He looked like a young man that just lost its family. While his glove glowed blue, he walked outside to sit under a tree. Once he sat, he took out a book that he was given from his father before he went to the academy. He never opened it yet, so the book is still new to him. he drew his sword and laid it next to him. He opened the book and he started to read.

While reading, he got disturbed. He looked away from the book, and he found out that it was just a flock of eagles. Nothing to worry about. A small breeze came and his hair shook a little. The paged flipped to a different page. When he looked, he saw his ancestors. The leader who started the Huedini clan. He studied some stuff about him, then closed his book. He stood up, grabbed his sword, and started to take a walk around the academy with nothing else to do.

Honehime watched as Sakazuki ran off, just as Shuku had returned. Was there some limit on the number of people allowed in the clearing? She moved over to Shuku when she heard the Mayonaka ask what had happened, and tried to summarize what had actually happened while she had been gone. It wasn't easy, mostly because she wasn't precisely sure herself, several things had happened that she just had no idea about. But she did her best, explaining Mei's return, and the subsequent incident with the strange sphere and Sakazuki's equally strange reaction.

Lieselotte frowned a little as she watched Sakazuki storm off, disappearing into the woods. She seemed very tense, and that was proven when a loud crash, and equally loud follow up crashing was heard. Looking in the direction the Circe had went, she rushed to follow, and just in time to see the tree Sakazuki had felled falling to the ground. She moved closer, hesitant to make her appearance known, but wanting to make sure Sakazuki didn't do anything too rash or impulsive. So for now, she would just continue to watch, and lend an ear if need be.

Mei looked a little sad when Sakazuki first protested about the sphere, but then looked even more sad when the Circe stalked off into the woods. Was the ball really that bad? She hadn't wanted to make anyone sad, especially not as much as Sakazuki seemed to be feeling. Should they destroy it, would that make the Circe feel better? She nearly punched herself in the head at not thinking to ask before tossing the ball. Of course she would have had no idea how strong Sakazuki's reaction would have been, but even so! She should have known, should have asked.

Zenia had just about gotten comfortable, when Sakazuki and then Lieselotte both left the clearing, heading off in another direction from her. Frustrated, she very nearly sighed aloud, but managed to hold it in. Slowly getting up, she prepared to follow, moving stealthily, slowly, silently. Of course, she wouldn't have to for that moment when the tree was struck, she probably could have shouted and nobody would have heard it. She wouldn't, of course, but she had bigger problems to worry about. Such as dodging that incoming tree. It wasn't too close to actually hitting her, but even just close was too close.

Melona only smirked as the two attacks came her way. Was her opponent really that much of a beginner, or were they just unprepared? Or, like her, were they just playing around? She leaped nimbly backward to avoid both strikes, and then rushed in again, to toss a medium strength punch at Menace, to try to knock her off balance. It wouldn't hurt, at least not really. She was tempted to use one of her special moves to make things more 'interesting', but decided to hold off on it for the time being. There would always be time to do something like that later, after all.

Alice listened to Airi's words, silently admitting to herself that the scythe wielder was right, that even being Queen she could only do so much to regulate things like that. It didn't mean she would give up, certainly not! But she would at least try to think of another solution. When Airi shifted her posture and asked if she could fight, Alice sighed and shifted her own posture. Spreading her feet a little apart, she readied herself. Even though she hadn't said it, she knew what Airi really meant. "And it happens once more. I suppose you feel it too? The urge to fight, almost like you are-" Her eyes widened at that thought, this slowly growing urge to battle inside of her. The last time she had felt it was against another Queen's Blade contender. Could it be? No, it had to be a coincidence.

Sakazuki took a deep breath, then sat down on the tree that she had chest felled, her gaze on the ground. That gaze however, soon moved to the hand that she had used to punch the tree. Though she had some destructive power in her fists, the fact that the jutsu she often used to boost her strength was currently still in a state of cool down. Though she was strong, felling a tree of that size was something that could wound even the Circe as she set a hand on her first. It would definitely be bruised within a few hours, and the witch began to wonder just how many bones in her fingers had been broken just now.

Taking in Honehime's explanation as best she could, Shuku still had the exact same confused expression at the end of the conversation that she did at the start of it. Yet, she let out a soft 'I see...' before she looked at the path Sakazuki had taken before her gaze then fell on Mei. "...Any idea what those balls actually are yet?"

