Oh, right. Dari. Where had he been? Maia must have kicked him out! How sweet of him to agree. He was a damn good guy.
"Sure." He took her hand and headed down. He realized he could barely hear the television sounding. Dari must be home, but he was giving them some time alone. A quick looked revealed the alien sitting on the couch with a controller in his hands, and he turned and smiled to them as they appeared.
Toby shirtless, eh?

Maia plopped herself down on the couch next to Dari. "I gave Toby his present," She said, smiling at Dari. "What're you playing?" She asked. "Want to see if we can find Nessie?"

"Skyrim," Dari replied, and quickly saved his game before any wolves needed slaughtering. "Sure, we can play. You gonna join us, Birthday Boy?"
Toby smiled and struck a superhero pose.
"Is that a 'yes' or...?"
"Yes, Yes, I'll play with you." Toby immediately dropped his stance and plopped down beside Maia.

"Isn't that the one where people steal cheese and dump it down a water fall? I've seen YouTube videos of people doing that." Maia's knowledge of the game was certainly limited. "I bet we can find it this time," She said, watching the tv.

"They seem to like cheese most," Maia grinned at him. "Are you ready, Toby?" She asked, putting a hand on his arm. "Maybe we'll run into a shark!"

"Well, we could take the sub," Toby offered as Dari switched games, "Or we could bring the Fish Taser." Not the official name, of course, but what Toby had taken to calling it.

"We'll take the sub," Maia decided. They'd go faster that way. Where ever the Nessie was, it was far away. "It'd be great if there were mermaids in this."

Luca had need this for a while. He wanted to further their relationship, ensure that Lori knew how he felt about him. He called Lori up, "Would you like to come to my place?" he asked. "We could watch a movie or something. Have hot chocolate."

To Lori, "come to my place" was a sort of step up. Neither of them had visited the other at home, and sometimes it led to even further steps forward. It was just a little frightening, but in this time he'd grown very fond of Luca. He trusted him. He wanted to spend time with him, so step forward or misunderstanding, he was willing.
"Sure!" he responded, nodding although the other elf couldn't see, "When?"

"Tonight? Er. Five o'clock? You could meet Lily too, but she's getting all sleepy like." His dryad seemed to go into an almost hibernation mode when it came to the colder seasons. "I could come pick you up, if you like. We could have dinner."

Lori looked up to Rosie who peeked at him sleepily from her spot on his legs. Huh. He didn't really have any other plans.
"Sure. Tonight's good. You pick the place, dinner on me?" For the drive, for the invite, and because he just liked giving people presents. Free dinner totally counted as a present.

"Great! How about that sushi place you told me about?" Luca asked. They were going out to dinner and coming home for a movie. It'd be wonderful! "What would you like to watch?"

"Sure! I can get us there." He stopped and thought a moment then. he was very easy-going with movies. He didn't even mind a romcom on the right day. Besides, it was more about spending time with Luca than the movie. If it wasn't, they'd be going to the theatre. Would Luca want to come inside and see his place? He should clean up a little...
"Oh, I don't really care. Whatever you like. I have Netflix if your TV can handle it."

Netflix? Luca was intrigued. That was like a library for movies, like a Blockbuster store on television, wasn't it? "It should. It's one of those New smart tv's. You might have to figure it out, I've only just learned how to hook up the DVD player."
Luca paused. "I could get us something to drink." Wine, hot chocolate, whatever.
