nah the pronounciation should be the same but it depends on how you pronounce it razz
sap = "a" as in father
sei = sorta like "say" but shorter.
and then there's the matter of tones >.> Ehh if you really want to know I'll tell you later.

Qyp ellreka The Ghost of Xmas Awesome Come to think of it, I learned that from XXX-Holic during that scary story telling episode. They all light candles and tell these lame fake stories, until it gets to...what's his name? The main Kid who's a paper thin reincarnation of Clow? Ummmmmm I wanna say Kimihiro? Anyway his last is Watanuki. Any way, then Watanuki tells a scary story that actually happened to him, where he was standing at a four way intersection and a strange man dressed suspiciously like the millenium earl strolls by... come to think of, he's dressed very much like my avatar. Any way, the man scares him somehow, and so he goes really fast to the next intersection... but ends up meeting the man yet again. It's really creepy because in these two meetings the man just seems to be ignoring him, walking on the cross way right in-front of him... but... He runs as fast as he can to the next one...yet there the man is again. It's one of the few moments in an anime that gave me goose bumps, because the man didn't really have pupils before. His animation style was more vague, and he seems much more docile, until the third one where he's more sharply drawn, and he's got pupils, which are staring directly at you. Yes you, the audience. They mention that had he met the man 4 times at four cross roads, he may have been...well...even more real, and the kid wouldn't be alive to tell about it. Also that there are no hospital rooms marked 4 in Japan. They skip it. XXX-Holic was full of stuff like that. It's a very weird show about about all those sorts of Japense superstitions, kind of like a less intense Japanese version of Super Natural, if you've ever seen that show. I still to this day don't quite get the title though... It sounds like someone who's addicted to porn or something...ya know, XXX-holic? Doesn't it?! eek ah....just like how theres no number 13 floors 3nodding cause 13 is obviously a really horrible number in society.....for some reason..... Other Fields: -There are traditionally thirteen steps leading up to a gallows. -Apollo 13 failure. -In some countries, the number 13 is considered unlucky and building owners will sometimes purposefully omit a floor or suite so numbered. The fear of the number 13 is called Triskaidekaphobia. See also... - Friday the 13th occurs when the thirteenth day of a month falls on a Friday, which superstition holds to be a day of bad luck. In the Gregorian calendar, this day occurs at least once, but at most three times a year. Any month's 13th day will fall on a Friday if the month starts on a Sunday. So really, it's all from some unknown superstition... Also, baker's dozen is 13, and it was a baker who caused the fire of London in 1444. (That I knew for ages...) Religiously, 12 is said to be the number of completeness. You always see in some mythologies, and such that there are "12 gods of Olympus" "12 Apostles of Jesus". There is also a superstition, thought by some to derive from the Last Supper or a Norse myth, that having thirteen people seated at a table will result in the death of one of the diners. 13 is probably also unlucky because 1+3=4. So someone had a sense of humor way back when, and then all of a sudden it turns into death... It's also considered unlucky, well Friday the Thirteenth, because the entirety of the Knights Templar where wiped out on that day.

I suppose that is just a coincidence, but superstitious people over reacted... -shrugs-
Honestly, I do not believe in luck... I would OWN a black cat, smash and mirror and walk under a ladder all in one motion.

I would OWN a black cat, smash and mirror and walk under a ladder all in one motion. i own a cracked mirror, my cats all have a tinge of black in them and i havent walked under ladders yet but members of my family have fallen off one XD

Ok, so I'm planning to do some Genjutsu training with either Shinu or Hattori, my new Sun character who's awaiting approval. My question is, how should my chacter train for it like in character? I get the system for training, I have that down, it's just that well genjutsu is different then training for a ninjutsu or taijutsu.
Actually that raises another question how exactly could my characters train for ninjutsu? Would it just be practicing any ninjutsu or what?

You don't seem to get what I'm saying Qyp my friend, I understand that, I understand how to train for something in this game system. What I don't understand is how to RP it. for taijutsu training you'd rp your character practicing taijutsu and such correct? Then what do you do for ninjutsu and genjutsu since they are more complicated and on top of that my chacters know no genjutsu to start with. How do I earn those first genjutsu points I need for even the simplest genjutsu?

I suppose you do need someone to teach you the basics, like the elemental ninjutsu training.
Well, actually, did you do any chakra control training? How did you RP that? It would be similar.
