Erin didn't really like how Roulin referred to the lives of everyone as worthless. She liked even less how he thought about his own life among them. She didn't really care what he thought about Thomas though. A slight frown came to her face as she thought about what Roulin had said. He did have a point that they were most likely too good to lose to these UNS people coming after them. The Artistic Owl stepped forward to stand next to Khalifa before looking back at Che and Kate with a small smile on her face as usual. "Don't worry. I'll make sure he gets back in one piece." she assured the Mastering Owl before turning forward in the direction Roulin had headed.

"Well... I can already tell I'm not going to like this, but what else can we do to survive at this point, right?" she said aloud to no one in particular before following after Roulin at a run. Fortunately, the Life Owl did indeed take care of the amount of soldiers that he had intended to get rid of. Hopefully, Erin would be able to keep up with Roulin and Khalifa, who were both most likely faster than she was. But she was going to do her best so as not to be a burden to the two Four Suits members.

Raising up a psychic barrier to keep bullets from flying at her as she charged at the UNS forces still remaining after Roulin's attack, Erin materialized blades made out of her own blood which surrounded her hands and almost melded with her arms so she could begin to slice at the enemy. At the same time, her reddish eyes glowed faintly and her ability began swirling the pools of blood from the already dead soldiers in the area. The blood already in most of the soldiers near her congealed quickly, forcing them into excruciating pain as they dropped their weapons and clutched at their helmeted heads. Other soldiers near Erin were impaled by spiked of blood they they had stepped into which Erin had caused to swirl along the ground.

((If you wanted this to happen differently Scythe let me know. ))

"What happened? We're in the middle of a war, and Thomas has turned the UNS on all of us." He walked past her a few steps. "Amaya we're on our own now. The world we once knew is gone, we're now in a world where you can't get by with kindness and compassion anymore." He looked at her over his shoulder, his glowing yellow eye stared at her for a short moment before he continued. "Which means in order to quell the flames of this world the people need to unite against something they can all hate. What better then a threat to the entire world? Unfortunately on one's own there won't be a monster that can arrise, at least not one on the level that is needed." He made a minor motion with his fingertips. "So if a monster won't show up then I'll make one." He turned around flicking his hands near her face from one palm he released a spray of a powerful sedative, one that would put Amaya out.

As the sedative took hold he reached out grabbing her falling wrist. He traced a small incision with his finger along her wrist, with his other hand he used his periodic generator and formed a strong solution of potassium. He looked down at her, with a remorseful look he said. "I hope this will be enough. It takes a man in order to kill a monster. The UNS has fine people, people who will never forgive me for this...I'm sorry Amaya." He began feeding the potassium into her veins, it was the same solution that was used in lethal injections, what the potassium would do is relax her heart and cause her to die, it was actually an easy way to go. When he was done feeding the potassium he could feel the pulse die down. He gently placed her on the ground. Now came the hard part, he couldn't just leave her like this, it would be to obvious. He gripped his hand tightly as he slashed his hand horizontally scalping her head. He winced a little as he gently touched her brain, he could feel her electrokinetic powers fill his body. He snapped his fingers creating a charge. He looked down at Amaya, knowing that the head was all people would need to prove it was him. "Amaya...You're probably the first kill I actually regret." His body slowly dispersed into mist, starting at his limbs and working it's way up to his head. "Goodbye everyone." He spoke in reference to the people in the UNS. The power to heal, and the power over electricity, how ironic both powers were powers to heal, ones he could use endlessly to give back the lives of the people who need it most and yet he was going to squander them on the greatest charade in history.

Thomas did his best to contain the Earth Herald that expanded within him. Apparently, thick substances were his weakness, but it mostly depended on how concentrated his Negation was at the time. Thanks to Lucien's influence, it was about a quarter weaker than it should've been. While that was no percentage at all, it meant quite a bit for the Owl of Death. In his years, he'd learned that being just one percent of your best could have you killed...

