'Home', the word kept circulating through his head, echoing within his skull. The truth was that Aiden no longer had a home, not after he was taken away from his home at a very young age. Aiden had been killing conscious beings since before he was old enough to drive a vehicle within the human world.
Aiden, with the idea of a home in his head, was tired of looking at the sky. Looking up at the sky reminded him of the forest where he grew up. So the lycanthrope sat up, wrapping his arms around his bent knees. Now his honey colored eyes were gazing at the filthy water.
"I do not have any reason to stay in New York. But I can stay if I wish to." Aiden began to reply as his eyes wandered. "But something inside me is asking me to give it a chance."

Sibyl turned to look at him, though not in his eyes, briefly as she spoke her opinion on the matter. Clearly she was blunt, thus being honest as she claimed she was though really she'd proved nothing to Aiden about her honesty. She had never lied, though, for she had no reason to and if he chose not to believe her then that was his choice and she would not argue to attempt to change it. Most humans or former humans did not believe her when she told them the fact and figured it was a false claim of hers but she knew better.
"If you can stay and your instinct is telling you to try this out then I think you should stay in New York. As I said, if you need a place to stay the pack has plenty of apartments or you can just bunk out at my place until you get one of your own. There's ... something odd about this city that seems to capture many people. That's probably why this place is so big, after all."

Aiden moved his chin closer to his already bent legs, resting his head on his knees. The lycanthrope slowly closed his honey hues, he took a deep breath and pondered on the woman's words. The whole idea swimming through his head.
"Maybe you are right," the man whispered back as his eyes opened once again. "I think I will stay for a while." The man hid a small smile behind the barrier of his legs. He decided that he would live his own life, like his brother was probably doing. His brother was done with taking orders and even though Aiden would still be taking contracts in the city, he was doing what he wanted to do.

Upon hearing that Aiden was going to be staying in New York she felt his decision was a good one and her instinct assured her of that. She then decided that she would invite him into the pack since the pack was pretty low in numbers and the members were few and far between. There were so many of them that she'd lost track of and she couldn't help but wonder where Ceon had gone off to and why Razu had killed himself. At the very least she hadn't taken Razu's death as harshly as she had when she thought Ceon had died since Razu took his own life from himself.
"Well so long as you're staying here are you wishing to be a part of the pack here in the city? There's not even a real official way to join, you basically just become a part of it but I figure it'd be nice to be invited so you aren't wondering if you're intruding. Are you needing to find one of those ... hotels, yes, one of those? Or do you have a temporary residence here or are you needing somewhere to stay?"
The woman looked up at him, the moon gently gleaming across the water as well as Sibyl's form as she sat in the moonlight. Her lavender eyes seemed to sparkle with the light of the moon reflecting off of them and the contrast of the light purple with her cinnamon flesh tone was interesting to say the least. However, as the wolf looked up at the sky once more, as she laid there without a coat it became apparent that on her left arm there was a horrific scar and if followed the trail of the scar lead all the way up to her neck.
Out of no where her stomach rumbled its protest, reminding her that she was hungry. Instead of smiling sheepishly she casually stood up and looked over to Aiden while stretching. "I'm hungry so I'm probably not going to hang around here too horrifically long."

Still deep in thought, Aiden gazed straight into the long horizon. His chin was still resting against his knees as he heard the woman's offer to join her clan. He did not reply to her offer. He did not know if he really wanted to be part of a clan, he had not been part of one since he was fifteen. Neither did he have a real place to stay, he had a small alley that he found that was uncommonly dry.
But Sybil's movement broke the bubble in which the man had been floating on. When the woman stood up, Aiden turned his head up towards the woman. He smiled softly at the woman's smile. "Mind if i join you?" Aiden asked softly as he effortlessly pushed himself to his feet.

Sibyl shrugged since she hadn't figured the lycan would want to follow her around since he seemed the type that kept to himself. Most assassins seemed to be the types that didn't need a lot of social contact and preferred to keep to themselves or so she'd been told by numerous people. She didn't hesitate in uttering her response at all and barely had to formulate the response before she was speaking again. "I don't mind at all, are you hungry too?"
Quite suddenly Sibyl appeared to grow heavily uncomfortable and she instantly tensed up. Without saying anything she began to awkwardly hobble away as hastily as was possible for her.

Daiguren walked down a dock then jumped over to another. Looking around through the ships and stock that made up the scenery of this place. Hearing other a way behind him he stepped of oh the dock his feet pushing off of the water he moved to the farthest dock from the voices. Humans were becoming more and more annoying to him, but he wanted to kill badly but he had no idea who's death called him to wonder around the city like this.

