Kaori beamed at him,
"Well, I'll have to show you to our home later, right now I just got back from a mission and was promoted, I need to get a lot of training in, as does Nova, would you like to stay with us?"She asked with a sweet smile, one only h=Nova and her parents had seen before this. "You're more than welcome to, though I think you need to get your headband, correct? Lady Ayame left a clone in her office to deal with that sort of thing I believe." She would prefer to keep her newly known about baby brother near her though, until his scent was firmly etched into their memory, and he started to smell more like home and family.

Kaori nodded as Nova padded over to their usual training spot and used her tail and paws to clear a spot for them to put the scrolls down, Kaori followed, though she kept a close eye on her brother, and that would not stop amazing her any time soon.
"I had planned on working on my jutsu, since Knives isn't here. He was helping me before the last mission I was sent on."She explained as she unpacked the four scrolls she had with her. A scroll for the Kihakugan, which she'd let Kohaku look at, despite not being able to use them, knowing how they worked could potentially save his life, or make him invaluable by her side; a scroll for Doton, another for Fuuton and a final one for Katon for Nova. "That first scroll is on the Kihaugan, the Raigyo Dojutsu, if you'd like to learn about it, though I know you can't actually use the jutsu itself, knowledge is power."Nova looked at the Katon scrol Kaori had opened for her and started reading, she wanted to get a lot of training in.

His mother told him the elements of the Satetsu, and Doton was one of them. He grabbed it carefully and opened it, looking at the various techniques inside. "What are you going to start with? Who's Knives?" The boy questioned curiously, reading the contents of the scroll carefully. blushed at the question about Knives, while Nova all but howled, since her vocal chords couldn't produce that type of sound, at the question,
"He's a Jounin of the village, and he helped me learn up to stage four of the taijutsu style Sazanami, since I wasn't high enough rank to learn stage five at the time."She mumbled shyly. Nova smirked as much as her face would allow, "He's sweet on her. And she likes him, though she won't admit it."Kaori flushed and hid her face in the Fuuton scroll,"Nova!"She hissed as she tried to will her blush away. Curse her fair skin, not only did she burn effortlessly here in the desert, but her blushes were noticeable in the dark from a mile away. She moved to look over the Doton scroll over Kohaku's shoulder,"I have seven on there I'd like to learn, if you want to work together on Doton. That is one of your affinities right?"

"These are Satetsu techniques that my mother gave me, just in case I needed them." The boy said with a nod. Kaori smiled slightly and nodded,
"You can work on some of your techniques, while I work on mine."She said thoughtfully as she looked at the scroll, "And while you two are bonding or what have you, I'll work on my Katon."Nova put in her two cents before she took the scroll she needed and moved a little bit away from the siblings.Kaori nodded and read through the Satetsu scroll for a moment, then handed it, carefully, back to Kohaku and picked up the Doton scroll once more. She stepped back from Kohaku and focused her chakra and closed her eyes to better concentrate. She molded her chakra as she thought she'd need it, and made several lengthy hand signs. The ground slowly rolled, but only a small little lift, about a foot high, materialized. [1/2]
Kaori shook her head and brushed her hair from her face before she closed her eyes once more and focused more chakra, and focused more of her will power into the formation of the seals and the mental image of a steep hill, at least ten feet high. She finished the final seal and looked down, only to smile when she saw that Kohaku was ten feet below her, and she was standing on the peak of a hill made of sand and earth. She knew this would absorb water like a sponge if she ever encountered water users. [2/2]