The crystal shards came bursting through his exterior forcing Thomas to release Sabrina. His body, still liquid mostly, was torn apart and was now redolent to Swiss cheese. Only for a few seconds was his body porous. When he returned to form after bringing his disconnect jaw to its normal position, looked upon the diamond woman and reevaluated his approach. Like he thought before, there was only two options. Where the first one didn't work, he was sure the next one would. If attacking from the outside wouldn't work, then he'd need to attack from the inside. Picking up speed, he took his last two shots and placed them on the sizzling diamond exterior of the Herald. The only thing he needed to now was to close the distance between him and herself to win this.

~~~
Roulin had did away with a nice fraction of the opposing forces. He'd also managed to divert their attention onto him and off of Che and Kate. Indirectly, the Life Owl helped his father, but not to his knowledge. Them leaving him was just an added bonus. The battlefield ahead of the onyx haired man was filled with enemies all looking to take his head as a trophy, but Roulin was assured that he wouldn't be going down like that. His first real opponent was a magnetic man. He was inexperienced with his Owl abilities and that only lead the detective to assume that his powers were bestowed upon him. Synthetics....more of them. It made Roulin sick to his stomach. Even their aura was hard to be within...not that it enveloped a large area. He was still weak and the Owl of Life was still strong. The soldier already knew how this confrontation would play out. That may have been the reason why his first choice was not his power, but instead his gun.
The the firearm was brandished, Roulin ducked. It wasn't to evade any shots fired by the frazzled man. He could've telekinetically diverted each shot wherever he wanted them to go. His evasive action was to dodge wide right thrown by another man behind him. He was far more burly than the Owl chimera before him. When he missed, he swung his arm back again. Roulin shot his palm into the elbow of the attacker. It didn't break it, but it stopped it. From there, the quick handed Owl grabbed his wrist and placed his arm at the collar of the man and pulled him backwards into an outside headlock. The man was leaning back, his eyes to the sky and his feet barely on the ground. Roulin was in complete control again.
The Life Owl lifted up in an attempt to either break the man's neck or dislodge his footing. The former result would've easily sufficed. When the man showed no signs of falling, Roulin called the man's serrated knife from it's holster. His arm was freed when Roulin caught the blade, but it was soon plunged into the center of his chest. The swift exchange of movement quickly lead to the soldier's untimely demise. Next was the gunman...to end him, Roulin withdrew the blade and shot into his chest as well. These guys were nothing. Where their combat abilities had failed to bring force a simper over Roulin's scowl, the acquisition of a new power did. Magnetism was now his for the taking. If there were more Owls here, then surely, there would be more powers. The once good spirited man would not pass this opportunity up, even if it meant spilling the blood of the meek. If they didn't want to die, they shouldn't have entered this war. Not in opposition to Roulin anyway.
Che remained silent through most of the exchange and for good reasons. Unbeknownst to the three, he'd predicted from the moment Che and Raven began fighting that once their fight was interrupted by the UNS, he'd want answers. Giving him the hard truth would send him down this very path...the path Che wanted his son to go down. The tactic was underhanded and would not prove immediately helpful to anyone, but the bushy haired thinker had a plan that would need to see either Roulin or Lucien taking this very path. They needed to become far stronger than they were if things were to go as smoothly as Che intended them to go. If it meant breaking his son's morality to change the world for the better, then so be it. The elder Presidiomni was prepared for the repercussions.
"...oh yeah. Yeah, make sure he doesn't die...the world still needs him...yadda yadda." Che's concern was their and it was palpable in his faux-joking tone, but he was sure Roulin could handle this especially with the help of Khalifa. Erin was definitely help and would be the healer of the group when and if Roulin couldn't. Then again, coupled together, their time was indestructible. The UNS had something to deal with now and Che could only nod. This day would breed two monsters the likes of which the world hasn't in centuries. "Kate..." the Mastering Owl began, "William Descythe, my mentor...I may be leaving you in his care momentarily. There are somethings here I need to keep track of..."
