It didn't say she actually had to give a real answer, as long as it was truthful. "Why don't you ever think about possible loop-holes in your showdowns?"

"I however, am not a monk. shade was not sworn to be a monk, Baylor, Sakura, and Miaka know about the code, but they have yet to have it presented to them. the only real monks at the temple are old farts who believe too strongly that "This is not my destiny" like Yinsai always says."
