I understand what you mean. My dad ended up buying a motorcycle recently so he can save on gas money. I think part of it is because he's also always wanted a Harley. ninja He had a motorcycle before this one, but had to sell it before he moved up here. He's as happy as can be now. I swear he babies the damn thing. It is cool looking though. Almost makes me want one of my own.

Hawaii's up to $2.80 a gallon I believe...gas prices are high everywhere, even Texas where they're usually a bit lower. -shrugs-

I'm considering stealing my daughter's bicycle for when I go snorkeling. It's not just the U.S either. My friends in Alberta are complaining about gas rates too (especially galling for Albertans, as we make the *&%# stuff!)

I know gas is just ridiculous. Katrina and Labor Day weekend aren't helping, so I went ahead and filled up today and threw some gas treatment in. Ugh, at this rate it'll be $5 a gallon in no time. gonk

That's true, but we live a good 45 minutes away from everything we need to get to. It's a nice area to live in because the kids never get away with anything. There's always some one here to tell some one's mom or dad what you thought no one saw you do. xd Life here is good that way.

I don''t know. I just know that the gas prices are getting rediculous. Some of the gas stations in here have been getting in a lot of trouble though. They''re breaking the only two laws we really have when it comes to gas and it''s just sad.
They''re not supposed to raise the price more than once in a 24 hour period. I''ve heard of some trying to rise it 2 to 3 times within 24 hours. They''re not supposed to surprise a person with a higher gas price when they had pumped at the lower gas price. As in when you pumped your gas it was $2.80 and it suddenly jumped up to $3 they can''t charge you $3, but some gas stations have been trying to do that. It was on the news that if they do that you''re supposed to call a complaint number. I forget what it is, but yeah...it''s just plain stupid.

Eh, happened on 9/11 up there too and there were a bunch of lawsuits. Nothing new, sadly.
Well, guilds are down until Tuesday at least. See you all around!

My friend's boyfriend is 18 and whines like that. gonk So annoying!
That said, I'm in BC (Canada), and gas is about $1.20 Canadian right now. My mom said she saw gas for $1.30 the other day. I don't drive, thankfully, but a lot of people are complaining about the high gas prices, though I guess it can't be helped due to the hurricane and everything.
