Sangre blinked and then managed a wry smile.
"I'm speaking to you telepathically," she replied simply. "I wasn't able to do it before because you were only half, but now that you're a pure-blooded supernatural creature, I'm able to establish a link with you."
I guess all that bloodshed was worth it after all, huh?
Sangre closed the connection with Travis long enough to snap,
Shut your ******** face, dammit!
Then she connected with Travis again, holding the image of his face in her mind.
"Now please, tell me where you are. what does your surroundings look like?"

Yuzuki slumped a little, half relieved to find out Travis was still alive. She half tuned an ear to their conversation.

All I can tell is that I'm tied to a bed or something because of this blindfold... wait, you're in the base!?

Sangre rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm in the base. Don't remind me. You are SO buying my bail when I get arrested after this!"
She motioned to Yuzuki.
"Time to move, darling," she stated simply. "I'll go first."
Using her powerful hands and arms, she pulled the grate out of its place and slipped down into the room, ducking underneath a table and hiding in the shadows, looking around.

Yuzuki followed, trying to stay as incognito as Sangre.

Other than the table and a door, the room was completely empty, not even any cameras.

"That's weird..." she breathed to Yuzuki mentally. "Going from high security to none... what is it about this room that makes them think it doesn't have to be guarded?"

Yuzuki glanced around. "Maybe they never thought anyone would get this far?" She suggested a little warily.

Sangre sniffed.
All scents are very faint here. She thought to herself. This room was abandoned. But why?
"Stay here," she breathed to Yuzuki.
Slowly, still in a crouch, she made her way out of the table and looked around.

Sangre, looking around cautiously, set her feet underneath her and slowly stood.
This room was abandoned. She repeated to herself. In the middle of the base. Why? It makes no sense.
There was a nagging feeling at the corner of her mind. She was missing something.

Yuzuki looked a little frightened. "It might be a trap, Sange!" She whispered harshly due to her feeling of slight paranoia.
