"Something's gone wrong...but...we shouldn't panic, yet." He read her expression.

"Well, if Vahn comes through turned inside out, we should panic, but seeing as I'm still here, and Jean's still there, I think we're okay for the moment."

He started to push various pieces of furniture and debris towards the back wall, in some cases throwing them viciously.

"Get ready for anything. And don't go near the portal yet, I don't know how shaking it up like that will effect people that have to travel through."

Sundrea thought on that a moment. It would certainly wear her down after a while so she wouldn't need to continually pace. "Alright. Let's do that. Maybe afterwards I can try my hand at cooking." Though she wasn't a master chef, she had learned a good deal about food and how to prepare it over the years. One side effect of living alone for so long. "Unless you've got a nice dinner in mind?"

Tenkyl snickers as he looks at her, cocking an eyebrow. "If I knew how to cook, then sure." All he knows how to do is cook meat enough to eat it. Cooking isn't exactly his forte. "But maybe one day I can learn to cook something really well so I can cook it for you, eh?"

"Maybe I could show you a few things." Though since her own knowledge was limited, she probably couldn't do much. Also considering that they were on a boat with limited supplies, she couldn't try and outdo herself but using little bits of a lot of things. So long as she had some good meats, vegetables, and spices to work with, they'd be fine.

Sundrea then began to stretch out, not really having done so the first time. It had made her feel rusty and out of touch but then again, she hadn't danced in a good long while. "Must say, this is a good way to exercise in such a small area. If I could play, I'd let us switch so you could give dancing a try."

"Inside out?" Owle gasped.

As far as not panicking went, she didn't seem to be doing all that well. Maybe if she knew what the hell was going on beyond that there was a portal over there, Jean and Vahn were on the other side of it, and Knights was throwing furniture around for some reason, then she might have been a little calmer. As it was, though, she was helpless and didn't know enough of what to expect to be ready for anything.

"Not sure I could go any closer to it if I tried..."

Holding onto the arm of the sofa, she stood up slowly...it hadn't been all that long since the portal had drained all of her magic right out of her. She felt wobbly, but, she could stand without many complaints...maybe she could even walk at this point, but running was out of the question.

"I should have known this would happen, things were taking far too long."

Knights sighed and went to the portal, moving a hand up the side carefully.

"Owle, no matter what happens later on, take care of yourself alright...don't rely so much on others to give you some kind of direction in your life. You'd be strong if it weren't for that..."

There was a kind of explosion and Jean landed in a heap in front of both of them, leaving Knights speechless.

"H-he threw you back?!"

She just looked at the both of them with wide orange eyes.

"Owle, no matter what happens later on, take care of yourself alright...don't rely so much on others to give you some kind of direction in your life. You'd be strong if it weren't for that..."

Owle looked daggers at him, despite the urgency of the situation. If Knights had been trying to get her angry to keep from panicking, he'd succeeded.

"You think I can't?"

She would have said more; she considered herself fairly self-reliant, after all, most of her wanderings were taken alone. Vahn and Rafe had shaken her world apart, though...they had both acted like she was supposed to be something to them, something important, and that was so all-consuming it was her purpose. Perhaps, unconsciously, she had begun to believe that...

...but give it a few more months stuck in the Firebrand with a child she didn't ask for, a Rafe without memories, and a Vahn who may as well have forgotten her for all he bothered to contact her, and Owle would be back to her usual self. Just because she went out of her way to help others, just because she allowed others to protect her, didn't mean she relied on them.

She chose her own direction in life; if that direction led her to help others in any way she could, what of it?

...but Owle didn't have time to give voice to any of that, because one of those people she would have liked to help exploded through the fireplace.

"Are you alright?" Owle exclaimed, moving to kneel by Jean, examining the girl for injuries. If there was nothing too serious wrong with her, Owle would try to help Jean to her feet.

Down the main streets of Latent a voice began to pass through the busy atmosphere. A few people turned and attempted to find the owner, while others countinued with their shopping and browsing. But as long as they ignored it the voice seemed to grow louder....
and louder....

and louder...

"Damrius? Damrius?" squealed the voice until finally it's owner had caught up with it in the town center. A tall woman stood about examining the area around her. Tall snow white rabbit ears that sat above her head twitched and looked about as though they searched for any sort of reply. Her hands were rather full than normal, but not with goods that she had perchased but rather what seemed to be extra clothing, a tan jacket.

While across her back a blade rested calmly on her back within a sling. It caused the woman to stumble backwards slightly, but not by much. Her eyes coutinued to dart about the crowd from behind her glasses, as though she were questing to find the voice that she was calling for.

"Look Papa! It's Madison from Team Inazuma!" Called a small voice from quite a ways away, damn publicity. It was true, Madison was within the state just from returning from her moments in the Heaven Or Hell tournament. However, her mind was way too busy to even notice the young boy who pointed her out.