Watching Alice for a moment, Airi couldn't help but smirk. By taking up such a posture it almost seemed as if the girl was challenging her. Though it was when Alice spoke that the maid's expression finally took one of interest. "Of course I feel it," she said quietly as she smiled then looked towards the blade of her scythe, watching her reflection stare back. "...As I too, am a warrior. The hunger for conflict dwells within me as well." Though the feeling she spoke of probably wasn't the one Alice had in mind, Airi knew the exact same feeling as well... While Airi wasn't quite aware of what exactly, this feeling was, she concluded that it was something instilled within all the participants of the Queen's Blade tournament to drive them to fight against one another.

The fist made contact with Menace's cheek as her head jerked to the side, her body following suit, the sudden shift in her body wait causing her to topple over. The blow however, didn't hurt too much. Personally, Menace felt as if she had been slapped in the face with a high speed water balloon that hadn't popped on impact. Menace managed to keep herself from collapsing against the floor as she supported herself with her arms. The brass flaps that had just barely covered the top have of her chest hanging flimsily for a moment before the Imohtep got back to her feet, gravity shifting it back down into place.

Perhaps going on the offensive was not the best way to fight this woman?

With that, Menace took another stance, but this time, took no further action.

"Mehh... maybe I can look at it later Mei-san?" Kuroshika said flicking an eyebrow upward as with a flick of his wrist he sent the small bi colored ball spinning in the palm of his hand and with another deft motion popped the ball up into a lazy arc over towards Mei. Looking left and looking right, his vision fixing on the source of the loud thump, Kuroshika gave a roguish smile. "I'll go make sure that wasn't anything sinister," with that he leaped clear across the clearing into the branches of a pine tree, wait a god damn minute... was that right? Had he just cleared the whole clearing in one jump? There wasn't too much time to contemplate this as Kuroshika vanished into the boughs of the tree heading in Sakazuki's direction. A few tree jumps later he was standing not directly above her, but a little bit behind. "Hmmm... I feel bad for the boy who says something wrong to you," Kuroshika dropped down letting his vest flare out a bit as he dropped. "Looks painful... anything I can do to help?"

After doing her best to explain the situation to Shuku, Honehime moved back toward the center of the camp. She didn't really have anything to do now, and felt fairly sure they would not be setting out for some time yet. So she began moving about camp, doing what she could to complete at least some of the tasks that would need to be done before they would finally leave. She really had no idea just how they were getting delayed so much. This quest for the mandragora, it should have only taken three days. Now, it looked to be more like weeks. Perhaps they should send someone back to buy some basic supplies, if they were going to be spending that much time outdoors.

Lieselotte had been surprised when Sakazuki had aburptly punched the tree. She had been much more surprised when the force of the punch had actually knocked the tree over. If that was her normal strength, then it was a good thing the two of them had never really fought. Something like that was a bit beyond her normal scope of options. Shoving that line of thought out of mind, she moved a little closer, until she was standing a few feet behind Sakazuki. She still didn't say anything, though. Just stood and waited.

Mei still had a look of dismay and confusion on her face when she raised her head to look at Shuku. She shook her head slowly, her ears flopping back and forth with each swing. "No, not really. The book called them 'pokeballs', and said by throwing them at someone, they would help me get really close friends. But I don't think it worked. This red thing is supposed to scan them, maybe it will tell if it's broken?" She had no idea that the ball had worked, as it was supposed to, in a way that she couldn't possibly conceive.
When Kuroshika suddenly asked if he could take a look at it later, and tossed it to her, Mei tried to catch it, going into an impromptu and clumsy juggling activity and just barely managing to catch the small sphere. When she looked up, he had already jumped away, somehow clearing the, well, the clearing.

Zenia moved closer, waiting for each step to coincide with a gust of wind or a creak of the settling tree. She probably didn't have to be quite that careful, but there was no point in taking pointless risks or chances, after all. She could see Sakazuki and Lieselotte clearly now, although they would probably not be able to see her. If the opportunity to make her move didn't make itself known soon, she would have to make it happen on her own. She didn't like that option, it wasn't nearly as good of a chance of success as the waiting option, but she was running out of time.

