Rex was glad Amaya picked up the conversation as well. "The entertainment room? Sure." He said, just coming from the cafeteria, but whatever. The only time he'd been in the entertainment room before was when he stumbled upon Awen. Oh, Awen... Rex only knew that she was alive thanks to Avery, but he missed his manta, his last memory of the girl in a fluster on the morning of his change.

Rex started to make his way towards the town hall with the other two, then made an attempt to ease Alec's question, "Ping pong? Gosh I haven't played that in so long. To tell you the truth, I don't know if they have a table or not. I doubt it." his attention had been afixed to a tv screen and a crying Avery last time he was in that room, Rex didn't recall seeing one though.

The girl started walking as well, her pace at some strange swagger as her tail moved from side to side behind her and her long toes curled a little with every step to keep from hitting the ground.

"I know they have videogames and movies though." She chimed in.

Alec dragged his feet into motion to keep up with the two, pulling out a cigarette and beginning a furious rummage for the lighter in his shorts. "Ah well, i' figures." He smirked as the cig hung from his lips, now reduced to turning his pockets inside out.

"D'ye know what they're turnin' ye in'teh?" He looked up at the felinesque man as he fell in pace with him, finally able to successfully locate his lighter to put it to use.

The tail flailed a bit at the recognition of the animal within him, Rex was glad that there was another person who appeared to be comfortable with the changes. Suddenly, he didn't feel so alone anymore.

"The animal? Ahh, I'm not exactly sure, but as this girl mentioned," he tossed his head in Amaya's direction, "we're guessing it's a lion." Rex slowed his pace slightly so the other's could keep up with his long strides, it was a problem he'd grown to ignore. "our only hint to the change is m'tail." The tufted stalk wiggled once more, partly on Rex's will, though mostly on it's own accord.

Amaya seemed to go into short bursts of silence, something that hadn't happened when she first arrived here. But recently she had been finding talking to much to be a hassle, something telling her that it was better to just stay quiet and not jump into other's conversation.

They got to the entertainment room, the lizard opening up the door awkwardly with her large hands. "Here we go."

Alec skipped a step in his uneven strides, flicking Rex in the arm in a burst of excitement. "A' lion! Lion's are fookin amazin' man, fair job!" before he could ellbaorate further on his adoration for the lions he'd seen on tv as a child, he noticed they had reached the entertainment area. He skidded over to the doorway as the entrance to the room was reached, peeking over Rex's broad shoulders to peer inside. He gave a loud hoot when he noticed the xbox in particular.

Rex held the door open over Amaya's head, chivalrously insisting for the others to enter the game room first. "After you..."

Rex's pent up excitement about his change suddenly exploded out of his mouth, "Oh gosh, I know! I'm really excited about my change as well." He fumbled over his words towards the end of his sentence, remembering Amaya's feelings about the changes. "Though it isn't all rainbows and butterflies. Changing hurts... alot." He followed the others into the entertainment room, chuckling inwardly at Alec's loud exclamation.

Amaya walked into the room and then blinked in surprise, green eyes trailing back to the lion. She had no idea he was so gungho about it.

"Well, nice to know your excited about it. Keeps things positive for ya." She wasn't really mad at him for not hating such a thing. If anything, she was glad he found positive in it.

Alec sped forwards into the room, eyes passing right by the stack of books and magazines as if they were as useless as a haircomb to him. He instead made a sprint and flying-leap onto a nearby couch, making sure it was near the tv. He sprawled out further, uncaring of his muddy boots as he located a controller for the game console. "Ye, gotta make sure there's somethin else t'make this place suck more." He mumbled to Rex in reply of his "painful transformation" comment, turning the controller in his hands as he looked at it.

Rex wanted to say "Yeah, I wouldn't want it any other way." to Amaya, though for some reason saying that seemed out of place to the tall man. He was glad that she wasn't defensive or angry at him for his opinoin on the oh-so-touchy situation on the island. "It's hard to explain my true feelings. Changing really... intrigues me... though I still think that what Moreau's doing s'wrong." There. It was out in the open for people to know. Rex liked the transformations. He'd learned that from pain came knowledge, and with knowledge came strength. "Why not make the best of what y've got to work with?"

Rex shrugged, slowly astarting to feel that it was okay to be different, even if others didn't agree with him. He approached the enthusiastic Alec with a wide grin, "You're a gamer?" he thwatted Alec's leg playfully and sat down on the couch next to him.

The teen let Alec shoot passed her, slowly making her way into the entertainment room.

"I wouldn't mind it nearly as much if the people he grabbed were volunteers. I try to make positive of it... but it's hard to find good in it after awhile." Amaya was probably refering to how far along she was. No hair, relying on sunlight to keep yourself going, eating nothing but veggitation, loosing your skin, and most importantly... the little things in your appearance that told you she came from her parents. Now she looked nothing like them.

The reptile walked over to the couch they were both sitting on and paused for a moment. How was she to sit on something that had a back? Slowly she climbed onto the arm of the chair and sat on it, her feet curling around on the cushions and her legs drawn to her chest a little. Her tail hung off the side, brushing the ground.

Alec reluctantly slid his legs off the couch cushions, allowing for the lion man enough room to sit as well. "Not realleh." He mumbled and snickered, unable to recollect the last time he played one of these things.

He tried to withhold any more questions regarding the transformation, intentionally ostracizing himself from the conversation. He'd slipped quickly from an ever-curious mindframe to one of 'don't know, don't care' in a short amount of time, it seemed.

"Mmm.." Rex hummed confirmingly to Amaya's statement. A new question arose in his mind, "Has anyone come to the island willingly? Like, knowing about the injections and stuff?' Froom what he could gather, everyone had wound up on the island one way or another, though the only one he could think of who actually really liked Moreau was Lauren.

He glanced back to Alec, making himself comfortable on the couch, "No? I played for my first time a few weeks ago. And basically... I got my butt kicked." Rex laughed and kicked his feet out in front of him.

"Not that I know of." Amaya responded as she reached down and picked up another Xbox controller from the floor. She had been a rather liesurly gamer, though from the looks of it that was shot out the window.

The bulky controller sat entirly in her palm. The only way she would ba able to play would if she tapped at the bottoms with her fingertips with it rested on her lap or something.

"A' might have a chance then." Alec smirked, playing the innocent as he wondered what games they had to play in this place. He fidgetted to get more comfortable, ash falling from the cigarette he still held between his lips inconsiderately onto the cushions.
