((wow... I guess I should apologize for going overboard on the dreams. I was kind of hyped-up on Koontz fiction... I realize it might be just a tad too much. Should I tone it down?))

Beans found himself driving towards the forensic laboratories, ready to collect some evidence. The bizarre dream still puzzled him, but he had nothing to go on but hazy details.
What had been so special about that third figure...?

Forty minutes later, Beans was driving towards the police station. He had some interesting data to share.
((Angel was in a public hospital for the snake bite, right? Since the Asian girl was in the same hospital, and Rose was visiting, it couldn't have been Mafia....))

Anthony chuckled. "I don't know what will happen to me now that I let you know about everything. I suppose my being a detective will let me live seeing as I am needed" he said, then sighed.

Beans pulled into the parking lot, then walked up the steps and into the office. The chief was who he was looking for.

Bubba had kept the eyepatch. Even though he now had a super-eye, so to speak, he needed to hide it in most instances to avoid regular suspicion. He decided that he would go out and buy a nice pair of shades, that day.

Jasmine woke up refreshed and ready to move. Another day, another ten bodies or so. Then she remembered the hostage. Alfone was currently hanging upside down, still tied to the chair, and it being the only thing keeping him off the floor as it was wedged between the refrigerator and the wall.
Jasmine chuckled, then smiled before speaking in her soft, warm voice. "Sleep well, dear? I have to go to the market today, so I won't be home until around lunch time. Have a good day, honey."
Then with a peck on his cheek, she left, leaving a completely confused and utterly confounded Alfone staring at the ground, eyes filled with tears.
