Pru stood at the top of the stairs, glancing down them tentatively. Was it okay to go downstairs by himself? Deciding that, since it felt right in his head, he would. The elven boy made a slow decent down the stairs and gazed around the room. He knew this room. There were the couches and the end tables. And yes, the bar that he sat on top of every day. Getting more comfortable, the fragmented robot walked over to the bar and sat down on it, bringing his legs to his chin.

Ever had awoken to a sleeping Pru, and had gone to shower. Now, as he returned to their room, it was empty. He headed to the stairs, and with quiet feet, skipped down two at a time. Looking around, he smiled. "Good afternoon, Pru." Ever greeted, smile content, and arms crossed, as he walked cross the room. Plopping onto a stool, Ever nodded appreciatively. "I see you've found that place comfortable, as usual."

Pru scooted closer to Ever and nodded, "I know this room." He said, gazing around it once more. "It's really really vivid in my mind." He said. He sounded a little older, but still appeared pretty fragmented. "I know your name." He said, "Ever." He confirmed, locking eyes with him. "And I remember stupid Itius." He added, scrunching his nose.

Ever laughed softly, and gave a sound nod. "That's very good, Pru, dear." he said, with a happy smile. "How're you fairing?" he questioned, while tucking a long leg underneath him, and letting one of his wings flutter, as his rested uncomfortable agaisnt the bar.

Pru shrugged, "Sometimes I have trouble remembering how to move, but basic things work." He said, then glanced at Ever's fluttering wing, suddenly entranced. He leaned forward, resting one hand on Ever's shoulder and the other sliding over the dark feathers. "So pretty..." He mouthed, absolutely enchanted. He fluffed his own feathers, which were still molting as natural feathers replaced artificial. The overall effect was not exactly something one would call 'pleasing to the eye'.

"I like them." Ever said, his wing moving into Pru's touch. "Ah, but yours are on their way to beauty, too. Molting is never fun." he said, reaching back to run his fingers roughly over a dark wing, and pulling out a loose feather. Holding it out, he let fluttered it to tickle Pru's nose. "Ah-ha.." he said, quite amused.

Pru gasped in delight and sat back on his butt, giggling. "Nn! Ever! Stop it!" He cried, covering his nose with his knees. "It tickles, silly!" He added, resting his hands on his head. He parted his legs just long enough to blow a short raspberry before closing back up in his little ball.

Ever exclaimed into a fit of giggles, as he saw Pru's enjoyment of it all. "You'll never escape me!" he teased, reaching over with the feather, and protruding to his ankles. "Ah-haaa!" he claimed, like an evil villain, as his smile was wickedly happy.

Pru squealed and tried to slide away from the feathery attack until his back was against the wall. "N-No!" he pleaded, as Ever mercilessly tickled him. He tried to push the other boy away until he suddenly stopped and went very rigid. He didn't move for a very small moment, before remembering that it tickled a lot and started to laugh again, "Eveeeer!" He whined as if nothing had happened.

"Fiiiiine! But, you will remember the day that the evil Prince Ever has defeated you!" he exclaimed, reaching over to stick the feather quite prominently behind Pru's elven ear. Smiling brightly, he nodded, before plopping back into his seat. "Fantastic, dahhhling."

Pru crossed his arms and stuck out his lower lip. He reached up for the feather and almost threw it on the ground in protest, but its softness caught him off guard. He ran his fingers over it and slowly brought it to his cheek. It looked like he was trying to bring up a memory that wasn't there yet. Slowly, the memories of Caradoc burying his face in his lover's wings slipped into his consciousness. Pru let the feather slide out of his fingers and crawled along the bartop to get closer. He hopped down from the bar and slowly ran his cheek along one of Ever's wings as if trying to make the memory stronger. A cold shiver of adrenaline shot down his spine, but he didn't know why yet. Touching Ever felt more than wonderful... but why?
