Like the little ducky he was, Baizou scrambled to his feet and followed Ellie inside, "Hug me, kiss me, say you love me?" he proposed, kissing the back of her pointed ear gently. "That should be a good way to thank me." He murmured, unable to stop smiling, today.

Caradoc was in quite the panic. He screamed as sparks shot from the outlet and singed the skin around his plug. He pulled at the plug furiously, but it was stuck quite well in the malfunctioning wall. "Nn! Ever! Tomo! Someone help!" He cried, eyes starting to water in pain. "s**t, s**t, s**t, s**t," He chanted as he pulled out his utility arm and started to unscrew the faceplate off the wall, shielding his eyes from the sparks as he did so. He slid the plate down along his cord and took a closer look. He was able to locate where the plug was jammed and frantically pulled at it. He felt a painful spark shoot up his cord and into his body, sending electricity short out his limbs as it went. Finally, it reached his motherboard and everything went black as the elven boy collapsed. Power to the Demented Muffin shut down completely, setting the whole building in darkness.

Siren peeked her head out of Rose's room, one hand on the little girl's head. "It's okay, the power's just gone out," she said to the girl, removing her hand. "I'll go check it out." She stepped out of the room, Rose following close behind.
Rose's current annoyance with Siren evaporated as the girl kept close. She accidentally stepped on a loose board and the squeak frightened her enough that she practically jumped onto Siren, who jumped in response to being jumped on. "S-Sorry," Rose whispered, climbing down, but kept her hand twisted into Siren's shirt.

Ever looked up from teh food he was preparing, eyes looking around the dark room. Instantly thoughts of electricity and problems shocked through his mind. Hopping over the bar, Ever sprinted for the stairs, and into their room. Peering through the darkness, he found the culprit wall socket, and looked at his Fiance on the floor. Hand clasped to hsi face, Ever hopped to the ground, and pulled the boy into his lap. "Caradoc? Hun? Love?" he questioned, following the plug to the wall. With careful fingers, he pulled it out of the socket it'd gotten jammed into, and wondered if perhaps Tomo could flip the breaker and restore them light. "You alright? C'mon.. Come to, come to.." he beckoned, eyes watery, as in his arms he held the man he loved.

Siren heard Ever's footsteps and followed in case he needed help. "Is everything okay?" she asked from the door frame, Rose peeking around her leg. Their were-tiger made it possible to see, but it was still hard to make out details; the scent of charred skin gave both a pretty good idea of what had happened.

Caradoc's eyes slowly opened as he laid limp in Ever's arms. They were pupiless and wide, glowing through the dark room. "Unexpected shut down." He said in a low automated voice. "System restart. Please wait..." He continued as his body made loud charging noises. "Unexpected error: Several data files appear damaged or corrupted. Files will be inaccessible until repaired or deleted. Would you like to delete damaged files?" He asked. He was PRU-03, now. Caradoc was elsewhere. Probably locked away in some file until his body repaired itself.

Ever blinked a few times. "N-no!" he exclaimed, voice clear, as he looked down at Pru in his arms. "Pru, do you know which files?" he asked, as he blinked to Siren and Rose. "I dunno, I think Caradoc has shorted out.."

"Shorted out?" Rose asked, tilting her head. She looked up at Siren, hoping the older her knew what was going on.
"Means he overheated," Siren said. "You'll learn all about that in a few years. Where's the fuse box? We at least need some light to figure out what went wrong."

PRU-03 continued to scan his own body, sending files to be repaired and salvaging others. "Scan complete. Switching to alternate backup, now. Please wait." He said before going limp in Ever's arms again. He blinked a few times, the pupils in his eyes returning quickly. "Aah!" He cried, clinging even tighter to Ever. "Why's it so dark?" He cried, covering his glowing eyes with Ever's shirt. "Where am I?" He asked.

"Ey, ey.. Calm down, I'm here." he comforted, nodding to Siren and Rose. "I believe it to be downstairs in a panel on the wall by the sofas." he said, cradling Pru in his arms. "You okay, then?" he asked, not sure if he was quite the Caradoc he was used to.

Arlen (for purely humorous purposes) had been enjoying a hot shower when the power went out. Frowning awhile at the darkness, he finally let out a loud yelp when the warm water ran out soon afterwards. Grumbling all the way, he dried and dressed before stepping into the hallway, calling the Azure Glare into his hand and illuminating a good portion of the hallway around him.

Siren nodded and looked at Rose. "I know it's useless to say this, but stay here, okay?" she said, before turning and going down the hall. She almost ran into Arlen and yelped out an apology before walking down stairs and towards the box. After fumbling with the switches, she found the correct one and flicked it on, not before closing her eyes so she wouldn't be blinded.

Pru looked up at Ever and stared for a few moments, not exactly sure why. "Are you a grown-up?" He asked in a juvenile voice. He didn't much like the dark, but Ever knew how to keep him safe from it, so he must be a grown-up. "I'm Prototype Repair Unit Three, but mamma calls me Pru for short." he introduced, gazing up at the other elven boy, not seeming to realize he was 5'7" and was half dangled over his arms.