Aiden gently pushed his feet to stand up, fluidly moving his arm to grasp the case's holder. The man would sooner forget to breathe than his briefcase. The interior of said case held very important items for the lycanthrope, so he needed to make sure they were unharmed.
As soon as the man stood up, he noticed another scent swimming in the chilled air of the harbor. There was another presence around, but suddenly it drifted farther away. It seemed the person went to the other side of the docks or just flew off. What ever the case, they should get going.
Before he could say anything, he saw the woman hurry back to the city. So the man quickly turned towards her and walked after her. The man walked behind her, maybe half a step faster than the woman because he wanted to catch up with her.

Kensington stepped off the cargo ship, followed by his bodyguard Jack. They had just returned from Britain.
3 months ago they had received message from the Ordo Noctis Eternus (O.N.E.) that they should book passage to England as soon as possible. The tone of the letter suggested that something was very wrong back home.
Kensington and Jack had left on the next ship bound for England, a week later they had anchored in Liverpool, where a messenger from the Ordo Noctis Eternus greeted them with dire news. The Lycans had bombed the O.N.E. HQ during daylight hours; this had resulted in the destruction of half the Council, who had perished in the sunlight. The other half had been badly injured but had survived.
The bombing of the O.N.E. Council signalled the beginning of a new campaign by the Werewolves to try and eradicate the vampires from British soil. The attacks came as a surprise and many vampires had perished. Low on morale and getting short of numbers the vampires needed to strike a hard blow back and establish a defence.
The main stronghold of the Vampires was established in the Scottish Highlands, where they had their archives, large caverns built into the hills and fortified over many years. It was here that Kensington rallied the defence whilst the remaining council members formed their plans for a counter attack.
For the next two months the Vampire’s fought a war of attrition with the Lycans. Slowly but surely they drove the werewolves back to a point where they could begin to relax a little. Kensington had presided over every major engagement with these vermin; his will alone would have been enough to drive them back.
The council recognised the efforts made by Kensington and when the fighting began to die down and the Vampire’s began taking back what was theirs, the council bestowed upon him the title Protectorate Marshall. When the council’s security and safety was assured Kensington was free to return to his post as Ambassador, but should the situation deteriorate again, he would return and take charge of the O.N.E. forces.
For now Kensington put all that behind him, he breathed the damp sea air, sighed and walked towards the awaiting car, his butler Hibbsworth was stood by the passengers door.
‘Good evening sir.’ Hibbsworth said bowing.
‘Good evening old friend.’ Kensington replied, ‘It is a relief to return, I’m happy to say things have calmed down back home. But for now I just want to rest my weary bones, it has been 3 months since I slept well.’
‘As you wish sir.’ Hibbsworth said as he closed the car door after his master. He and Jack got into the front seats of the vehicle. A moment later they were speeding along the New York roads, heading for the Vampire Coven.

Olathe had finally decided to come back to this forsaken city that was a graveyard within itself. No need for a cemetery when the city itself had become a battleground though it was quiet places here and there but for the most part she could hear the suffering and cries of those recently deceased. The spirits were not at all pleased with the outcome of the humans’ recent discovery and they were crying for something to be done. Of course, they weren’t accustomed to a wolf being able to see them or one that actually listened to what they had to say which happened to be exactly what Olathe was doing. Some stuck their tongues out at her and made rude gestures and she simply shook her head and informed them that she was a seer and could, in fact, see and hear them.
Once informed they were being watched the spirits’ ignorance was quelled and the wolf was able to make her way in peace. She continued forward until she came to rest at the docks where she had been the last time she was here, the scene of the woman appearing in front of her and comforting her still rather vivid in the broken-hearted wolf’s memory. All she wanted was her mate returned to her, it was innocent enough, wasn’t it? Of course she knew better, that there would be some unspeakable compensation expected and seeing as she had no idea what it would be she could never take such a risk. And yet all it would take was a simple snap and the woman would be here …
Instead of thinking of such ridiculous things the elder sister chose to seat herself at the edge of the docks in a similar fashion to how her younger sister had here before her. Yes Olathe was here for Sibyl but she was also seriously contemplating the words of the strange woman that’d approached her, hugged her, comforted her temporarily. Such thoughts were dangerously tempting to toy with but she’d brought a buffer with her. A more youthful form travelled behind her as she’d walked and when she’d come to rest at the edge of the docks the shorter form paced behind her and his uneasiness summoned the slightest hint of a smile to the elder sister’s features.
Fallan couldn’t believe Olathe had managed to convince him to do this. This place was absolutely overwhelming, the scents, the sounds, the sights, he was taking it all in and it was completely boggling his mind. It was all he could do to maintain this camouflagued form and blend in as he was supposed to. This would be his first time out in the real world, his first test to see if he could truly survive amongst these magnificent beasts. He was certain excited about the first time experience but it was also quite tangible, the unbalance that’d manifested itself within this city. It made it hard for him to simply stand still and wait about.
He wasn’t restless simply because the city itself was, there was certainly more reason than that. The young wolf could sense his eldest sister’s inner turmoil though he knew not what it was about other than it was something that made her sad. Sibyl had told him that the death of their sister’s mate had changed her but he had no for sure way of knowing if this was what his eldest sister was contemplating. Numerous times the younger wolf had attempted to distract his sister by attempting to play with her but she’d rejected the offer and he’d been left to find another way to console her but so far he had not been successful in his contemplations.
Instead he decided to think about his other sister who had been willingly driven away from the pack or more so she had voluntarily left the pack. While his father had been extremely disappointed and angry with her, Fallan could not be for he believed his sister was following her true path. Perhaps it did not present her or anyone else with meaning yet but he was certain she would play a role in something important. It seemed that it was her destiny to fulfill something important though the elder’s stories and prophecies could have been about any wolf. He liked to believe his sister was safe and that she was taking part in something greater but he knew Olathe would think him foolish. She’d told him that the only thing she forsaw in this city for their sister was her demise, something Fallan was intent on preventing.

