[Foxkit fixed her gaze on the little kit that came behind from Ludwig.] ''My name is Foxkit! What's your name?'' [She squeaked. Her thoughts were still fixed on the beating of her heart and the words.] Love! That's it! But, what does it mean? [She asked herself.] I'll go ask Rainface, when I finish talking to Ludwig and the little she-kit.

 [Mosstar nodded at Trouttail, she then turned to Dustmoon and whispered.] "Was a fine cat..'' [She looked down at his injuries, and how grusome they were. What could have done this? Mosstar thought not knowing what dangers lay ahead.]

[He saw Frostfern pad up and say how Trouttail is the better fisher, Desertpaw jumped up.] "NO! Ravenwing is the best fisher! Ive seen him do it!"

_______________________________________________________ [Echosong nodded in approval, remembering the excitement of becoming a warrior when she was a kit. Echosong purred in amusement as she kept her gaze locked on Dustkit.] "You will make a fine warrior, Dustkit." Echosong complimented. [Her sapphire eyes then filled with curiousity, as she faced the beautiful river once more. A small fish was spotted, minding its own business. Echosong glanced back at Dustkit and smiled, signalling with her tail.] "Why don't you try catching that fish then?" Echosong encouraged, smiling gently.

[He asked innocently as he made his way to the river's shore, his paw raised and just about to dip it into the river when he heard Desertpaw defending him.]
"Why thanks, Desertpaw...but Trouttail is only good because our pretty Frostfern is here to teach him how to fish."
[His green eyes twinkled mischievously as he beckoned Desertpaw over to the river's edge with his tail.]
"Ok Desertpaw, why don't you try and amaze Frostfern here with your fishing skills? See that little ruffi swimming towards you? Try and scoop it out with your paw, but be careful not to let your shadow be seen from the water. Patience is the key..."

Dustkit[Dustkit looked at the river nervously. He then nodded and went to the edge of the land. Luckily, he had learned a little hunting from his mother. He listened carefully and waited. His paw then struck the water and came out with a fish. He turned around and dropped it near Echosong, a proud smile on his face.] "My mom taught me how to hunt a little," he said. "The rest I picked up on my own."

I'd tear down the whole forest..
[Frostfern grinned, swishing around her fluffy tail, the late Greenleaf sun warming up her pelt]
"Aw, did wittle Frostfern hurt big, bad Ravenwing's feelings? Don't be fooled by my furry exterior, Ravenwing. Inside, I'm an ice queen, taking out my wrath on little toms whenever I can" she snarled playfully.
[Frostfern nodded, padding up to the lake to sit beside Desertpaw]
"That's right, taught him everything he knows. And maybe, I'll let you in on my secrets" she meowed mischevously.
..just to be with you.

_______________________________________________________ [Echosong watched as the little kit was concentrating hard on the fish. Within a couple of seconds, the fish was right in front of Echosong, impressed with Dustkit. She smiled at Dustkit and purred.] "Dustkit, that was wonderful! Your very intelligent and skilled." Echosong complimented, clearly impressed. "Your mother must have taught you well...and you taught yourself well of course. You must be proud of yourself, you will serve your clan greatly." Echosong said in a gentle tone. [Echosong pushed the fish towards Dustkit, examining the fish's size.] "This is a satisfying size as well...you should have this fish to yourself, you earned it." Echosong said, giving him a smile.

Dustkit[Dustkit purred happily and swallowed it whole. He was happy that he was rewarded for his hard work. All his mother gave him was a nod and a "good job". He had never gotten food for doing something like this.] "Echosong," he said energetically. "Can I hunt with you."

_______________________________________________________ [Echosong nodded in agreement and gave Dustkit a smile, appreciating his company.] "Of course, your welcome to hunt with me anytime. In fact, this spot gets a lot of fishes." Echosong stated in her usual gentle tone. [She looked down at Dustkit and curiousity filled her, wondering about Dustkit's mother and his past. She pushed the thought away, knowing that it's not appropriate to nose around other cat's histories. Echosong spotted a small fish, one that's good for a quick snack. She dived her paw into the water, but the fish escaped just in time. Echosong giggled, knowing that she can always try again. She looked down at Dustkit with a kind smile.] "One thing I learned is that you should always use your claws when striking at a fish, you get a tighter grip." Echosong stated, not surprised if Dustkit already knew that. [She was still impressed with Dustkit's hunting skills, even envied a bit. But she still kept her positive attitude and enjoyed the beautiful river.]

Dustkit[Dustkit went over to the water and waited to see a good spot. He used his claws and stuck them in the water. When he came out, he had a small fish. He sighed.] "This is only small enough to feed a newborn," he sighed.

I do not want the rest of the clan to worry about a danger that we are not sure who the danger is. Be careful though..." She said as she looked at him. Her green eyes matched his for a moment.  Willowpaw sat alone by dustmoon's body. Her heart was full of sorrow. Why? Why did it have to happen? She turned to Mosstar. "M...M...Mosstar... C-Can i s...speak with y-you?" Her voice full of sorrow and pain. Yet, she was desperate to eliminate the threat. Not just for Dustmoon, but also for her clan.

Beneath the moonlight..
[Second in Command: Silver]
[Silver slithered towards the nest of snakes, grinning maliciously to herself. She had watched the warrior die. She had killed him! Oh Fang would be so pleased! As she drew nearer, the sounds of many snakes reached her. From the sounds of it, they were all awaiting her arrival. Slithering under the moonlight, Silver finally came into view]
[The Queen: Fang]
[A hush had fallen over her pets. Fang turned, then smiled in twisted delight. Silver had returned. Lifting her head regally, Fang slithered over to Silver, or her princess, as Fang liked to put it]
"My dear, you have finally returned! Tell me, what has happened since we were last together?"
[Silver straightened out, her eyes gleaming with a proud sheen]
"I killed one of them!" she whispered.
[Fang stared at her, and Silver began to have second thoughts. Did I do something wrong? Dear God! I wasn't supposed to kill him! Uh oh! But then Fang broke into a grin, and laughed, a loud laugh that echoed across the land]
"Did you hear her, my darlings? She killed one of them! This will be easy! Let us celebrate! For soon, the Clans will be no more!" Fang shouted.
[The snakes yelled out in admiration and happiness. Soon, revenge would be theirs! Fang smiled smugly, and began shouting out orders]
"Clover, Flame! I want you to check regularly on their camp. Let me know when someone dies, when someone is sick, just keep me informed!"
[The two sisters nodded and slithered away into the night]
"Rocket! Talon! I want you two to keep an eye on us. Guard us, let us know if there's someone, anything, coming in our direction. Get some other's, so you can trade shifts"
[The boys nodded, grinning to each other. Fang directed her voice to the remaining snakes]
"And as for the rest of you, my dears, you must prepare yourself. Soon, we will go to war!"
..your death awaits you.