She soon turned away and countinued to walk down the streets, occasionally calling the same name over and over again. But still there didn't seem to be much luck. The one called Damrius, her captain, was gone.

Tenkyl smiles and purrs, pulling out his ocarina again and holding it in hand as he speaks to her. "Alas, my dancing is rather limited and it's been years since I have done so. My real forte is musical instruments and prestidigitation."

As Sundrea stretched her arms over her head, she looked back at him. "Limited, hm? Maybe I could teach you some things then." Her own knowledge of dancing was a bit limited as well but she could at least show him a few things that would count as a good workout. She then smiled, tail twitching. Dancing had also helped her fight in close combat, some of the moves helping her avoid a stray knife or punch to the kidneys. "It'd be fun, I think. What do you say?"

Well... that was a nice gift of him.

Kichiro hummed a tune as his hands worked the ropes of a mast, the bow of the Corvette Class ship decorated with a golden dragon. Flames seemed to be coming from its mouth, the dragonwood painted in a fine gold over the Western Style Dragon with its wings spreading out along the hull towards both starboard and port sides of the ship.

Only three masts and fourty feet from bow to stern, the ship was rather small all things considered. One larger mast with two smaller ones, the crow's nest on the larger. The cabin midship had the Captain's quarters, with the Quarterman and Navigators' quarters on either side of it. Small tubes ran out of the Captain's cabin, where small messages could be rolled and sent through like a chute from the design of the air pressure in the system. It was also good for venting, and announcements to certain areas of the ship.

Wolfgang Goodmen had the helm, a Silverman from the Order of the Golden Dragon, whose race resembeled the silver surfer's in some ways.

Kichiro and Minerva's place was in one of the sailor's barracks below deck, but it wasn't like they were a bad place to be. They had a sectionalized off room that was put up rather lavish, and gave them enough intimacy for their trip. Being above deck in the more traditionally lavish Captain's cabin would put them at a place where they could be disturbed as an after thought.

Mustang was up in the Crow's nest, a desert elf that had gotten bored of royalty.

"Land in sight!" His voice rang throughout the ship, as he opened the announcement tube.

A hefty crew of humans, along with one rare harbor dwarf, worked the other various activities of the ship. Kichiro was only helping as a way to stay in shape, and to have something to do while Minerva recovered from last night's activities down below. It wasn't that he left her sleeping, it's that she was sore and tired even after sleep. Something about trying a new thing.

"How long till we arrive?" Kichiro asked Wolfgang, the seabreeze making a whipping noise against his ever present overcoat of goodies. Sized 13 boots making him stand tall at 6'5" and towering over the crew. His hands rested hidden within the black coat, against his dark silloughetted fame. Crystal green eyes danced in the ocean sun, and it was odd to be back in ties with the friends of Scorpio.

Burlap vest over a white wife beater and denim jeans, the Silverman with the slightly mettalic skin and elven ears looked back fromt he helm. His silver hair was short, but the spikes atop were still blowing in the breeze. He took a moment to breath in the air though, invigorating as it was to be back on the seas again. "At our current speed of 20 knots, it shouldn't be long at all." Wolfgang spoke with confidence, though didn't give an exact time. "ETA... 15minutes."

Kichiro nodded, brushing a few strands of black hair out of his way. He couldn't help to look back though, the two small cannons on either side of the ship made him wonder what sort of firepower they had. Everything about this ship was ornate, and magical. Small crystals lined the hull and keel of the ship, while at times they hummed, and other times went silent.

Wolfgang never did go over exactly how this ship worked. Though Kichiro heard it referred to an IDT at times. (Inter Dimensional Transport but he didn't know that.)

Those two cannons on either side covered a 90 degree spread at the bow of the ship, while each pair only covered 45.

There was two more on starboard and port that covered 180 degrees on either side.

Then there was a strange device that looked like a box, with many different colored crystals. Two red. Two green. Two yellow. Beneath those, two Blue. Two purple. Two Orange.

That was a device that could cover 270 degrees to the stern, each crystal firing out a different type of ammunition.

The IDT's storage was beneath the deck closer to the bow, where a lock and key could get out orechelsium to fuel all the various cannons and the multi-defense device.

After a few minutes of walking around the ship, looking at all the various equipment, Kichiro made his way up the starboard (right) side of the ship past some of the crew. He wondered when Minerva was coming up, as she said she just wanted to take some time to get ready. The view of the docks and the city were coming in to sight now.

The one thing Kichiro missed however, was how the cabins midship had the mouth of a dragon on the front. It was Golden, whereas most the ship was a light brown, just like the decoration on the bow. He didn't catch anything odd about it, just thought it another inisignia of the organization that had given him the ship and crew, tell he caught a glimpse of something.

"What's that in the Dragon's mouth?" Kichiro would never have seen it, except for the strange angle he was at when walking towards the bow from the stern. The light from the ocean reflecting must have gotten it.

