"So, I take it those kiddos are yours too?" Akila asked, chuckling a bit to herself, as though it was a joke. "I might be a bit more suspicious if they were older, you know. But I guess I can understand if Bakura had a bit of a fling. Did he feel bad for you? Is that why he agreed to chain himself down?"

Rei sighed "Your just as stuborn as bakura arnt you? No We love each other thats why he staid with me..." she felt the back of her head. Feeling a few chunks of glass she pulled them out. Once she did the blood started gushingagian "Oh crap..."

Rei sighed "Yes please. I dont feel like bleeding to death." once she wraped herhead she would go find bakura.

"Yeah, yeah, no one wants to do that." Akila said, getting to her feet and wandering off to a different part of the house to find rags she didn't need anymore. Bakura stirred when he heard footsteps, and glanced up uninterestedly when he sensed someone standing over him. One hand went to his knife, but before he could pull it out the other person had grabbed his wrist, squeezing tightly and making him drop it, after hearing a sharp crack. Growling, he got to his feet, facing the other person, glaring intensely. The other person was someone who Bakura thought he should know, but couldn't place his face right then. He had the typical bronze skin of any Eygptian, but had blonde hair and pale lilac eyes that seemed to have no pupils to speak of. His hair stuck up at odd angles, unnaturally. Where did he know this guy from? Mariku couldn't help but investigate when he saw a certain someone snoozing at the town's well. Upon closer examination, he realized that what he saw was the real thing; Bakura, the self-proclaimed 'king of thieves' was here. What an idiot. Any person would be interested in the golden bracelets and anklets the 'king' wore, and most people knew about the rewards various people of authority were offering for his head. Not that Mariku was after either, of course. He could tell as he approached that he was stronger than the thief, but he wasn't sure if he could overpower him. He tried to break Bakura's wrist, but the other male had pulled away and gotten to his feet before he could.

Once she was given the raggs she wraped her head"Well im going now" rei said and hurried out of the hut before another word could be said. She headed twards the well hoping to find bakura.

Bakura could, indeed, be found there. He was currently in a fist fight with Mariku. Anyone watching could see that he stood no chance against such an opponent. unlike his modern self, this Ishtar was clearly more buff, and more used to physical fighting. Mariku had just tackled Bakura from around the waist when Rei came up. Once on the ground, he happily sat on Bakura's chest and began to punch him repeatedly in the face. Right fist, left fist, right fist, left fist... It was beginning to become a nice pattern for Mariku.

Seeing this rei ran up and hit the Istar hard in the neck. Shoving him off bakura she growled. "Bakura you awake?" she asked hoping his was still consious. She was hoping she had knocked the blonde out,she hadent been paying enough attion to where she was hitting.

Bakura was unconscious, but Mariku wasn't. He grabbed Rei by the scruff of her neck, laughing. "Aww, look at the cute little kid come to save the day. You do know that this guy is a thief, right? He's supposed to be spooky." Mariku grinned, twiddling Bakura's knife in his other hand. "I just wanted to see if he was really as tough as they all say. I must say, though... I was rather disappointed."

Rei growled "Im far from a child. And your much bigger than him you idot." Rei kicked him in the inside of his kneecaps making mariku fall over. "And dont touch me." she said kneeling beside bakura checking for a pulse.

"Oh, sweetie, he's still alive." Mariku said, still laughing. He went over and knelt besides her. He prodded at Bakura's chest, grinning like a demented child. "I never actually expected to see him in real life. Did I mention how disappointed I was?" Bakura cringed at Mariku's touch and rolled onto his side before opening his eyes. He reached up and wiped the blood from his face with his sleeve, but otherwise didn't seem to do anything.

"Yea you said that. You can shut up now" Rei said. She used her free arm to help bakura up. She now completely ignored the blonde wanting to get bakura inside.

Bakura yelled out when Rei helped him up, and then sank back to the ground, one hand to his chest. He didn't know why it hurt, he was having trouble remembering. When he found a pair of lilac eyes peering up at him curiously, he recalled his fight with the blonde. Had his rib been broken? It certainly felt that way. "Think I cracked your rib. Sorry." Mariku had stayed on the ground when Rei had gotten to her feet. Mariku didn't see any reason for Bakura to remain angry at him, and Mariku himself wasn't angry at Bakura. He grinned foolishly. "Hey, your highness, I can carry you if you'd like."

Bakura shook his head, keeping his eyes on the ground. "No... I can manage on my own..." He said, gingerly prodding his chest, trying to find out how much it hurt. He cringed violently, which made it hurt even more. He was trying to find out a way of getting up and saving his dignity without it hurting too much. "I can tell you're the stubborn type." Mariku didn't mind so much that they were ignoring him. He could snap the woman's neck if she tried to kick him again. Getting up to his feet, burshing dust from his clothes, he bent down, grabbing Bakura around his waist and hauling him up. Mariku normally would have just slung him across his shoulder, but decided that might cause more pain. He instead held Bakura bridal-style, still remaining cheerful. Bakura hugged Mariku-- or so it would seem. He wrapped his arms around Mariku's chest, but dug his fingers into Mariku's back, his fingernails piercing the skin, and he bit down sharply on Mariku's shoulder, to prevent from crying out. Mariku laughed mildly. "Don't worry, I've been hurt there a lot more than what you're doing. Where's the house you're staying at?"