Melona smirked again when she saw Menace stumble to the ground and slowly work her way upright again. She bounced a little, hopping from foot to foot, her ears and chest going through much the same motions. Finally, when it looked like her opponent was ready, she rushed forward, to try a simple tackle, to plow right into Menace and drive her to the ground, crash against her and send the both of them into a sprawl on the dirt. She moved quickly, but if Menace was ready, she could probably dodge the full frontal attack.

Alice frowned a little and shifted somewhat out of her battle stance, moving a hand to tap her chin for a moment. Airi hadn't admitted being a part of the Queen's Blade, so it just had to be a coincidence. And if that was true, then she didn't have to fight her new friend, did she? But if so, then why was that feeling getting so strong? Why did she want to fight her so badly? She frowned again, and lowered her hand to lay loose at her side. "So what now? If we both feel it, does that mean we have to fight?"

Sakazuki's head turned slowly towards the direction of the voice above her. The last thing she wanted was someone peeving her now with stupid outbursts, much less, the reason that was now unable to use any ninjutsu other than her bloodline. "You wan't to start something, Kuro?" Gone, was the happy go lucky, fume loving Circe. The ball had definitely done enough to put her in a foulest of moods. Even if he had offered to help, Sakazuki was in no mood to deal with mortals.

Filthy, avaricious apes... She had come to find them bearable over the years, but being trapped within the ball reawoken a buried hatred for the mortals... Those which had enslaved her so long ago.

Shuku blinked. Randomly throwing balls at people didn't seem to be the idea way to make a friend. Had Mei misread the book? The Mayonaka decided that she had better take another look at the manual as he held out a hand towards Mei for a moment as she gave a nervous smile. "May I take a look at the book, Mei? You might have misinterpreted one of the instructions."

Airi paused as she looked at Alice. She had hoped to merely diffuse the situation just like that, but it seemed that the driving force within Alice was stronger than the maid had thought. To that, Airi sighed. There was no way around it all then. "Perhaps a little fight might help quell that feeling," she admitted as she then raised her scythe, gripping it with both hands now, giving even the French Maid a rather menacing look to her as she loomed over the little girl now.

"Do you accept my challenge, little Alice?"

As Melona charged her, for a moment, Menace panicked. She had been anticipating another punch, or maybe a ranged attack, but a full on tackle? She had not expected Melona to have been so bold! Before the thought of dodging occurred to her, Melona was already directly in front of her. Menace felt as if the wind had been knocked out of her, several drops of spittle swaying into the air as she soon felt her back make contact with the dirt floor with Melona on top of her. As a pained gasp escaped her, her staff rolled away somewhere out of reach.

Now she was unarmed and position- wise, Melona also held an advantage. This was not good. At this, Menace did everything she could to attempt to free herself, bucking her hips, writhing and in an attempt to somehow be able to 'pull the reins' on Melona, her hands reached for the girl's hair. Hopefully they were not the type to merely slip out of her grip.

"Hmmm... not particularly, but hey whatever helps you blow off steam."

Kuroshika shrugged smiling with his head tilting to side, he didn't particularly seem to be in a fighting mood, but whatever seemed to be possessing him didn't seem particularly worried.

"Though with your hand like that I don't think your in much shape to start anything of your own. Maybe we mend it and see if you still wanna "start something", we can go as long as you wish after that, just don't hurt the poor forest."

His eyes were hard appraising yet and unflinching staring at the raging Sakazuki's form. His lips curled into what seemed to be a crooked smile, teeth visible in the dappled light that filtered down from above.

Honehime looked around camp once more, to see if there was anything else she should work on while the others dealt with their own problems. She felt rather isolated, but it didn't bother her too much, she had spent years feeling that way, after all. Oh sure, when someone needed their fortune told they would try to find her and talk to her. But aside from that, everyone always stayed far away, like they were scared of her or something. It was a rather lonely life, but it was the path she had chosen for herself.

Lieselotte looked up when Kuroshika bounded in and announced his presence, then her head whipped back to look at Sakazuki once more surprised by the venomous tone the Circe used. She was pissed! She took a half step back, but otherwise didn't do much. She had no intention of forcing her presence on Sakazuki, but neither would she let a member of her group go off alone again. That had led to all kinds of trouble before, she didn't want to have to go through all of that again. So for now, she would just watch and wait. She turned to glance at Kuroshika as he responded to Sakazuki's threat, wondering if the two would really try fighting now of all times. Both because Sakazuki's hand seemed injured, and because it hadn't yet been twenty-four hours since she had used that technique from before.

