"Well, Miss El, I am well."
- -
Umbra frowned. "Umbra." She went back to clawing at walnut shells and eating nuts in a second afterwards.

Sitting back, amused, Aion waited. "I seriously doubt the veracity of your words. Those who brag about their deeds are usually lying." he commented. She was a little faster than he'd expected, but no matter. He'd been impressed by her courage, and had gone easy simply to test her limits. She might make a good underling some day, if he could get her to shut up.

"Ah, but I am home. Plus, you seem to prefer watching my back, for you keep commenting on how 'pretty' I am." Aion said, looking over his lithe frame. "No accounting for taste." he said, shrugging and standing. His meditation had ended shortly after the annoying red and black fluffy had arrived, so he went in search of breakfast, heading deeper into the dark heart of the woods.

He had set foot into a part of Greenkay that he was less than familiar with, having wandered away from his usual group of friends in search of some other company. They were fine and dandy, of course, but Gojyo was prone to boredom. And boredom usually led to him getting into trouble. So, instead of picking another argument with Sanzo, he'd decided to try his luck with finding someone else. Thusfar, they hadn't been too lucky with locating others to talk to, or bother in his case. But, mayhaps today would be a better day.

Kami sat in her tree hideing behind a bunch of leaves and flowers from the tree. In about a month cheeies would start growing in her familys tree. Then all her family would have full bellies. Not to say there was a lack of food now but every one loved when the cherries came. Just about every one in her family ate them until there bellies where full and even a little fat.
Kami loves the smell of the flowers. She had been staying most of her days here in the tree.

It was the faint smell of flowers that had brought Gojyo romping in the direction that Kami happened to be in. In the time he'd been in the forest, they'd only found one or two flower-bearing plants and the opportunity to relax under a nicer fragrance than mud-smelling companions would be refreshing.
It was his enthusiasm that brought him right up to the tree - and halfway up its trunk with his claws in the wood - before he even noticed that there was another fluffy cat in the area.
"Oh - hehe, hullo there." He offered a sheepish grin, wings shuffling slightly behind him as his tail lashed. He could've flown up to greet her properly, but his embarassment seemed to be stopping him from clawing his way up farther, or taking into the air to be a little more graceful and a little less of a ruffian.

His sheepish grin turned a little toothy, and he fluttered his wings a bit to keep himself from slipping down the tree.
"Uhmm, not that I know of. My name's Gojyo." He offered a little conspiratorial wink to her, giving a stronger flap of his wings as he withdrew his claws from the bark of the tree. A few semi-desperate beats later - far lacking the grace he would have prefered - he hovered in front of her on eye-level.

His smile turned genuine as he fluttered down to a perch next to her gracefully. Landings were easier than ascents, especially in this humidity.
However, his smile faded and his ears pricked back a bit at the mention of clawing down the tree. "I was trying to climb it. I didn't expect anyone was actually around here." His tail tip flicked a bit, a little embarassed that his climbing wasn't exactly as perfected as he'd have thought, and that she didn't seem too happy about his attempts - let alone impressed. (( And as a forewarning, I may have to get to bed soon... ^.^; ))

He blinked after her, a little stunned for a moment. "Well wait a sec!" His tail gave another flicker, and he spread his wings to glide down beside her, landing softly in a walk to keep pace with her.
"You're not just gonna walk off, are you?" He offered another self-conscious smile to her as he folded his wings neatly behind his back.
((And good morning. XP ))
