Oliver translated quickly, grateful that he hadn't gotten into trouble for telling the prince about Kashi's past. Leo was frantically looking along with Elliot, but something bothered him. Rin was looking at the bed and was smiling. Leo stopped and stared. he looked at the bed as Elliot moved the sheets around and saw the divot where Yuki had been move. "Yuki-" the divot was moving closer and closer to the edge of the bed and Leo ran to put his arm under it just before it fell off. weight hit his arm and Yuki materialized before his very eyes. "he-" Leo's eyes widened, "he turned invisible." Pix shook her head and went back into her room to check and make sure the eggs were ok. she knew she would be in here checking every few minutes, she couldn't help it. it was her nesting instincts, but it was nice to be somewhere that the relief wouldn't be seen by others. he heart and nearly stopped at the sound of the crash! she was a lot more jumpy since she had become pregnant. Kiara shook her head and watched Pix go. "do you think we should check on Kilala? she's been a bit quiet for my tastes and we've seen what quiet can mean."

   Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, Kilala"You're welcome. I hope my people are liberated too." And stared at the two a moment before cocking his head to the side "How will you two have babies?""I'm looking!" the king said, moving to double check the floor, crawling to see if magically he'd placed Yuki down here, eyes going underneath things. Quick footsteps before Leo spoke again. "What?" the man looked up from his spot on the floor seeing the baby content in his father's arms. "Invisible?" "Yes she has been awful quiet hasn't she?" Henry asked, walking to the bedroom and knocking, going to open the door before realizing he couldn't. "Kilala?" "Yes?" came the voice inside. "Why is the door closed?" "I've locked it so i can rest." A few moments of silence "I'm editing some things." "What are you editing?!"

Tsume snorted and then started to laugh at the question. "Yeah, Kashi? shall you carry or will i?" Leo sat on the bed, his legs having gone weak. "in the blacksmiths-the girl. remember? she could turn invisible and the boys did too, but-" he stared into Elliot's eyes, "That was yesterday. it was a full day ago and he's done other things as well. how could he?" he looked at Yuki only to see a flicker of flame dancing in his palm. Rin watched avidly and snagged the flame from his brother, playing with it himself as Yuki formed another. "Elliot-" Kiara rolled her eyes, "you better not be eating the bedding. i've told you about your strange eating habits lately, cotton and feathers are not good for the baby."

Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, KilalaKashi turned red at the question, ears falling limp as he tried not to hide his face with them. "Th-That's a decision for a later date! Tsume and I haven't even discussed children so we can't really think on how we're going to have them!" Yashweh listened to the translation and smiled, "Then you two should do it now, me and Yashweh gotta go somewhere else!" and stood, helping Oliver up. "That's right." Elliot said softly, looking at the boy before back up at Leo, shaking his head softly, "A copy ability, or a memorization one, considering they can still use them." Even copy had time restraints and limits. "Who do we ask? This is... unbelievable." If not a bit dangerous. Should their ability get out... There was silence in the goat's bedroom before some shuffling. "I'm not eating anything." she said softly, cracking open the door to peek out. "My digestive tract is free of any cotton and feathers."

Tsume's grin widened, "hey, that's a good idea. we should try for a baby now, what do you think, Kashi? got another round in you?" Oliver was glad he was pulled out of the room and didn't have to translate what Tsume was saying. "where do you wish to go, sire?" Leo shook his head, "i don't know. all i can think of is the elders, they were the ones that granted the boys this power. gods, we will have to be careful around them, regulate everything they see! even our own abili-" he felt something soft in his arms and looked down to see two cubs trying to figure out how to get to their father in his lap. Kiara lifted an eyebrow, "oh? then what are you doing so secret it there? does it have anything to do with that particular hobby of yours? you know, the one i gave you advice on a decade or two back?"

Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, KilalaKashi blushed and snapped his head to his wolf. "D-Don't joke about that! We have had enough exercise for the next month between last night and morning! I couldn't even take a decent bath! I had to change the water thrice!" Yashweh thought on this a moment, "What do you go do?" "Well surely there is a need for something so powerful. These abilities, for them to be retained for this long is amazing, unheard of. Dangerous even." He stood and moved back to his husband, about to take a baby before looking down and realizing that RIn and Yuki turned furry "Cubs." he said softly, staring a bite longer before instinctively grabbing them both in his arms and sitting on the floor, nuzzling them and purring loudly. He seemed pleased. The door opened, Kilala frowning, "No it does not have to do with that I still refuse to do that." "That's why you get stressed out easily, Ki." Fyr said, "You should try once in a while. "Are you eating the mattress?" Henry asked. "Just because I am a goat does not mean that my eating patterns dictate that life style." "You have thread in your teeth." The man and woman stared before she opened her mouth, feeling her teeth for it before finding in and pulling it out. "Dental floss?" Alice joked lightly, the door slammed in their faces.

Tsume laughed, "yes, yes, i know. you yelled at me every time, too. we still haven't eaten, dearest. food first, you need energy before you can burn it." Oliver was perplexed by that question. what did he do? "I-um," he fidgeted, there was nothing that he did that was fit for a prince. "I work in the kitchens. and clean when i am needed." he said softly. when he wasn't doing that he was usually in his spot in the kitchen, waiting until he was needed. Leo shook his head when he saw Elliot snuggling with the cubs. "Well, that's one thing that can't be too bad. their power is too much, we need to speak with the elders. i-" he bit his lip, almost afraid to say this, "maybe we should think about locking down their power until they are old enough to train?" Kiara covered her mouth to keep from laughing, "Kilala, come back out. we'll get you some proper food. come on, or we could have Henry open the door. i'm sure he knows where to get the keys for it. either way, I am not leaving you alone until you eat something with actual nutritional value."

Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, KilalaKashi nodded, standing and stretching. "Let's go eat so I can go back to bed again. I don't feel like doing any work today." he murmured despite knowing he would have work. Elliot had to be packed and ready to go. "Maybe we can work in the kitchens while we pass the time?" he asked. "Or find something to clean?" "It is incredibly powerful, and dangerous even." he admitted, rolling around the mewling babes in his arms. "That might be for the best, at least until they're twelve, at least. Any younger and it'd be far too dangerous. Twelve is still dangerous but they're growing to be adults by then." "I have finished already." came the voice muffled by the door. "I will be fine, I am merely re-organizing now in hopes Henry does not notice what I ate. What had she eaten, the man wondered. There were so many threads of that color he couldn't be sure what she bit in to.

Tsume kissed KAshi softly, letting it linger for a moment, before pulling away, "here's to hoping for no work!" he grinned and took the hare's hand as they head for the kitchens. Oliver's eyes widened, "I, y-you are a prince! to-to think that you ld work in the kitchens or clean is-" it was just wrong! he couldn't wrap his mind around something like a prince wanting to work the kitchens. "i cannot allow you to do servant's work, sire. i'm sorry! it is not right for someone of your stature!" he had meant statues, but mixed up the two words in his frantic attempts to understand this strange prince. Leo nodded, his palms sweating. it isn't going to be like that. he told himself firmly. t he elders will do it properly, it won't hurt them. they will be ok, they will be ok. for too vivid memories were forcing themselves into his mind and he swallowed hard, his throat dry. "I-I think that may be for the best. but the elders will have the final say." he looked at the boys, "do we go to them now? do we wait?" Kiara shook her head, "then hurry up and finish so we can go back to the kitchens and feed you. we might need to keep something up here for you as well, in case you get snacky again."

Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, Kilala"I don't think it's very weird. I helped with cleaning duties within the tribe. There really isn't an actual caste system, I mean you have the tribe head and his family, which I'm a part of, then the hunters, gatherers, the people who keep track. Within the territory Nomads travel we are the highest standing tribe, and during the solstices all of the tribes gather together and sometimes we're really big! Like a town! All the tents are together and strings and sometimes we set up stands and there's lots of trade and cooking!" He explained, not catching Oliver's mess up. "That's why I think this is weird. People have, levels. Which I don't think is right." "Hey," Elliot looked up at Leo, standing and carefully putting the kittens on the bed, taking the Falian's face in his hands. "Don't worry. Your elders are gentle and kind, much like my own." but he looked back at the babies, curious for a few moments. "We will have to wait. We need to remove the Kaspians from Yashweh's territory. And the boys will be with us constantly, so there is little to worry about." Henry chuckled. "Let me go downstairs and tell him to prepare something ahead of time." "I want to come!" Alice said, quickly clinging to his arm.

