Unless specified otherwise, you can catch any Pokemon allowed at your rank anywhere. That being said, use common sense, you probably are not going to find an Aron far from the mountains, you're probably not going to fine a Magmar next to lake, ect.

I only took so long because my dad can't install a toilet properly so I have to go in behind him and fix everything.... Ugh, parents...
