Kero smiles, and tickles her under the chin, gently making her giggle without making her scream.

"You felt something, and reached out and did it, without even thinking about how you do it."

Kero chuckles, letting her nibble on his tentacle, dry and dusty as it was. It tasted like snake, actually, which only made sense, as he was a snake as well.

"Well, sweetie, you can move things with your mind when you want to. Used to be it was only when you were angry, or scared...now it seems you're getting a little more control...you moved that fish with your mind because you didn't want me to lose him and be mad and say many bad words, huh?"

With that, Kero removes his tentacle and casts out his line again, being careful to avoid the submerged log Luna had pointed out to him.

Kero smiles, and gently rubs her back as he gently hooks a fish and pulls it in, setting it onto the stringer and throwing his line out again. The one he caught was a pretty nice size, so he isn't expecting much from the spot, but he knows sometimes two big fish will share a spot, and if the one large bass on his stringer was any indication, there were certainly big fish enough in this swamp. Heck, even Granddad was a pretty big fish for his size.

Of course, that thought belatedly leads Kero to thinking of his own Granddad, that smart-aleck old gar that had taught him how to fish. Briefly, he wonders where the old fish is now, then sets the thought aside. He would find out when he went back to work. And for the time being, his work was to gently walk his little girl through her telekinetic powers.

"So you just thought about moving the fish, and it moved? That's pretty amazing, Luna." he says, as he gently hooks another one. "Think about this one, why don't you...even if it doesn't move, it seems like it gives me good luck."

Nodding, as if to her, Kero picks his little girl up into his arms and cuddles her close as he carries her back to camp, a stringer full of fish slung on his tentacles. As he walks, he talks to Luna as well, his voice low and melodious, soothing to the little one after the long hard trials she had gone through, plus he is weaving a little magic into his words to help with the headache she must have, after trying to use her powers to catch a fish.

"Luna, sweetie, I know you must be tired, but we do need to talk about School, you know. About what is going to happen when you go there, and about how you are going to have to behave. They are going to do things differently at school. There are going to be a lot of kids there, as well. You are going to have to get along with them, and I will be quite frank about it, there will probably be one of them who is just as mean as can be. But remember, he is probably just as scared as everyone else...try and make friends with him."

Finishing his half-sung talk, Kero carries a now wide-awake Luna into camp, gently chirping at her as he cuddles her. Moving over to a log, he arranges his robes and tentacles and sits down, setting Luna on his lap, and looking her in the eyes...Luna notices that, even though he doesn't seem to be trapping her in his eyes anymore, they are still quite beautiful...an emerald green unlike any other.

"Now Luna," He asks, smiling with his eyes, "are there any questions you have for me about school? Or just in general?"

Smiling at her questions, Kero tries to answer them as best as he can, thought a couple of her zingers get him thinking hard, so as either not to scare her or lie to her. After all, he wants his little daughter to enjoy school, not hate it because she was so scared on the first day, and Daddy made he go.

"You will learn all sorts of things there, like how to read and write, and how to count to big big numbers, and why the sky is blue, and all those other neat things. I'm sure you will have lots of fun. Yes, you will play games, though you will have to sit quietly sometimes too. There may even be a naptime, where you have to lay down. I don't know about more dragons, but there may be some there from the Xanthian forest, or perhaps a few others from other places. No, Mama and I won't be there, unless the teacher wants us to come, but you'll have a teacher, and he will be very like a Daddy for you. He just can't spank you." He tells her with a wink before continuing on, "Nimbus will be with Mommy or Enia, or even Granma Lyssan. And don't worry, sweetie. You won't be away that long. Just seven hours every day, less than you sleep at night. And sweetie, be very glad you have a Mommy and Daddy. Luciel is almost grown up, and he does have a Daddy anyways, and he has someone who acts as his Mommy. Lyssan acts as my mommy when I am a baby. So don't feel like you aren;t a big girl just because you want your Mommy or daddy there to hold you. Being scared is normal when something nerw and big comes up."

With that, he picks her up into his arms off of his lap, holding her close and rocking back and forth, his heart beating in his chest and his love for her plain in his eyes.

"But you know what? I know you can face that fear, and show it who's boss. You're my brave, strong little girl. You can do anything, I know you can."

Gently kisses her and hugs her, letting the young dragon know he is her daddy, and he loves her very very much.

Kero nods, and gently tickles her before letting her curl up again.

"Daughter mine, Grandpa Fish will teach you, but not for a little while. For now, you need to go to school to learn how to read and write and count to big numbers. Knowing those things is very important, Sweetie."

"But isn't Grandma Lyssan's castle a nice place too? And you know she'd be really happy to see you too."

Kero laughs, and whispers in her ear.

"Why don't you call call her Grandmama...because she is a Grand Mama, right?"

Winks at her slyly.