Mei nodded when Shuku asked if she could take a look at the manual, and dug it out of her pocket where she had unceremoniously stuffed it earlier. It wasn't a huge manual, maybe a hundred pages, with several devoted to pictures, diagrams and more. Mei hadn't been able to follow a lot of what the manual referred to, but Shuku certainly would. And once she had, the reaction would be something to see. For what Mei took to mean special friends was actually something more like sexual playthings. There was much more to it than that, though.

Zenia was glad that she had stayed where she was, if she had moved forward even a few more feet, Kuroshika might have stumbled upon her hiding spot. As it was, he was too close by far, so she began to slowly creep away, sidling over to another side of the new gathering. The Circe's strength had surprised her, she would definitely have to keep that in mind, if a fight ended up breaking out. She was no slouch herself, but a fight misdirected was a fight avoided, and that just made things so much easier. Which made her job easier, and that was a good thing.

Melona smirked down at Menace from her position straddling the Imhotep, and raised a fist as if she was going to bring it crashing down in a punch on the near defenseless young woman. But before she had a chance to follow through, she had to hang on as Menace began bucking and writhing, almost making her feel like a cowgirl riding a bucking bronco. At the same time, Menace's hands shot up to grab her hair. Her hair, which took the form of hands to cover her chest. She let out a gasp of shock when those hands were pulled away, revealing her chest to the audacious Imhotep. She grinned cheekily at Menace, and returned the favor, flipping up the young woman's brass coverings.

Alice frowned a little, she knew there was no way out of it at this point. Even if the two of them were to just up and walk away from the fight, the idea would be there, waiting, growing in strength until finally they would have to fight for real. Better instead to have a quick, minor skirmish now, maybe get it out of their system, and then try to move on with their plans if at all possible. So when Airi asked is she accepted her challenge, Alice only nodded solemnly, before going into an offensive stance. She wished that she would have remembered her weapons, but they were unavailable at the moment, which meant she would largely have to rely on her tail whip.

"I'll beat you to a pulp with one hand, Kuroshika."

With that, the Circe rose to her feet, her undamaged hand forming into a fist why her wounded one hung at her side, as if it had already been declared as useless. I'll pound you into the very earth, you filthy, pig- headed ape. It was evidently that the girl wasn't thinking rationally now, but that hardly seemed to be the point of this moment as she glared up at the alchemist now, then she looked to Lieselotte, briefly, as if just realizing she was there before she instantly classified the girl not worth her trouble for the moment.

Kuroshika was the issue. Not Liese, for once.

"Get down here. Now."

Taking the book, Shuku frowned for a moment. Already, the cowgirl had managed to bend the paperback a wee bit. How disappointing... The Mayonaka, it seemed, was rather fond of literature. In fact, she was quite fond of stories, particularly the one of the girl and the Rabbit's Hole... But, now as not the time to think of that. She had an angry Circe and now she had to discover what it was that had made the girl so agitated. Thus, she opened the book down the center, bringing her to a random page halfway through the book. Instantly, she was greeted by the picture of a woman, a nude one at that. Yellow hair caressed her head with equally yellow ears poking out from her beautiful locks, her face twisted in one of pure euphoria as her arms were wrapped around the neck of a man who seemed to be pressed quite close to her as they were bound by the hi- without a word, the Mayonaka shut the book, a flustered blush now coating her cheeks as she stared at the seemingly innocent cover of the manual.

"Friends, you say?"

As the women separated, Airi took a deep breath. So they would fight after all, it seemed. As Alice took a stance however, the maid paused briefly. Did she not have any more weapons to draw out? Only that vicious tail? Suddenly, this battle didn't seem quite as fair in the eyes of the Servant as she took a deep breath, then with a sudden vertical swing, she brought hers scythe down onto the ground, it's blade embedding itself within the concrete. If Alice was going to do this unarmed, then so was she.

Evidently, the tail did not register as a 'weapon' in her mind.

"Good luck, Alice- chan."

