping her chin. "Hm, I should try and fix that later. Spell and the ol' glass pieces ought to work.." she muttered, looking up. "If you don't mind me talkin' to myself, that is.. Sir. Was referred to here, 'how I know your name an' all."

"I have something better than a shot glass." Tomo said, pulling one from the cabinet and shrinking it down to her size. "Magic!" He piped as he filled the tiny glass and held it out to her. "And don't worry about the glass. I'll get it." He leaned back against the bar and thought, "A job? What position would you want to work?" He asked, positive he could find a job for her.

She took the glass, drinking at it, liking the man already. As she sat at the bar, she tapped at her chin. "I'm a fair bartender. Fantastic with liquor and every shot you can think of, I will know." she said, with a sound nod. Her naturally calm face surveyed the bar, and she smiled weakly. "If I'm to sleep.. " she started, voice very small. "Ey, does that spell work on more than glasses?" she inquired, as she took another swallow of her water. Six and three quarter inches was a comfortable height, and her wings helped her get around. T'was a bit difficult to fly everywhere, though.

Tomo smiled, "Well, I don't doubt your ability to lift a bottle since you're quite skilled at throwing rocks at my head." He chuckled as he walked towards the door. He bent down and magicked the glass to rise up and fit itself back into place in the small window. "As for a room, it'll be easier if I create a room instead of shrink one of my own... That whole, defying physics thing was never my strong suit." He walked back over to the bar, "If that's all okay, you're hired!"

Emy watched his little trip, and she laughed a little bit. "Sounds fantastic." she replied, examining the bar. "Seems like you've a bunch of jack of all trades' and, no bartenders!" she said, as she looked at how the alcohols were arranged. Mostly for convenience, not in any sensical order. Shrugging, she hopped back up onto the bar top, and taking the glass of water. "You're quite the helpful one. It doesn't matter for tonight, tho. Could probably live with the back of the sofa. Unless... Are there any cats around?" she asked, eyse growing a bit wide, as she looked around. Cats were the only thing that would break Emy from her calm, cool state.

Tomo tapped his chin. "There's Boba... But she's getting pretty old and only sleeps in the laundry room. She stays out of here because she doesn't like the hub bub." The cat boy explained, swaying his tail as he spoke. "You should be fine, but if you're uneasy, I can offer you a big room for the night. I'm a little magically exhausted from a major healing I just did."

Glancing to the stairs, Emy shrugged. "Sounds fine. Whattabout a baby blanket, or summat?" she asked, as she finished off her water, and looked at the catboy. Wrinkling her brow, she tapped her chin. "Not really a neko, are 'ya?" she said, smiling. People usually expected a small, pipsqueak voice from her... But, instead, it was one of a full grown, perhaps elven woman, with patience, and humor, quite often.

Tomo smirked and shook his head, "Human," He said, dropping his ears and looking behind him at his tail. He was proud about it, too. He perked back up and looked at her, "Something tells me you ain't exactly a pixie, either." He said, walking towards a closet and pulling out an extremely soft plush hand towel. "Will this do?" He asked, holding the fluffy cloth out to her.

"Perfect." she replied, taking the cloth to her chest. "It'll be fine. And, I'm a sprite, thank you very much." she said, fluttering her wings a bit, before they rested again to her back. "I'll start tomorrow morning! And, you are one fascinating human, of those I've met. They're all rather plain, really." she said, furrowing her brow in a bit of thought, trying to remember another interesting human she'd known. Maybe that snake charmer with a glass eye....

Tomo laughed and walked back to the bar, "I'll take that a compliment." He said, "It was a pleasure meeting you...? I'm sorry? I don't think I caught your name." He mused, tapping his chin. "Of course you know mine..."

"Mmr.." she replied, musing over something in her head, like usual. Looking up, she nodded. "Aye.. Emy's the name. Family thing. Emy Fayrelin." she said, with another sound nod. Clutching to the cloth, she smiled. "Thanks for letting me work here. I already like it." she said, the warm, homey environment seeming to welcome anyone, and everything.
