 Meridan smiled and said, "Well, than lets get to the cafeteria before the good stuff is gone...". Meridan wanted to eat with Ashlynn and was already having a great time. He then took her hand and ran towards the food court.[Post at food court now...]

What will it take to make or break this hint of love?
Only time, only time...
She could only look up at the gates of Ria High, her expression one of curiosity and wariness. This would be a whole new experience for her, coming to a school such as this. Hana had not been to a proper school since being in elementary school. After the fire that had taken her family and her home, she had used inheritance money to get private lessons and be home schooled. It had always been a one on one experience, and she did not have much experience being around other people. This, unfortunately made her rather shy. She didn't mind being in large crowds, but the moments someone would try and make contact with her, she would just freeze, not knowing what to do at all. This was a large disadvantage for being at a school such as this, but she hoped she could adapt and learn what to do. She slowly stepped into the school grounds, passing the school gates she had spent so long staring at. This was it; this was the beginning of a whole new life for herself.
She gave a contented sigh, happy to have finally been able to break free form her bonds that held her down and kept her unhappy for so long. What new things would be in store for her here at the school? Only time would tell.

The weather today was cold. Walking up the sidewalk to the school in the distance. Ria High. Finaly im there. I wonder how many people here could accept a Vampire / Wizard with a dark past? Guess i'll find out soon enough. Ahead of me are a few other student's standing beside the gates. Great. I thought i'd be the first one here, seeing how early and cold it is. Smirks, "Let's have alittle fun with them. heh..." Moves like a shadow in the wintery cold air. My outline blurred, my speed inhuman. Ducks into the forest to the side before i reach anyof them, and seen by anyone. Race's through the tree's like a ghost, and silent as one too. As it turns out, the gates run all the way around the grounds in a huge circle. Stops in my tracks, inches from it. Touches it lightly once. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. "Old magic has been placed upon this gate. Why? does this school hold somthing similar to my own powers? Or is this the work of just a supersitious person? Hmm. Reguardless, with this here...it'll be hard for me to enter without them knowing. Best to get rid of this, and replace it with my own." Lightly touches it once more. A swift wind whips around me for a moment, then all goes quiet all around. "Much better..." Climbs the gate, and hops down once im on the other side. Look's to my side, see's a girl walking up to the school. Feels her energy. Her blood. Huh. This girl...is she human? Hmm. I think i found my new friend, heh. Follows in the shadows.

Hana looked around, suddenly feeling as though eyes were watching her. Perhaps it was just paranoia? She wasn't used to being around people, so of course she would think that there were eyes watching, her, right? She pushed away the feeling, continuing on. She then saw a flowerbed off to the side, a single one of it's plants looking rather neglected. Hana could only give a sorrowful look, feeling pity and sadness for the plant. That's when an idea occurred to her innocent and simplistic mind. Of course! She trotted up to the flowerbed, giving a small yet cheery smile. Cupping her hand around the fragile plant, she closed her eyes, the air around her seeming to squirm and float a little higher, her hair undulating in it. She looked as though she seemed to be pulling energy from her core, focusing it at the palms of her hands that faced the plant. As she opened her eyes, glowing a bright and vivid peachish-pink now, the plant between her hands sprung to life, the color returning rapidly from root to its leaves to bud until it spun and burst into a large blooming flower. It reached high into the air, seeming to have a new found radiance. The air around her died down, her hair resting gently onto her back once more, her eye's sudden glow fading back into its earthy brown. Her cheeks flushed, as though she was filled with new energy herself. Her smile grew into one of content and peacefulness, resting her chin on her hand and giving a light giggle. "All better, little one." she whispered to the plant in what seemed like a motherly tone.
She was indeed a nymph, one who was meant to care and give back to the earth what it took. Her father having been a sprite, her mother a nymph. She always had taken after her mother, taken her brown eyes, even her peach colored aura when caring for the nature around. She could only beam in happiness, always feeling exuberant after healing and caring for the earth.