"Oh... that's nothing..." Wolfgang's voice was quiet. For that was the bailfire cannon, something that launched golden flame that was 1k kelvin and would basically melt or disentigrate anything it touched along with some nasty collatoral damage. "Oh hey... look!"

Minerva was coming out, just in time.

Silence on the women's part. She poked her head out just in time to see what was going on. Anymore it seemed she was constantly underfire or some sort. No wonder she was slightly paranoid of other humans. Just like her mother, her old organization, and those who came at her, she just felt that there was always going to be something on her tail. No pun intended.

She was silent as the flames came on, and she watched, almost in disbelief. And a bit of pain. Oh, Gods. Her lower stomach was hurting. In a good way, no doubt. She wondered for a moment if she was ever going to retain her old ways again.

Naw. She rather enjoyed Kichi's bed. It made life intresting.

Finally, she strieked out of the confinds of the door way, into the open, where her blonde hair shined, even with dreadlocks. Her pale skin glowed slightly, as if she was something other than a human. Her exterior, however would confirm she wasn't human. Or, at least by Gaian standards. She was far from anything else - she couldn't even use magic.

Like, she wanted to.

She turned quickly, skipping the stairs (groaning to herself all the time), and padded up to her husband, staring at him with her lazy blue cat eyes. "Eh," was all she had to say.

Wolfgang bowed his head, and went back to the helm. He'd let the two lovers have thier time now, as was right for their honeymoon. Though why they picked Latent, he'd never know. He started shouting out orders to the crew as they came into the docks

"How're you feeling Miss Oda?" Kichiro asked her, his voice being rather formal as he walked up to her. Though his lips were surely cracking into a smirk. 'Twas more a playful grin, as his hand came to her cheek and ran up through her hair. It was custom for Chimagin to go days without seeing light after a marriage. Kichiro wasn't sure Minerva could handle that however, and did want to take her to the place known as Latent.

The Levi' verse was so much more interesting than Commerce.

Kichiro had also heard some interesting things happening about Levi' and Minerva would be able to escape some of the cliche' and chaos of Commerce here. They'd probably have some adventures, and who knows what else. Coming into the dock, Kichiro's free hand would slide from her lower stomach to her back and hold her against them.

The Corvette was an agile ship that could stop rather fast, but it'd still be a bit rough to someone with new sealegs and a lustful night.

She smiled happily to herself, more than anything. Her hand raised to the bit of metal embeded in her throat, as she pondered that a moment. She was feeling fine - however, she disliked water. It didn't help that she couldn't swim worth a damn, and had an acute fear of drowning.

Other than that - peachy.

"I'm doing lovely, Kich," she brushed her back against his front, and looked out at the working men. They must have thought her so odd looking. Esspecially with a man of high power like Kichiro Oda. "Just a little. . . Sore, that's all. I wasn't aware that what little fighting skills I posessed would come in handy at night," she tried to remain serious a moment.

After her mishap with the 'Vengers, and her mother. She was pretty much ready for anything. There wasn't much she thought could darken her days now, except maybe, clouds. But, that was more physical, than mental. And, it wasn't like her mother would show, and suddenly have Minerva under her thumb once more.

"So - when we land, exactly what," she wobbled, but recovered quickly, "are we doing?"
PostPosted: Thu Feb 01, 2007 7:53 pm

"Well..." Kichiro's went over her shoulder towards the working men, which to Minerva's surprise thought nothing of the way she looked. Back at Three Dragon Bay in the Void of the Wizard's Realm, stranger entities were commonplace and person's of power with them was expected. Kichiro fit right in with the motly crew. He smiled down to Minerva, hearing the boarding plank get dropped at the port side.

"I believe we should look into finding a place to stay, venture through the town, maybe spend a night at a hotel before continuing on." Kichiro would continue, speaking nonchalontly as though he had it all figured out. "Maybe speak to some people, figure out all that's going on here. We've got a new life to work on."

Kichiro let her digest some of those words, hands wrapping about her waist before her as she looked around.

"Though..." Kichiro looked down, suckling on her ear a bit and flicking his tongue against it before letting go. "If you aren't too sore, I imagine we can engage in some more honeymoon activities."

Oh, baby.

"Well, um," She blushed suddenly at what he was inferring. She was married now, and it didn't matter. But, it still made her turn red, like the virgin minded women she was. "Er, of course. . ."

"Ya know, I think this place might be wonderful to stay at. I wouldn't mind a change of life. But, that reminds me," she reached back, latching her thumb into this pants, "what do you plan on doing? Training here, as well. We still need to sharpen mah skills." She blurted that out with a bit of a southren draw, hinting at her orgins.

She swayed a moment to the music in her head; dancing to her own beat wasn't unusual with her. The usually odd music like, Emily Heines, or Tool bounced inside her mind, while her hand seemed to tap at his pants.