~Will.....get your slow a** out of there and get here if you can, alright? I need you to do a bit of babysitting for me while I monitor something...~
"I don't know" Aeon admitted to the Sapphire OWL. Holding herself she closed her eyes hoping that things wouldn't get worse. "Just enjoy your food..." she said as she began to resume eating. She sat in silence in 10 minutes just eating her food. Once she finished she closed the container and looked at Cecilia. "Healing powers would definitely come in hand right now" she said to Cecilia. Aeon had an idea on how to get them away from the hospital but where in the world would they go?
The diamond beauty looked at Thomas. Where was Timothy? As he released the his assault on her she began to run and pick up speed to compete with Thomas. The translucent woman wasn't fast enough though as some of the negation got on her as it began to burn a little. Her wrist was hurting her as well as she had to slow down. Catching her breath she didn't even notice the second wave of negation heading for her, Gasping some of the negation slipped into her mouth as she had accidentally ingested the negation. She stopped where she was at. She could feel the effects that it was having on her. Her diamond form began to slowly have cracks in it. Thomas had managed to defeat her...if she was to die he would become the new Earth Herald.
Sabrina then focused as she began to search for energy around them. She found two, Anya and Nik. She had only seen Anya from a distance in the past but she knew of the OWLs mutation...poison and acid generations. She'd rather have someone inherit her power who was familiar with an aspect of her earthly powers than Thomas. Teleporting quickly she stood in front of Anya. "....A...Anya...p...please...I know...y...you don't k...know me too well...and you...may...think...I'm a horrible person...but kill me before Thomas can...I...I can't risk him taking my title...and...neither...neither can you" she said weakly as the cracks got bigger and wider on her diamond exterior black marks could be seen on the dying Earth Herald.
Amara adjusted her body as she closed her eyes trying to catch some kind of rest here. She then sensed her sister's mind as she wondered why she was here. Aeon...I didn't know you were here as well she sent to her sister. I hope that you're alright but I delivered the baby early...his name is Aiden...they had to take him to the incubator....he should be in the maternity ward she projected to her older sister.
Aeon was about to speak with Cecilia again but she soon got a message from her sister. Her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh Cecilia...she had the baby...it's a boy!!! His name is Aiden" she said in an excited tone. She couldn't believe that she was actually an aunt now. "I have to go see him...I'll be right back Cee" she said as she followed her sister's instructions and went to the maternity ward of the hospital. She looked around at the babies through the window when she saw DeLeon as the last name on one of the babies incubators. Her heart instantly melted. She began to think of everything she could do to spoil him. She took out her phone as she began to take pictures of the young baby boy. Oh Amara he is beautiful...he looks just like you and Lucien she said to her sister. I'm here with Cecilia....I'll be up there shortly to see you, I just want to show her the pictures I just took she said to her.
She then turned around as she began to walk the long corridors of the hospital. Life was amazing...out of all the chaos and the destruction...life was still happening. Even though things may not have been going the way she would like them to go...things weren't that bad. She then began to think would she and Moli ever experience something this beautiful. She finally reached Cecilia's room. "He's so handsome Cee, look" she said running towards her blue friend and showing her the pictures on her phone. This was a new chapter for not only Aeon but Amara as well. Aeon just hoped that this was the calm of the storm and that they could stay here for a while.
An incoming rain of bullets was halted by a psychic wave from Erin. Her right hand was held up and her palm was pointing int he direction of the soldiers that had fired their weapons at her. The bullets remained suspended in midair for a split second before being shot back at the soldiers and a couple of Owls running in Erin's direction. Though the hits were mostly incapacitating. But a few were fatal as Erin knew she had to get rid of some of the more tenacious soldiers before they had a chance to kill her. She quickly levitated out of the way of a charging soldier from behind her, flipped over and landed right on top of the same soldier with her feet kicking into the back of his neck. She winced as she heard the crack of some bones over the fighting. That soldier was most definitely either dead or paralyzed.