"That's quite the ability..." My tone light and amazed. Standing in the shadows, my hand resting on the tree to my left. My eyes are a shining, sky-colored blue for a moment, then shift to a hazel gold color. "Hi. You weren't wrong when you thought somebody was watching you. Sorry..." Look's down. Afraid to get any closer. Running up to the school took more outof my then i thought. My Thirst was getting bad. "Sorry," Look's up to her again. Pokes my head, "..for reading your thought's. When im around people - I pick up on how they're feeling, and stuff. I have a few ability's myself too..."

Practically jumping, Hana's head spun to meet the gaze of the young Vampire."M-My mind? Y-You read my mind?" she asked in shock, unsure of what to do now that this boy had suddenly approached her. What could she do? She wasn't used to speaking to people, let alone having people read her thoughts no less. She then noticed he had commented on her abilities to heal plants, and she looked back at the flower she just healed."Oh...y-yes... I'm a Nymph. Its... its my job." she stated, fiddling with her hands warily.

A genuine smile comes over my face. "That's cool. And no, it's not like i can read everything in your mind. Just bit's and piece's, but a majority of what i pick up is how people feel, or what they're thinking while they're in that mood. Which is another reason im not getting closer, your...scared?" The look on my face now, was a truly, innocent, confused look.

Plus being around all those people would really make me thirsty," See's the shocked look on your face, "Ah- Not that im thirsty right now. No. Beside's, i only need alittle blood. I can eat regular food too, well so far at least, heh..." Blinks twice, "Huh. I didn't even ask your name," Does a tiny bow, "Im sorry. And what might your name be?"

She looked up at the Vampire, blinking for a few moments, processing what he had just said in her mind. She then looked away, her face flushing a little."M-My name is Hana... it means flower... m-my mom, she named me that...c-cause I'm a nymph and all." she explained, fiddling with a lock of hair as she twisted it around her finger, then let it go, and repeated this several times out of nervousness and her shyness. "U-Um... wh-what about you? What's... what's your name?" she asked, looking back at him with her carefully wary yet innocent brown eyes.

Does another bow, "My name is Shawn." Stands back up. Takes a few steps forward, bends down. "I may not be a nymph, but i think a part of what i am is one with the forest," Very lightly touches the flower with one finger. The flower slowly changes into that of a rose, then it's color changes to blue. First a light shade of blue, then a deeper, and darker blue.

Hana stared in shock, her eyes aglitter in amazement."H-How! How did you do that?" she exclaimed in surprise. She had never seen anyone but forest creature such as nymphs, sprites, and faeries able to manipulate flora. She was now extremely curious, wondering how he had changed the measly little flower into such a gorgeous and rare blue rose.

  In a soft voice, "Im just gifted i suppose," Plucks the blue rose. "Here you go," Hands it to her. Suprisingly, there are no thorns on it. "Keep it close and it wont whither and die," Without her knowing, flicks my fingers behind my back, "Im sure there's probably a clear, blue vase in your room that matches this flower..." Stands up. "I hope we can meet later," And with a smile, walks toward the school. The bell rings at that moment.

 My phone vibrates in my pocket, picks it up, and listens, "Are you at the school?" My mother ask's."Ya..""Do you know your schedule and where your going?""Yup""Are you ok?" Her voice turned to worry."Mom, i've only been here for 2 minutes. Not enough time for any rouge Vampires to attack me like at the last school, k? Im gonna go find my room, talk later, k?""Alright, be safe..""K.." Shuts the phone off.
Walks over to the shadow of the school. Looks up and see's a window facing the forest behind me. "That one should do nicely," Disapears like a shadow. Instantly in the room i was below just a moment ago. Throws my bags on the floor, and jumps onto my bed. "Time to go to bed i suppose. Tommorow i guess i'll go explore Ria High...[Spazz edit; Did you delete my edit? Please don't in the future. It's how warnings are tracked. Also, write in third person, not first, and use complete sentences and past tense. Ex: "He threw his bags on the floor and jumped onto his bed." Finally, always capitalize your I's.