He tilted his head, wondering how it'd be of much use before she seemed to focus harder, trying again. He gasped as she suddenly created a large hill, rising up with it. She looked down at him and the boy frowned slightly. Wanting to prove he could learn techniques as well, he read off of the scroll.
In the scroll was a technique that proved useful, if a bit dangerous. There was a few large rocks nearby, so he could train with this one. Kohaku formed a hand seal and a cloud of smoke appeared, replacing the boy's body with the boulder. Taking a Kunai, Kohaku threw it at the boulder and winced as it exploded. Luckily nobody was nearby to take damage. [Bakuyaku Iwa Kawarimi [ Explosive Stone Body Replacement ] 1/1 learned!]
Moving through the scroll, Kohaku turned towards the wall and confirmed his footing. He looked down at the scroll and gathered chakra into his right foot. When he had gathered enough chakra, Kohaku stomped on the ground, facing the wall and caused the ground to change into a row of spears, penetrating the wall before him. Stomping down again, a spear shot straight up beside him and he broke it off, feeling its weight. [Ishi no yari [ Stone Spear ] 1/1 learned!]
Currently, only one other technique in the scroll interested the young Raigyo. He formed a solitary hand seal and sunk into the earth. There was a nearby training dummy that this jutsu would be perfect for. He approached the dummy and grabbed it's support beam, dragging it down to the neck before he rose out of the ground and grinned happily, looking at the dummy sunk down to it's neck. Theodin sat and meditated on the first element, fire. He visualized the quick, burting movements, striking before he’d finish the thought. He pictured himself moving constant, never ceasing to circle his enemy before bursting in at them to crush them with a quick barrage of strikes. He felt the heat of the fire in his mind until he had to stand and practice the applications. (1/2) Standing, Theodin imagined an enemy in front of him, and began circling quickly. Visualizing an enemy attacking, he parried the strike with and elbow and danced around the attack. Once behind his imaginary enemy, he burst into the center of the circle with a few quick punches. (2/2) Fire: Bursting [Hou: Pao] Learned!
Theodin made a shadow clone quickly, then stood in meditation, thinking about earth. Earth was solid, stable, strong, yet still active. He wanted to apply this mentality to his taijutsu. (1/2) Theodin opened his eyes and nodded to his clone, which came in to attack him. The original planted his feet as he parried the strike, coming back to strike the clone with both his fists, knocking it back a few feet. When the clone attacked again, the original shifted his feet and deflected the attack straight into the ground. (2/2) Earth: Crossing [Tu: Heng] Learned!
Theodin stiled himself and thought about metal. It was sharp, decisive, hard, like his swords. He needed to add these properties to his punches and kicks. (1/2) Theodin had the clone attack him again, he blocked hard, to the point that his arm was stinging slightly. He then went on the offensive, each strike knocking the clone back slightly. Finally he brought a round kick down on the clones thigh and the leg bent sideways before the clone poofed away. (2/2) Metal: Splitting [Jin: Pi] Learned!
Theodin decided to combine the last two elements, water and wood. Water was soft, formless, flowing, but could still crash and destroy things. Wood was all about smothering and balance, the greater the branches, the wider and deeper the roots. He wanted to apply these to his technique. (1/2)(1/2) Creating 2 more clones, Theodin had one attack. He rode the attack in slightly, flowing withit, then came back with a palm that caused a strange ripple in the clone’s chest before it dispersed. Next the other clone attacked, and theodin quickly moved inside and hit the inside nerves of the clones arm, then traced the arm back to the torso with rapid-fire punches. (2/2)(2/2) Water: Drillng [Shui: Zuan] Learned! Wood: Smothering [Mu: Beng] Learned!
Taking a small break from taijutsu, Theodin walked over to say hi to Kaori, “Hey Kaori…nice hill…just figured I mention if you want any help whenever you get to practicing fuuton jutsu, let me know.” After a few seconds, he noticed the small kid reading the doton scroll, he looked back at Kaori, “Who’s the kid? You and Knives have a cub already?” He couldn’t help but mess with her a bit, chuckling slightly.

Kaori flushed bright red and flailed a little,
"What?! No! I-No! This is Kohaku. He is my brother, through our father."She half mumbled, half yelped in embarrassment. Knives had barely said a word to her about a relationship, though she'd be blind not to notice the flirting, and Kohaku was around twelve, that was far to old for him to be her cub. She was about to say all this when she realized he was aware of that, and had only been teasing her, "Meanine."She mumbled as she pouted. Where was Knives when she needed him?