But there wasn't time to reflect on what just happened because now she was caught in the middle of a patch of UNS men and Owls. They had her surrounded. But Erin didn't plan on giving up now. She had made a promise to Che that she would make sure Roulin lived through this, and there was no way that she was going to go back on her word. As soon as the triggers were pulled on the guns, Erin summoned up a shield composed of both blood and psychic energy to make the bullets ricochet away harmlessly. Well, harmlessly for her. Not so much for some of the soldiers surrounding her as the bullets hit them instead of their intended target. Then, she was thrown into a whirl of hand to hand fighting with a soldier that rushed at her. Knocking him down with a swift palm thrust upward to the man's chin to knock his head backwards with enough force to flatten him to his back on the ground, Erin quickly dispatched the poor man with a geyser of blood from his abdomen that she had manipulated to do so. Instead of this blood coating her and her clothing, it simply stained her shoes and the end hem of her long skirt. Without Erin really knowing or paying attention, the blood pooling on the ground from the fallen soldiers was being drawn towards her feet as if some invisible force was drawing it to her, which in reality, there was.
===
Kate had been silent since being healed. Though she could now hear everything going on around her quite clearly compared to when she had been dying. She heard everything Roulin said, everything Khalifa and Erin had said too, before the three of them rushed off to hopefully not get themselves killed while fighting the idiotic UNS forces that had invaded Rome. However, Kate did not say a word to stop the three younger Owls. The Eternity Owl simply stared down at her hands which had been folded in her lap as Che carried her around.
Kate was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Che say her name. Blinking slowly, Kate's mind processed what Che had just told her was going to happen next. A frown appeared on her features as she spoke out softly. "...Oh really? You expect me to quietly... acquiesce to having the Satan Owl... babysit me?" Kate stated, using her normal speech patterns even if she was tired. "As if that will ever happen, Che... Put me on my feet. I am perfectly capable of standing on my own." Kate insisted flatly still staring down at her hands. Even though Kate knew it probably wasn't a good idea for her to be walking so soon after having lost so much blood. But she wanted to prove to Che that she could handle herself without having that a** William DeScythe babysit her.
===
Anya was about to run off to find a way to help fight the Fallen Phoenix, even if she didn't know that that was no longer going to happen as the terrorist group had fled Rome already aboard some strangely marked helicopters. But before she could make it very far, Sabrina teleported and was now standing right in front of Anya a few feet away. The Poison Owl took a half-step backwards out of surprise and brought her fists up in defense as she had no idea who this diamond-coated woman was. But as Sabrina began speaking, begging for Anya to kill her, the Poison Owl's eyes widened. Wait a minute?! This woman was a Herald?! Why was she asking Anya to kill her?! Obviously because Thomas' negation was poisoning her from the inside, and working its way outward. And it was clearly not a good thing to have Thomas take the title of Herald. That was something Anya totally agreed with. But did she really want to take the position of a Herald!?
"What do you expect me to do? I can't manipulate Thomas' negation!" Anya replied, sounding exasperated that she couldn't really do anything. That was until she noticed a large chunk of diamond that had just fallen off of Sabrina. It was just big and sharp enough for Anya to use. The Poison Owl bent over and picked up the fallen piece of diamond in both hands. 'What the hell am I thinking!?' Then, Anya stabbed with all of her weight thrown behind the piece of diamond into the Earth Herald's throat right where the collar bone went across the chest...
Cecilia silently agreed with Aeon's tiny rant about not having healing abilities. They would definitely come in handy. But the only person that Cecilia knew who had such abilities was Roulin. She didn't know of anyone else. Trying to push the thought from her head, she continued to eat her food. The Cosmic Owl couldn't help, but wonder how everyone was fairing. She loathed being confined in one place for an extended period of time. Of course it would be difficult to escape without teleporting as she could barely walk and her mutation was still very much nullified. Whoever heard of Photokinetics nullifying Gravity? Then again, she was like the black sheep of gravity users. Her thoughts were then directed at the fact that she was now a Herald, one of the most powerful beings in the world. Despite the fact that she would be considered the weakest of them, she was still much more powerful now than she had been before the events of today. But could she really run the gravity of this world?