Oliver's hands were tightly gripping the bottom of his shirt, he didn't know what to do! if Yashweh wanted to work the kitchens, and ordered Oliver to take him there, he would have no choice. "there are people who are better at birth," he said softly, "and there are those that are lower. the lower must serve the higher, that is what they were born to do." Leo looked into Elliot's eyes and nodded, "ok. i'm ok," thought he wasn't sure if he was being completely honest or not, "the boys will be fine. it's ok if they change into cubs, that will be understandable because of you. but we will have to be careful they don't see anything else or do anything else." Kiara nodded, "i'll stay here and bug her until she comes out." she knocked on Kilala's door, "come on, dear, open up. Henry's leaving, so i can help you."

Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, Kilala"Well there's always going to be someone better than you." Yashweh said, "In Latia, there are lots of people who think I'm better because I'm born to the main family, but I'm really not. I want to be a man who reads the stories of the elders instead of a prince, technically that would be me making myself a lower position, right?' he asked, "Latians believe we're all equal, we acknowledge titles are higher than others, but brush aside the title and we're all still Latians." He nodded, slowly letting go and going back to pick up the kittens, nuzzling them. "You boys need to be back to humans. You're mewling blind things right now." And sighed softly, "Perhaps it would be better if they stayed mewling blind thing, then, to prevent them from seeing." Kilala peeked out, watching Henry and Alice depart before slowly opening her door. "I ate my shirt." Fyr stared. "That's gotta be embarrassing." "It was my favorite shirt and my favorite fabric..."

Suxh a consept was foreign to Oliver and it just didn't feel right. he lowered his eyes and bowed his head, if that is how Yashweh wished it to be, he would try to obey. "then-" he swallowed, "would you like to go to the kitchens, sire?" Leo shook his head a little, "they are over a month old, they are not blind, dear. unless cubs are vulnerable for longer than i thought." he stood and took the one he thought to be Yuki into his arms, the baby instantly returning to his human form. he had been right, the dots on the baby's face having been repeated in his fur. "huh, maybe they will be cubs with you from now on. this may be a good thing to help them learn how to crawl since cubs' legs are stronger, so they can walk sooner." Kiara shook her head, "Alice can weave some cloth and i will sew you a new one, dear." she slipped an arm around Kilala's shoulders and gave her a small hug, "did you eat it in your sleep?" "Did i hear something about going down to eat? i'm feeling snacky." Pix came out of her room and shut the door to keep the heat in. she'd heard everything that had happened in the hall, but kept quiet about that.

Yashweh, Fyr, Alice, Kilala"I would love to go to the kitchens." the prince responded with a bright smile. "Will you take me?" "Well they are only 1/3 lynx, and they are humans so the kittens will be vulnerable as long as they are." he murmured, observing the kittens mewl and move weakly. Yuki shifted back once in his father's arms. "That could work. Do i get to be a lynx while I'm at it?" and grinned. "No, I was awake but I was hungry and it looked delicious." she said shamefully, looking over at Pix. "I ate my favorite shirt. Henry and Alice are going to get me snacks."

Oliver bowed, "as you wish." he lead the way to the kitchens and paused a moment at the door before opening it for the prince and following after. "Chef," he called, "um, his majesty wanted to see what i do in the kitchens. is there work for me?" Leo laughed, "if you insist, then yes, you may. for now let's get ourselves something to eat. you must be starving after all of the energy you used up last night." he winked at his husband before adjusting Yuki and stroking Rin's fur, "come on, little one, you too." he picked up kitten who also turned back into a human baby again. "little brats." he shook his head before holding Rin out to Elliot, "let's see if he stays in this form." Pix grinned and shook her head, "keep some fruit and stuff in your room so you can snack on that instead of your clothing, eh?" Kiara nodded, "i think that is a good idea for all of us, actually. then we don't have to go all the way to the kitchens if we wake up hungry."
