Caramel Kisses digi734 Caramel Kisses Lord of Armageddon digi734 Lord of Armageddon So tomorrow I go down to Texas for a week. .........yay? Be careful, you might catch a Southern accent down there. That's what I'm worried about. It's not so much the state, but the people living in it that bug the hell out of me. Hey, I'll tell you a joke my friend told me: How many Texans does it take to aid a retarded person? Answer: None. They don't aid him; they lynch him. D: I live in Texas, nyu. Well... you're not in the Texas part of Texas, right? A good bit of Texas is cities and college towns. You hafta go in the reaaallly country areas to find people... like... yeah... Well, s**t, that's exactly where I'm going...

Last time I went to Texas two years ago, my family and I went to this church for the Christmas Eve service. Everything was going good until the pastor (or "preaching, hypocritical, holy-man ********" as I was calling him a few days after the service) went off on his soapbox and starting preaching about the evils of homosexuality, abortion, gay marriage, rock music and other s**t....and RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY 10-YEAR OLD COUSINS. I was so ******** pissed that to this day, I've always tried to make an effort never to go to church again (something I've failed in doing so because my family is more religious than I am and they always found some way of coercing me to go, much to my dismay). It was that, combined with various other things, that made me lose complete faith in organized religion and abandon religious faith.

I'm not surprised that you thought of him as a preaching, hypocritical, holy-man ********. Also, this is the kind of stuff that gives Texas its reputation.