As Cecilia contemplated her thoughts, she heard Aeon's voice declare with excitement that Amara had her baby. Cecilia's expression brightened with happiness, but then after Aeon left to go see her nephew, the Cosmic Owl's expression changed to that of a worrying one. How would the child grow up in a world that was at war? How would his parents raise him? Would the war affect him in a negative way? Cecilia set her empty container aside and rested her head against the pillows, which were propped up behind her. She had a feeling that Lucien didn't know about his child nor the fact that Amara had been pregnant in the first place. She was so sure that he might have been able to sense something different about his girlfriend, but she supposed that there were some things even Lucien didn't take notice of.
When Aeon returned, Cecilia tried her best to put on a cheerful expression as she looked through the pictures. Her heart filled with joy as she looked at the beautiful baby boy who looked so much like Lucien, yet she could see a little bit of Amara in him as well. His eyes were closed in each picture, but she knew that they would be blue for now for all babies were born with blue eyes and their eyes began to change a few months afterwards. "He's so beautiful," Cecilia cooed smiling down at the pictures before she handed the phone back to Aeon. She decided to speak of her worries. "Aeon...how are Lucien and Amara going to raise the child? It's not that I think that they'll be very loving and capable parents, but with the war that is happening throughout the entire world, well..." her voice trailed off. She didn't want to say anything that would offend Aeon nor her sister, nor even Lucien, but her concern was for the new life, a start for the next generation, a hope for the future.
((UNS - Amaya - It's alright. I don't have much time, so just going to write a quick Amaya death post.))
Amaya listened to Lucien's explanation and she shook her head, not understanding why the UNS had to turn on them. It didn't make sense. "But.." She didn't know what Lucien meant by monster either, and she didn't think thatr monsters might always work. "I don't think that it works that way. Don't forget about everyone else," she said with an encouraging smile. For some odd reason, she thought of Godzilla and Ninja Turtles, but that funny thought went away as Lucien flicked toward her face. "What? Lucien..? What are you doing? Ita--" Her eyes flickered and closed as she slumped, knocked out from the sedative and having no idea what Lucien planned. As she dreamt, an electrical spark would escape and alert Itachi to Amaya's location. The Clueless Owl didn't feel a thing as she "slept" through her death. Her thoughts were full of her time at the UNS with her friends and Itachi. For some reason, the Japanese-Korean American Owl could feel herself slipping deeper and deeper into slumber...
----
((UNS - Will))
"Mmm... Will had still been "chatting" with Tim when he felt another energy signature start to drop. There was a lot of those here, but then again it was a battle field. What concerned him was the strength of this one. "Thomas... .he better not have...." The Satan Owl's eyes narrowed. "Timothy, you do know that Noel and I had been monitoring Thomas to prevent him from taking your and the rest of the family out, don't you? Neither of us are watching him right now. He'd better not have---" Will cursed to himself. He had been so focused on distracting Tim, he had forgotten to keep a closer eye on Thomas. Hopefully, the large signature wasn't a Thomas killing a Herald.
And then Will got Che's message. "We'll talk later, Tim. We both have people we need to watch now." The Satan Owl frowned for a moment. ~Shut up, Cheani. You're the slow a**. Babysitting? Psh. Fine. I'm coming. And do tell me how Thomas is doing. I.. lost track of him for a moment.........~ Without another word, Will took off toward Che and Kate's location.
((Maha, you can have Will arrive in your next Che post depending on how you and dt want the timing.))
Aeon looked at Cecilia. She made a great point. She could tell that Cecilia didn't want to step on her toes but she smiled. "You're not offending anyone" she said with a slight smile. "But you do raise a valid point..." she said to the sapphire owl. "I don't even think that Lucien knows yet...and I honestly don't know" she admitted. "Amara..." paused. "IF worse comes to worse then I'll help out...honestly Cecilia...I don't think I'll be re-entering this war...I just need to live for me...not for The Night OWLS...not for Moli...but for me...." she said looking away. "Honestly I don't see Amara quitting anytime soon...I could always go to Moli's cabana and raise the child there till things die down...." she said half talking to Cecilia and thinking out loud at the same time.