He didn't understand half of what was going on but his sister seemed to be embarrassed and flustered, causing her to be bright red and call the stranger a meanie. Confused, Kohaku watched the pair talk with each other. He didn't say anything and fidgeted with his fingers while he watched. Kaori shook her head at Theodin and then smiled at Kohaku,
“Sorry, this is Theodin, he and I have worked on a couple missions together. Theodin, this is Kohaku Raigyo, my little brother, though we share different mothers. He has the Satetsu bloodline.” She explained to Theodin with a slight shrug, She might not know much about said bloodline, but she was proud of him all the same, knowing he could do great things if he applied himself properly, and she and Nova would help all they could. She moved back away from them for a moment and shook her head, “I have a little more training to do, be right back.”Kaori thought back to the Doton scroll and concentrated her chakra. She then knelt and put her hands to the ground and sent the chakra out into the earth in pulses. It raced through the earth and targeted Theodin, just to mess with him for picking on her but it didn’t do anything. [1/2]
Kaori frowned and sat back, went over the instructions in her mind once more, then forced her chakra to pulse through the earth once more, and this time it hit Theodin perfectly, and did it’s job. Her fellow shinobi would find it hard to mold his chakra correctly for a few minutes, in battle that would be invaluable, now it would just annoy him. [2/2]
Kaori released her previous jutsu and then focused her chakra once more, this time she focused on Nova, since she knew that the tiger could use a little surprise, she hit the ground hard, the blow infused with her chakra, and frowned when all it did was cause the ground to trmeble, not what she was going for. [1/2] She shook her head and tried again, this time when she hit the ground it overturned itself and wrapped around Nova, like a sphere or dome, and Kaori put her hands on it, she could feel Nova scratching at the dome, but she used her own chakra to repair the damage on the inside. She released the jutsu and stuck her tongue out at the glaring Nova. [2/2]
Kaori hummed softly as she looked at the ground and contemplated her next jutsu. She carefully formed the hand signs and focused her chakra into the ground. The ground shook and turned a little sludgy, but not the results she was hoping for. [1/2] She closed her eyes and focused more chakra into the ground and opened her eyes just in time to see the ground around several training dummies shift to rushing mud. She smiled. [2/2]
She glanced at the Doton scroll after she pulled it from it’s protective pouch on her hip, she nodded to herself and turned to the river of mud she’d just created. Kaori made several hand signs and watched as s tiny dragon formed from the mud, but before it could do anything it collapsed back to it’s base ingredients. [1/2] She huffed and did the signs again, paying more attention to them this time, and watched as the dragon formed once more, this time it was massive, and it spewed forth several mud projectiles at the training dummies. [2/2]
Kaori released the dragon back to the mud and then turned her attention to the last Doton she wanted to learn for now. She focused her chakra through her feet and into the ground, it raced through the ground and loosened the earth right under the dummies standing a ways in front of her, but they didn’t sink like she wanted.[1/2] She pushed more chakra into the jutsu and watched as the dummies sank out of sight below the ground. She felt, through her chakra, the dummies get crushed from the pressure of the earth around them and smirked. [2/2]

Theodin couldn't help but bust out laughing at Kaori's reaction, the look on her face was just priceless. When she introduced him to her little brother, Theo turned and kneeled down "A Satetsu, eh? Too bad San hasn't been around for a while, he'd be able get you trained up real quick. Your elements must be doton and raiton, then, so feel free to ask if you have any questions about raiton ninjutsu, it's one of my favorite elements to use." Suddenly he felt a strange sensation come over him and looked over at Kaori training...."Easy there, Kay-chan, chill out." As he finished talking, he pointed his palm at Kaori and fired a ice blast her way as soon as the weird feeling disappeared. "Anyway, I should get back to my taijutsu training." he said chuckling.

Getting back to his part of the training area, Theodin scanned through the next stage of techniques in this style. They all seemed pretty simple, so he poofed up a couple shadow clones to help him train. One clone attacked him with a round kick, as Theodin bent one arm up and the other down, like a pair of birds wings, turning to parry it away, following quickly by a double-level jumping front kick. When the next clone attacked, Theodin hollowed out to avoid a punch, swatting the attack to the side as he moved back I to drill the clone in the stomach with a hard punch of his own. (1/3) Resetting, the first clone attacked with another round kick as Theodin scooted back out the of way to let it go by, then launched in with a double front kick, followed by a punch to the clone’s chest. As the second clone attacked, Theodin spanned his arms again to parry the strike, turning completely around to hit the clone in the back of the head with a backfist. (2/3) The jounin felt like her almost had it down, and told the clones to attack again. This time the first clone attacked twice, theodin parrying the first, then hollowing out to avoid the second, before moving in to drill the clone with a punch to the gut. He noticed the other clone coming from his side and turned quickly, intercepting the clone’s attack with two quick front kicks. (3/3) Coiled Snake Learned! Coiled Snake Learned! Bear Withdrawing, Shocking, then Following Learned! Phoenix Spanning and Turning Learned! Hsing-I Pakua Stage 2, all techniques learned.
Feeling like he had this stage down, Theodin walked over to the scroll to read over the next stage of techniques.
