The wording of some techniques were hard to understand, but it was always easier to have it be shown. Higure hadn't hurt her fingers with the forward grind, but she kept her grip loose enough for the second technique that he would be able to knock it out of her hands if he performed the technique right. "Very good." said Suzume, moving to retrieve her bokken and to look over at her son. Cloud was playing with him now, using the toys and speaking to him in a funny voice.
Moving back to Higure, she said "The next four techniques are a bit more intense. The first we'll work on is a useful technique called Solid Footing. If you practice and learn, then when you are on the ground, it'll be very difficult for anyone to make you loose your footing or throw you out of your stance." When Higure was ready, Suzume would help him train by simply pushing the boy. They'd keep at it until the other kept a solid footing whether he was in a stance or not. When he had learned how to keep his footing, they would move on.
"Next is Thread Walking. This will require a lot of balance." Suzume retrieved strong threads from the storeroom meant for training such as this. She'd tied each end securely to a pillar, so that the light was taut and about four feet off the ground. When it was ready, Suzume would simply jump and land on the thread, using no chakra at all and walking along the thread with relative ease. "Having balance is invaluable, with it you can walk along threads like these without using any chakra at all." Stepping off the thread, Suzume would help Higure onto the threads and be there to catch him as he worked on being able to balance along the threads.
When that was finished, she would take down the thread and set it aside, glancing to her son to make sure he was okay. "The next technique is called Calligraphy. Its a series of fine point slashes and stabs, its to resemble the brush stroke of when someone writes calligraphy. The wounds will be shallow but still painful for the opponent." Setting aside her bokken, Suzume instead drew her own sword and faced the training dummy they would be using. When she was ready, the red head would move fast but still keep her movements visible for Higure to see. Stabs and slices, the movement flowing, graceful and accurate as the dummy accumulated hits. Soon she was finished and stepped aside to let Higure try.
After that, there would be only one last technique in the set for Higure to learn. "Lastly there is the move Extension. It requires one to know how to handle their blade while performing a firm, fast strike. Doing so will cause the air around the blade to become sharp, and it will strike and cut the opponent before the actual blade touches them." With her sword still in hand, she would face the training dummy once more. She would point out the area to strike and have him watch very closely. Her strike would be quick, but if he paid attention, he would see that a cut formed in the shoulder of the dummy before Suzume's blade hit it.
Then she would sheath her blade and step aside to let Higure try.

He watched as Suzume made her strokes and stabs into a dummy. It didn't look like much but shallow wounds always hurt the most. His blade cut into the dummy after the dummy was cut just before entering his blade. Completely worn out, Higure sheathed his blade and sat down. Despite having her focus on her son, Suzume was still aware of her surroundings. The other's cough caught her attention and she listened, waiting until he was finished before speaking up "Are you sick?" The other should not have forced himself to train if he was not feeling well. _ After a well needed nap as well as a change of clothes Yukiko was now ready to continue her training. She peacefully made her way onto the academy grounds with the intentions of completing her genjutsu training. She quickly found a nearby before reaching into her pouch and removing a small scroll. Unraveling the scroll then laying it flat, Yukiko began to read the first genjutsu on her list, Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu. A rather simple genjutsu, but on that could always be viewed as effective as it would create multiple false attackers. In a hast Yukiko quickly read through the genjutsu's requirement missing a few key sections, such as chakra requirements and portion of need hand seals. She stood up and quickly formed the hand seals which she had seen, missing roughly four seals before adding the incorrect amount of chakra in an attempt to activate the genjutsu. [ MS: 1 / 3 ] It only took a few seconds for her to realize that her first attempt had ended in failure. With a small sigh, Yukiko turned her attention back to scroll, reading the first sections which involved the hand seals before attempting it again. She once again preformed the proper hand seals, but only to once again add the incorrect amount of chakra. [ MS: 2 / 3 ] With her second attempt as well ending in failure. By process of elimination her only possible mistake would be the amount of chakra which she added. She looked back to her scroll one more time, reading thoroughly through the section before attempting the jutsu for a third time. Yukiko quickly formed the necessary hand seals then adding her charkra, activating the genjutsu. [ MS: 3 / 3 ] With the first genjutsu on the list completed it was now time to move on to the second, Boufuu no Jumon. This genjutsu would cause the target or targets to feel as well as hear winds coming from every direction. Although it seemed small this jutsu would work as a great deterrent against enemies. For this jutsu, unlike before, Yukiko would have to take her time. To begin Yukiko would read through the section which contained the hand seals. She would practice the hand seals a few time for herself before deciding to move on. [ SG: 1 / 3 ] As she read through to the next section which would be the chakra requirements, Yukiko continued to practice the necessary hand seals. She reread this section a few times in order to insure that she hadn't missed any important information as well as give herself ample time to practice the need hand seals. Once she felt as if she was had gotten the need level of chakra down she was ready to continue. [ SG: 2 / 3 ] Yukiko was now ready to try the genjutsu. She quickly formed the hand seals then added the necessary amount of chakra to activate the jutsu. [ SG: 3 / 3 ] She was now ready to learn her third and final genjutsu, Dokuji no Kaori. This was a rather simple jutsu when compared with the first two she had learned, but equality as important. This technique would cause its target allow the user to cause to smell different scents. This would be very useful for covering ones tracks or possible even detouring enemies from following if the correct scent was utilized. Yukiko quickly read through the jutsus requirement, then quickly formed the needed hand seals and adding her chakra, activating the genjutsu. [ SP: 1 / 1 ] With her genjutsu training now finished, Yukiko would turn her attention to her tai and bukijutsu training. She knelt down, retrieving her scroll before taking out another scroll, this one containing, a list of both Bukijutsu as well as Taijutsu.

He had no knowledge if this genin had friends or other family but the baby got Kyo's attention fast but he just stared at it while Shi sat by Suzume's canine companion to keep an eye on Kyo as well.
It figured that Kyo's personality would make Higure nervous. Sighing, Suzume replied "Don't make fun of Higure. And yes, I've been a mother for a few months now." Turning Shin'ichi around so that the baby could face the Jounin, she added "And this is my son, Shin'ichi. And no, you cannot babysit my son. He's not a puppy Kyo." Honestly, there was no way she would ever consider having the other babysit her son. She could already imagine a hundred things that could possibly go wrong with her son in Kyo's care.
Shin meanwhile, stared back at Kyo, eyes studying the new person in a way that looked similar to how his mother studied things with her eyes.