Amara knew that her sister was happy....and honestly she was excited for the things to come. As she began to close her eyes to take a nap, she heard a loud commotion in the hallways. Opening her eyes she sat up, her door was immediately opened. No wonder she didn't know what was going, the blood UNS was here with those damn telepathic helmets. She couldn't get rest...not one day of rest. Her first thought was her child. Aeon...Cecilia....the UNS is here....if you can...get Aiden...and run for it she gave her instructions. She looked around the room as she tried to figure out what she could use for a weapon. She sent a wave of telekinesis to the UNS members as few of them went flying into the hallway. Where could she go?
Aeon was still conversing with Cecilia when she heard her sister's message to her. Judging from Cecilia's reaction she could tell Amara had reached her. How in the hell were they going to escape? And take the baby? This day had seriously went from bad to worse. "Listen Cecilia, stay here....well you know what I mean...I'll be back as soon as possible" she told her. Trying to focus she projected a nurses uniform on to her body. The affect from just that made her stomach hurt badly...She ran to the nearest trash can and vomited. She would have explained more to Cecilia but she didn't have time.
Aeon continued to walk casually as she saw some UNS members walking the hall. She was actually nervous about the whole thing. Walking into the maternity ward she could see her nephew before here in the glass. He was premature and she was going to take him. She needed a key to open the door...a card key at that. Damnit. Focusing once again she produced a card and nearly lost her balance. Aeon was weakening but she couldn't tire out before she got her nephew and her friend to safety. Sliding the card key she opened the door and proceeded to walk forward.
Amara began to run out of the door as she began to receive looks from the staff. "She's an OWL!!! someone screamed. Amara needed to get out of here but she didn't know how to do it without risking killing everyone here. A violet aura surrounded her as she released pure psychic energy amongst some of the UNS, some took the brute of the force but there was a division of psi soldiers who could not only use psychic abilities but manipulate another's psychic aura. As they focused their own into the energy they had captured from Amara, they released it at the same time. Amara began to run as the energy began to rip through the walls.
If any of the energy was to hit a normal human they would automatically fall into a coma....one they may never wake up from. Alarms began to go off as they continued to shoot their energy towards Amara. She had never seen anything like it...at all.She turned a corner as more UNS soldiers were there releasing a wave of psychic energy Amara was hit as she flew into a wall, laying half unconscious from the blast.
Aeon walked to Aiden DeLeon's incubator as she looked at him. "I sure hate that your first few hours of life is like this" she said to him. Closing her eyes she opened the incubator and took the newborn and wrapped him in a few blankets. She then exited and began to walk forward. For the first three minutes or so it would seem that Aeon would have gotten away with it until she heard a voice. "You...where are you going with that child?!?!?!?" a man's voice could be heard.
Aeon picked up her pace as people began to follow her. She closed her eyes as she erected a barrier around herself and the young child. "She's an OWL...we've got one!!!" they yelled as she continued to pick up her pace. She soon reached Cecilia's room as she closed the door. "I don't have long to talk Cecilia...please...do two things for me...hold the baby....and take my phone...google any place that you can find...please" she said as she handed the baby and her phone to Cecilia. Pushing a dresser and a few chair against the door, Aeon focused on making a barrier behind the door.
The UNS was pushing the door but didn't have any luck at all...but they would eventually get through. Looking at Cecilia she just prayed that the sapphire owl could come through for them...Aeon didn't care about her life...but for the sake of Cecilia's and Aiden's lives...she would do anything to protect theirs.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 05, 2011 10:17 pm
Cecilia was taken aback by Aeon's words. Them? Raising a child? Could they do that in a world like this? She had faith in Aeon, but Cecilia was a Herald now...How would she find the time to balance running a part of the Earth's ecosystem as well as care for an infant, and a premature one at that who required extra attention? Yet before she could speak her doubts, she heard a voice inside of her head. At first she thought that the small Cecilia was speaking to her again and was about to tell her to go away when she recognized the voice as Amara who was speaking to both Aeon and her telepathically. Her emerald eyes widened in fear. Not for herself, but for the others in the hospital and especially for little Aiden. The UNS would spare no lives. The Cosmic Owl knew that she didn't have any clothes so she wrapped the sheet around her and tied it in a toga-like way.
