Zachary T Paleozogt Went to Austin Books and Comics to day for there Marmoreal Day sale. 50% off select trades and back issue comics. buy one get one free Mangas (also had a buy 5 get 7 free, and buy 10 get 15 free) Went there and picked up the back issue of Zot 6-10 (sadly they don't have 5, only one missing crying ) If any one new a site where I can find a issue I'm looking for let me know. Already tried Ebay and Amazon with no luck. Comic Collector Live saves the day!Not only a great place to get comics online, also a fantastic program for comic archival. My LCS over here is having a big anniversary sale next weekend too. Same deal, pretty much - 50% off back issues, buy 3 get the 4th free on trades. Makes me wish I didn't spend so much at the FanExpo. Than I remember that I spent most of it at my LCS's booth and that they had the same sale on, and stop caring. I'll probably go anyways and spend money that I definitely can't afford to.

Sweet deal Nick, thank you! Well I found an Artist to co-create a comic with me. His name is Black Wilkie or Tecraccoon on Deviant Art. http://tecraccoon.deviantart.com/He says he has had work on things like coloring the comic Perhapanauts, the art on some card games for upper deck, Grimm Fairy Tales - Hansel & Gretel, and some other things.

My daughter is now 4, and i've been waiting for her to start the endless questioning stage that kids are known for. Unlike other children instead of asking endless questions and asking "Why?" over and over again, if something happens that I expect such questions she'll go on in depth about a conversation she's over heard about that subject, and shock the heck outta me.
I have gotten the normal questions of; "hey where the sun go?" and "hey why are the stars in the sky?" (Which takes me no more than a minute to explain.) but I did not expect my daughter coming up with the mind boggling question of, Mommy, are you a hot dog? Is Kai-Lan a hot dog? Paw paw, are you a hot dog?
The endless Hot dog questions continued for 30 minutes to a point where i proceeded to grab a package of hot dogs out of the fridge and used them as a puppet to explain what a hot dog was and where it came from.
She ended up laughing and continuing in the endless Hot dog questioning of ridiculousness.
rofl I must say parenting is never boring. rofl
(true story.)

Over the weekend, there was a barbeque at a friend's place, and as such there was a bunch of people over to partake in the fire-cooked meat. Well, since Halloween is coming up, another friend and his wife were going to throw a Halloween costume party, with the theme being "villains". Now, the wife is a big Batman fan, so the consensus was that it'll be a Bat-villain party. Well, since not everyone can be Harley and Ivy (and I guess no one has the guts to try Catwoman, moral greyness aside), somebody asked if there were three female villains aside from the aforementioned.
Everyone looked at me for the answer. lol
Yes, I came up with three. More than three actually; but that's entirely beside the point.

This Co-worker of mine, old guy, tend to ask me about somethings comic related. Like If I read d**k Tracy or Little Abner.
It was really funny when I once Got this Doctor (not sure what kind of Doctor) back into reading comics. I was in the Hospital Lab and I load a Issue of Avengers: Initiative to one of the lab tech there (who was kind of into comics) This Doctor read it and was amazed on how comics are. She said she Quit about the late mid 90's, I think. So I told her about the Dissemble, House of M, Civil war, WWH, plus I got her into Invincible, Dynamo 5, and Noble Cause. I mean she was so into it she jumped way ahead of me in the Trades to Invincible, she was telling me stuff from vol 8 when I was still on 4. sweatdrop

Well I turned 22 today. Yay for me! But since today is a Thursday, I figured I'd hold off any celebrating till this weekend. What I have plan thus far is just going to Peter Pan min-golf (an Austin Fav) then after that going to Brick Oven for dinner. So far my younger brother insisted that I open one gift from him. Mainly because it was Empowered vol 3, and the cover and back might raise, shall we say, question amongst my parents. So he figured it be better to open it with out them around.

EEEE! heart I log in during a break and find an gaggle of new catfishes for my aquarium! Thank you, they're adorable!
Meanwhile, still a wilin' away the hours towards Finished Art. I think I'm getting some kind of reputation for fast turn around times. What makes that funny to me is that I'm generally a slower artist, it's just that I have the ability to work for 16 hour stretches without stopping.
Congrats on the jobiness, Bart!
