Ryou wasn't able to hear Kira, but instead muted his own tears when he was suddenly given a grip of himself. He was glad that it was a cold day and not many people were out to see him curled up like that, trying to catch his breath again. His breathing shuddered going in and out, and he knew that if he tried to speak he would end up bursting into tears again. after a while, he sat up slowly and rubbed his face dry. "Kira... I think I'm going to die soon... Bakura keeps forcing me to--" His voice faultered at this, and he quickly bit his tounge sharply to stop himself from saying more.

"Puts needles into me. Forcing chemicals and drugs into my body. Poisoning my blood." Ryou said bitterly, closing his eyes. "Just about every day he's done it. I can feel my mind failing me, I can barely remember anything. Now it's like my body is just shutting down; the wounds aren't going away, I bleed more than I think I should, and I just feel as though my heart is going to burst..." He placed one hand on his chest, where he could feel his fluttering heart. It went along madly, and his body trembled violently. It had been like this for a while. But Bakura had easily been able to hide it from Khalid and Atem so that the two might believe that he was just being abused with knives and punches. Things like that. Not syringes and pills that Bakura forced into Ryou, to see the effects.

Kira angry stood up "...stay here." she said standing out and walking back twards the appartment.Her fist were clenched tight in anger.you could see blood dripping from the hand that now tightly held the dagger.

Ryou could only nod slightly, having nothing in mind to leave. Just the effort of walking with Kira would be painful, and he knew that she'd probably be headed back to the apartment. Which was the place he wanted to stay farthest away from.
Bakura had retreated into his bedroom, where he thought evil thoughts about Kira, Atem, and all of those people who had to mess with him. As he sunk lower into a hatred for them, he decided that he could do without caring so much for the heir. He would not give Kira such an easy weakness of his! No, this was a mortal world, and he could care less about this mortal body right now. He had grown quite bored with Ryou, and was starting to seek out any kind of new host when he left the apartment. Or he could just jump around until 'Fate' either selected or created a new one for him.

Kira slamed open the door to the appartment. "BAKURA GET OUT HERE!" she yelled.

"What the hell do you want?" Bakura snapped back, but emerged from the bedroom, hanging a little back. Kira seemed angry. He could only guess why. "Stop yelling, dammit."

"Oh." Bakura's eyes narrowed as he realized what must have happened. "Well," he said as a grin twisted itself over his features, "Just odds and ends. I'm not even sure about most of the things. Hell, I even made a few of them myself to see how the reaction would be. It was quite fun. You should have seen Ryou at first..." His attitude was becoming smug as he spoke of what he used to do to Ryou, which couldn't really be changed.

Bakura quickly fell silent and took a few steps over to the side, noting the dagger still clentched in Kira's fist. He couldn't really hurt her, since he would leave the child safe unless Kira threatened it in exchange for something more, which then he would easily give up the unborn kid. He swore softly when he stumbled slightly, his Millennium Ring that was hanging around his neck jangling loudly in the silence of the room.

Unlucky for bakura she followed the noise he was making.Soon she was right infront him.Grabing him tightly around the neck she squessed.you could tell she was upset "how bout I do that to you huh?"

"Then this body dies and the Millennium Ring gets sent back to Ryou," Bakura hissed at Kira, the only form of words he could really make. "And I share his body-- what's left of it-- until I can create a new one." Finding a lack of air, Bakura switched to a mind link.