Cecilia nodded as Aeon ran out of the room. She could hear the screams outside. The Cosmic Owl struggled to sit up, biting her lip and holding back her cries of pain. It was hard to move her body because of the stitches and her ribs, which even though were patched up, still caused her a considerable amount of pain. She looked nervously towards the door biting her bottom lip and silently hoping for Aeon to be quick. She let out a sigh of relief when the brunette returned carrying a tiny bundle. Cecilia took Aiden from Aeon as per her request and lightly rocked the baby smiling down at the beautiful child before she shifted little Aiden to one arm and took Aeon's cell phone and began to google some images. She didn't fully understand why, but she trusted Aeon. She finally found an image and showed it to Aeon. "This should be good enough for now," she said as she handed Aeon back her phone and shifted Adrian once again
At that moment, the door was kicked down. Cecilia's eyes darted upwards to see five UNS soldiers, each with high tech rifles in hand. They each aimed their firearms at the two women and the tiny child and began firing their rounds upon her. Cecilia felt the anger, which she held for them bubbling towards the surface before it was unleashed. A shield of gravitational energy was erected in front of the two girls and the baby deflecting the many bullets that were fired upon them. Cecilia stood from the bed, clutching the baby tightly and ignoring the burning pain, which ran throughout her entire body. The fact that they had shot at a tiny infant was what had set the Cosmic Owl off. She slowly approached them. As she did so, they were repelled back by a strong gravitational push with such a force that it shattered their bones and left them screaming in immense agony.
But this wasn't enough for Cecilia. She wanted to make them suffer. Focusing all of her rage on the five soldiers, she caused their arms and legs to become more dense than the rest of their bodies. Their bloodcurdling screams reverberated through the hospital as their limbs were ripped from their body by an intense gravitational pull. Lastly, their torsos became more dense than the upper halves of their bodies causing them to be ripped in half. Blood sprayed from the orafices from their bodies covering the room and the hallway in blood. Rocking Aiden who was now screaming with what could be seen as fear, Cecilia looked at Aeon. "Get us out of here, now!" she called breathing heavily and struggling to calm her emotions for if she didn't then it could mean bad news for Aeon and Adrian as well and that was the last thing she wanted.
Aeon looked at the damage that the new gravity herald had caused. When Aeon retrieved her phone she looked at it. Focusing she tried to project her, the baby and Cecilia away but she couldn't. DAMNIT! she thought to herself. She then began to think as she reached in her back pocket, retrieving her last vial of KIK. Ingesting it she looked at the picture and focused. Closing her eyes, Aeon, Cecilia and the baby began to glow as the scenery around them was shifting from a hospital to a serene environment.
Aeon opened her eyes as they were bloodshot. It seemed that her nephew and her friend were now out of harms way. Her breathing heavier and heavier she looked at Cecilia. "You and Aiden...get inside...I'll be in shortly" she told them as she fell to the ground, still conscious just taking a break...she was drained and within the next hour...she would be completely useless.
As the misty body reformed walking down what at once would have been a bustling street Lucien snapped his fingers feeling the electrical current pass through his fingertips. He glanced to the side as a three members of the Russian army took their aim. They pointed their guns at Lucien and fires. he decided this was the best time to test out his other new power, because they were Russian soldiers and not UNS they wouldn't be armed with the power nullifying darts. As the bullets pummeled Lucien's body he shook violently, the bullets piercing through his body wildly until finally they stopped. Lucien's body fell backwards hitting the ground. His hair covered up one of his eyes, while the other one stared blankly up into the sky. His body bleeding profusely, the soldiers walked slowly towards him their guns at the ready.
