"ARLEN!" Lily screamed, eyes wide and horrified. What the hell? she wondered to herself, going to the window to peer outside before she ran to the door and exited, finding the two outside.

triforcel413 Tynan pulled his hands out of his pockets as he shrugged gazing out the window. "I guess it can't be helped. I try honestly I do but-"By now Arlen's trembling fear had burned it's way into a anger. "Damn you!" he shouted slipping away from Lily and charging at the man. Tynan turned to face Arlen just as he was hit, and they both went crashing through the window. Tomo walked outside, aware of his daggers on his person. "I believe my wife threatened you with pain had you not lived up to being as true as you said you were." He announced to the intruder, "If it weren't for current maternal circumstances, I would have to threaten double."

Kaen followed Tomo, her teeth bared. she sent to everyone, a low growl starting in her throat. She lowered herself on her paws, ready to pounce on the stranger.

"I see," Tynan said standing and brushing himself off as Arlen struggled to his feet. "Even after this long without food, you can still move that quickly." He gave a cursory glance aorund to the others. "I have no intention of fighting you, not today at least." he announced.
Arlen didin't bother brushing himself off, wearily he reached behind himself for his dagger, but he knew it would be ineffective like this. "Damn you," he muttered again.

Lily watched, eyes darting back and forth between the two men, wide and frightened. "Arlen..." she murmured wearily, then hugged herself, fighting the urge to go to him, fearing she'd only be a distraction.

Kaen twitched an ear back towards Lily. she said just to Lily, making sure her mental-voice was filled with warmth to comfort the girl.

"Don't be so hasty," Tynan chastised Tomo and Ender. "If I die, the boy will suffer a long and painful death. Imagine starving to death when food is all around you."
"b*****d," was the lightest of the obscenities he spat at the man, but after a week without food he hardly had the energy to do anything else.

Lily sent back, then bit her lip. Then she looked at Tynan, frowning. "You know what's wrong with Arlen then?"
Vincent snarled when he and Ukaia arrived, quickly asessing Lily's state before anything else. Then he glared at the man he'd seen at the door, sure that he was somehow behind his younger sister's distress.
