Poems never have to rhyme. I can prove it. One of mine got published and it doesn't rhyme all the way through. And hall my other stuff hasn't rhymed lately either.

Time for me to create choas, the time has come for the devils to rise, and for the heroes to fall, for as much as as we love the image of a hereo raising his blood drenched sword in victory, we love it more when it is his own blood that he displays. The time has come for the hero to die, for he has lasted to long and has has grown stachned.

that was good, Azarieal, but the word Wishes knocks it off. it needs less syllables.
like...wants....needs...must..has.
it would keep it on track, and the rythym wont be screwed up.

Hey, you are write about the wording...
And no, don't make that choice, if you don't you can work for paladins and demons... It is more fun to have open ties to both sides of the life.
As for heroes dieing, that is far too common these days.

It was figurative.
They are the extremes of living, and if you can chose to follow whichever path suites your needs, you are more able to survive the trials which devotion can hinder.

He'll probably just find a dead animal to tack to my back door...or my windows. Who knows what he's planning.

I think he has a plan then, and it is most likely going to be finite...
But then again, having th e god who "craved the tears of dead babies to encourage rain" inside your head will make you do some really strange things.