"Target down I repeat target down." One of the soldiers called into a walkie talkie.
As they turned to walk away a voice called out at them. "That...Was a very good try." Slowly Lucien's body rose upward as mist began to seep from his wounds healing them in a phantasm of smoke. Slowly his eyes turned their attention towards the soldiers as he stood up from his ordeal. "You're not quite the type of people i would expect to put me down." He shot forward grabbing onto the face of one of the soldiers he shot a powerful current of electricity throguh his body killing him instantly. Lucien tossed the body to the ground before he turned his attention to one of the other soldiers. When another one raised his gun Lucien clenched his hand into a fist the gunpowder in his bullets suddenly ignited turning the gun itself into a powerful frag grenade as it went off it blew the man's hands off as he lay on the ground screaming his blood soaked onto the ground, he was no longer a threat.
As Lucien slowly walked towards the remaining soldier he backed up, tripping over his feet the soldier fell backwards. As he crawled backwards he whimpered slightly under his breathe. Lucien looked down at him, smiling lightly he laughed a little under his breathe. "You're pathetic."
The soldiers slowly reached for his pistol, as he did Lucien whistled. "Oh? A fighter to the e-" He was cut off as the soldier pointed the gun to his own head and fired. Lucien stared for a moment down at the body of the man, eyes wide he clenched his hand into a tight fist. "Worthless! A man weak enough to commit suicide isn't worth the s*** of a dog!" he shouted as he released an acid wash of HCl from his hand which ate throuh the body.
"Good" the voice of Jeannie could be heard. She had seen the whole thing. "IT seems that you have a change of heart Lucien....well I'm not here to lecture...in fact...I think what you're doing is amazing...finally shedding off the 'good boy' act and doing what has to be done" she said in a smooth tone. Walking over to the man who's hand had been blown off, she touched his head as she ran through all of his memories, keeping it on file in her brain she looked at Lucien.
"This road you're willing to travel down will be lonely and people will not understand but from what I can see you realize that already. Unlike the others...I will remain loyal to you Mr. DeLeon..." she said trailing. "I have a list of names of OWLS with special powers just for you Lucien....I cleared it from the mind of that man over there...more powers and strategic moves will put you in the lead of any other person who will try and stop you" she said but she was well aware that Lucien may have thought of this already.
Lucien turned around to jeannie. He felt the wind blow through his hair, listening to her talk he smiled a little, a sly smile. He walked towards her, away from the bloodied carcasses. "You're loyal to me? I murdered one of my old teammates in cold blood. For her power." he held up his hand as the electrical powers crackled in his hand. "What makes you think I won't do the same for your own impressive telepathic abilities?" he asked her. He lowered his hand back to his side, when she mentioned a list of powers he raised an eyebrow. Were more powers really necessary? Look at how many he had now, he didn't even use a handful of the ones he had, it was almost that he had to much variety. "More powers? What else is there? What else do I need? I command the weather, the world of matter bends to my telekinetic will, my body overflows with the powers of animals and I can create any element on the periodic table with just a whim, and to top it off I have the powers of the Death Owl at my fingertips I am eternally young and will live forever so long as I am not killed, just like Che, Dante, Noel, and Thomas. Do I need any more power? At this point it would all be superfluous, mere costume jewlery to add to my ever growing repetoir of powers."
Jeannie walked closer towards Lucien and looked him into his eyes. "I don't know if you will or not....but I have a certain hunch that you won't need my ability...besides...we've grown so close in the last few months...to deny it would be a lie Lucien" she said to him. She decided not to go further with the subject. "Well if you're satisfied with what you have now, I suggest we get moving...there will be more of those UNS traitors arriving soon and as strong as you may be, you still need to rest" she advised.
She then gave thought to what Lucien had said about her impressive telepathic abilities. "I think you gave me a compliment about my abilities...but to whole heartedly answer your question...if you tried to kill me...I'd short circuit your nervous system faster than you could blink your eye" she said in a flirtatious yet sassy tone.
