Ruric Torrune Sweet Bridgette... I thought my Lost and the Damned army took up alot of space... What's the color scheme going to be? Khaki uniforms with Catachan Green armour and equipment. Vehicles are for the most part Catachan Green with Graveyard Earth stripes.

I really regretted my current Christmas Krieg after I saw those engineers... I love the units I got, but those engineers just look *explitive deleted* awesome. I think I'm going to use them for my Hardened Veteran squads.

Tech Magos Sejanus I really regretted my current Christmas Krieg after I saw those engineers... I love the units I got, but those engineers just look *explitive deleted* awesome. I think I'm going to use them for my Hardened Veteran squads. I'm going to wait for the second Vraks installment, which is sure to address the new rules for the Krieg combat engineers. They're probably an add-on to the Siege company list, or maybe a new Krieg list variant that puts an even heavier focus on assault.

I don't play a strictly DKK army, I play a Codex doctrines variant named the Kassarine 114th Sturmabteilung. But I'd love to give my arm and leg for the Vraks books anyway.

Just some points of interest on the Vraks list:
- it is a siege regiment, so less tank, more artillery - infantry squads cannot and do not carry heavy weapons - heavy mortars and quad launchers are elites choices, but totally worth it - Krieg infantry platoons can be maxed up to six squads and the platoon command squads can be led by heroic senior officers - ALL Krieg infantry, including grenadiers and Death Riders, have WS 4 and the die-hards traits, plus they can all use the HQ Iron Discipline special rule

Sounds like they make for a wonderful army. Especially since I don't field heavy weapons in my squads, not much has to change to make this effective with my list. And I just got a Heavy Mortar battery that I was going to use as regular mortars until I could get a hold of the rules. And I loves the arty, makes for a good time when you crush an army of Khorne Berserkers before they can even look your men in the eyes. And all platoons can be led by HS Officers? That's very points heavy but definitely worth it if you're a bit melee-happy. Especially since the men already have the extra WS... There are so many temptations. I wish I still had some money...

Well dig deep and get that Vraks book boy, as those heavy mortars are ordnance weapons, a little heavier in their punch than the regular mortars.