Without another word, she dashed forward, her hands lashing forward, both wishing to wrap around Alice's head. If they succeeded, they'd keep her noggin in place before pulling it down, into a vicious rising knee.

A momentary, startled gasp came from the Imohtep as her modest bust was then shown for the world to see (thankfully, the rest of the world still seemed to be asleep), yet she still seemed focused on her opponent. The gelatinous woman had probably wanted her to gasp and squeal at the sight of being caught without covering... But oh no, Menace wasn't about to give her that satisfaction. However, Melona's gasp made a vicious smirk appear on her face then. Had she gained the upper hand? Gods, she hoped so.

She looked up to Melona as their glares met, Menace keeping it in place almost as if it wold mean another lost challenge if she dared break the eye contact between them. Her hands however, were just as busy as ever, though they now had a new target as the launched forward, viciously snatching that which the hair- hands had just barely covered moments previous. Then, she squeezed. Oh, how she hoped they'd just pop like balloons...

Seisan walked into the Academy, and the first thing she did was blush. She say another girl with her shirt almost completely off, show her bust and all that went with it. She couldn't help but to stare, so she closed her eyes and walked past all the commotion. She sat down at a desk and opened the book in front of her. She took out a piece of paper and started to write down what was important to her in her studies. She silently peeked over her book to see the fight, but again returned to her studies. There wasn't a teacher in the room, but Seisan wanted to graduate as fast as she could so she could go train in her clan to become even stronger.

Seisan started to scribble down all of the steps in detail on how to do the Henge no Jutsu. She constantly looked up t see if her sister, or the fight, had come or developed something new. She thought her sister would come in today. Maybe she would, maybe she wouldn't. She was quite unpredictable. "No matter" Seisan thought to herself. "I'll just get a head start on her!" Seisan stood up, and made a handseal, while reading the steps she wrote down in precise order, and form. Seisan closed her eyes, and started to focus on her chakra. "Here we go..." she thought. "Henge no Jutsu!" and she was surrounded in a cloud of smoke.

Seisan coughed, and waved her hand in front of her face trying to get rid of the cloud of smoke. "Why does there have to be smoke? Why not a flash?" Seisan said, but for some reason she sounded, different. She sounded, like a man. "YATTA!" Seisan squealed, but in a rough, manly voice. She ran over to a mirror and looked into it. "Yes, yes!" She had completely transformed into Iruko-sensei, even with the scar. She was so happy, she jumped into the air, raising her arms and pulling in her legs. Then suddenly, she was enveloped in another cloud of smoke, transforming back into her old self.

"Yes! I can't believe I did it! I can't wait to show Yuzou!" Seisan was so giddy, she was speaking in a flurry of words, who most wouldn't have been able to catch because she was speaking so fast. Seisan had her fists up to her shin, and she was smiling, with her eyes shut. She quickly jumped once more, and seemingly in mid-air, dashed back to her seat to read some more of the book. "What else can I learn?" She wondered as she flipped the page. "Bunshin no Jutsu? Let's give it a shot!" So, Seisan grabbed her brush again, wiped it across her ink stone, and started to write down more notes, this time for the Bunshin no Jutsu.

Seisan looked with bright eyes at the pictures in the book. There were people creating literal clones of themselves out of nothing. She smiled in wonderment and awe at the pictures, and copied them down as best she could, along with detail instructions on how to stand, what amount of chakra you should use, and what should be going through your mind. "How does someone remember all of this?!" Seisan said, writing down step after step. "This would kill someone if they didn't take notes, like me." Seisan smiled at her pleasant complement of herself, and kept writing. She looked to her left, through a window, and saw some Genin practicing their clan techniques. Oh, how Seisan wanted to become a real shinobi.

Seisan stood up, and walked over to the window. She looked outside, completely consumed with the two genin practicing. She could tell one was an Inuzuka, and the other was an Murasame. They were trading on and off, landing the occasional blow, but ultimately doing no harm to each other. She was glad students from across the world could come to this particular academy to get started. It allowed them to interact with other clans and people, and learn more about each others cultures. Seisan shook her head, and turned back to her studies. She had gotten distracted. She looked at her paper, and made a hand seal, and closed her eyes. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" And a cloud of smoke appeared next to her.