The wolf sitting at the edges of the docks seems to perk up when she senses two other presences within the vicinity though these presences are different than that of the spirits', they are living. She becomes curious but decides not to meddle in the affairs of others since many humans tend to become antsy when someone else, a stranger, comes into their picture. Often out to prove their strength and that they were the best, Olathe, during the centuries had come to think a little less of them than she had as a pup. Of course, she could not judge all humans by a series of encounters with a few humans. However, humans of all races seemed the most compelled by greed and fortune and when possessed by such a spirit they eventually became willing to destroy even their own kin to get their way.
She felt much safer amongst the wolves, amongst her pack members who were all loyal for if they happened to have any issues they were raised and the resolution was a fight between the two that disagreed with one another. It was simple enough and at the same time it was so effective. It kept the pack together and all the wolves worked as one. Everyone was encouraged to have voices but they had to be prepared to defend their opinions if they happened to clash with the interests of others. However, for the most part all the members were pretty pack-oriented and wanted nothing more than what was best for the pack as opposed to themselves.
Fallon became horribly restless and soon began more than just pacing back and forth. He started jumping onto crates for a better view of the place and he also began picking up various debris such as wood or rocks and chucked it into the water to see how far he could throw. He was about to go disturb his sister's thoughts when his ears caught whiff of a fight and his nose also smelt blood. Of course this excited the wolf and soon enough he was darting off like an excited puppy, almost all of his training forgotten, being much too overwhelmed by everything around him. It was a sensitory overload and it was absolutely amazing though it caused his adrenaline to rise, which also caused him to think far less.
His instinct called for him to prowl toward the blood and no sooner had he caught the scent had he taken on his beautiful tan and black coat, in search of the source of the bleeding. It didn't take him long to locate it and he realized that one of the cold ones were here. The excitement of the challenge of a vampire in a city versus a vampire in the nature quickly overtook him and he charged toward the vampire with amazing speed though it lacked the grace that either of his sisters possessed. It was a clumsy run that wasn't necessarily planned to accomplish anything though he did desire to sink his teeth into the blood sucker.
The wolf covered the ground between him, the hunter and the vampire within a few moments and soon enough he found himself almost face to face with them. The excited wolf leaped and tackled the vampire to the ground and began viciously attacking him, his survival instinct now kicking in and having him fight for his life. Once the young wolf's instinct kicked in there was absolutely no turning back and he began ripping the vampire apart, dead flesh in mouth. He didn't seem to take notice of the hunter that stood beside him at all and didn't seem at all concerned for his well being. After all, the hunter could attack him at any moment for all he knew but the young wolf was far too engrossed in his kill at the moment, focusing on the more direct threat.
No sooner had she turned her back on her brother had he run off in anticipation of a fight and some excitement. Naturally it was to be expected of a young wolf that was visiting the city for the first time but even so it was quite troublesome. However, she recalled that Sibyl's reaction had been similar though she'd encountered one of the human's domesticated dogs and started a riot because it'd become cross with her, sensing she was not what she appeared to be and became aggressive. Sibyl, being a wolf reacted the way that was expected and killed the dog before it could attempt to harm her and marked her territory as her own though luckily no one had been around and the dog had been off leash, escaped.

As James was in the heat of battle with this fiend a werewolf leaped into the battle. It took the vampire and started tearing it to sherds. James stood there taken back by the sight and also by how he was lucky it didn't take him by the neck. But he soon turn to run out of the beast's area.
James put his axe back in its holder, but he keep his sword in the other hand just in case he need to use it.
