((I've had connection errors which has been my reason for inactivity in this guild))
Mr White had not really cared to engage one of the leader of the lycans. The threat was far to big and not to mention that her pack was far to big at this point. A simple howl and he would have been overrun by lycans. He may be a hunter but he was not a maniac nor suicidal. Yet in time he would probably end up in a fight with this female if both where alive in the end. As she leaved the place there was indeed not much to do. The hunters where loosing grounds that was certain as lycans roared free in the very docks. The open ground for hunters. If his master would only come back it would do every thing much better. Yet now it was time in search of the hunter leaders. What else could one do.

Domino found herself in a foggy place, the air filled with the thick smell of salt-water, and of course, blood. There had been many recent fight about the place, all of which she had missed. "Well, damn. I never was great with my timing." She made her way the very end of some random dock. Crouching on the edge of the moist wood, she let one of her legs hang over the edge and sat there looking out over the black water. The stars weren't shining in the foresaken city, and the moon was covered by clouds, making all the darker and seemingly more devoid of life. But life is just what she was waiting for. A life worth taking...

For a while, Domino merely sat there, her eyes closed. Her eyebrows began to knit togeather slightly, as if she were concentrating on something far, far away. The next moment, any on-looker would swear she had disappeared altogeather. She was running. Fast, even for her kind. Feeling her lungs begin to burn, she told herself, 'No, I can feel trouble in Haven. There'll be time to get tired after this. But for now...'

The job was done, the hit on the group of humans was completed and Aiden had no real reason for staying in New York. There was the option of staying in the city and becoming a resident of the city, receiving contracts within the city. It had been years since the lycanthrope remained as a resident, but there was some that attracted him. Maybe it was the idea of the relationship between the races.
Where ever his future may rest, the decision had to be made soon because the assassin could not reaming absent from central for long. So Aiden decided to take a walk.
He had made his way from the city, through the tops of the buildings, all the way to the docks. To the place where he arrived. So the man was walking along the sidewalk, parallel to the entrances to the docks. He was wearing the same raven black apparel, topped with his black trench coat. He was also carrying a maroon colored rectangular case. He was holding the case by its handle, and in swung minimally as he walked.
Aiden could see the various tankers resting tied on the numerous docks. The boats where all massive in size and it was obvious that they carried a various importable and exportable goods. The city looked beautiful, the man loved the water. He loved the view of the ocean and the beautiful reflection of the stars upon the surface of the water.

Sibyl calmly and silently stalked across the docks in her human form, her small duffel bag that smelled of smoked hide hanging over her shoulder. Inside it was the towel from Jaden's apartment amongst a few other little knick nacks and tools that she could use if it was required of her to use them. However, right now she wasn't here to do anything but swim in the calmness and darkness of the evening, undisturbed, unhindered for there was no one present to stop her at the moment.
Though it wasn't exactly desirable, the humans knowing about the existence of the lycans, vampires and tainted had made the city a much quieter place and she wasn't worrying so much about the rest of her pack getting into fights. Instead, she had to worry about them exposing themselves but for the most part it seemed that they were able to fly under the radar minus Ceon, whom she would have to speak with another time. Then again she'd lost her authority as Beta when she'd abandoned her pack when they'd most needed her so it wasn't actually her place to speak to Ceon of such things. She intended to anyhow, though.
Right now, though, she was simply going to enjoy a nice, relaxing swim. Well, she had been planning to do so until she realized that not only was New York's sky a vast sea of smog but their waters were also horribly murky and polluted. Instantly Sibyl's nose cringed and she felt disgusted at the destruction that the humans in this place were capable of. It was absolutely enraging and made her think less of them for certain but not only the humans were at fault.
Instead of swimming in the water, the wolf decided to situate herself at the edge of one of the docks, dangling her legs over the side and looking out far into the ocean, almost longingly. She couldn't help but wonder what this site had been like before people had populated and destroyed such a beautiful place. And just as she was about to become lost in her pool of thoughts a presence, or rather, a scent distracted her from her thoughts and she looked over her shoulder to see a man browsing about the place looking out onto the ocean as she had been.
Sibyl studied the scent and processed that he was a lycan. One she definitely had never seen before and one she wasn't certain if he was apart of the pack or not. "I don't believe I've seen you around before," she greeted from her seated position. "May I inquire as to what your name is? I'm not a human so you've no need to be concerned."

Aiden was walking aimlessly, almost lost in thought - almost because he is always very aware of his surroundings- at the farthest edge of the docks. He was pondering what to do with his future, and he was going over what had happened a few nights ago. About the encounter with the human and the vampire.
He had been at peace with his surroundings as he moved, knowing that there was only one human around. The human as a security guard that had fallen asleep inside a small wooden cabin. The lycanthrope insinuated that the guard was supposed to keep an eye on the whole area of the docks, but due to the late hour he had fallen unknowingly fallen asleep.
But then something else perturbed the peace. There was another presence that emerged into the docks, and it was not a human scent. Aiden quickly kicked off to the side and hid on the shadows created by one of the massive cranes. His form was hidden in darkness, and he waited there as a woman appeared.
Aiden's honey colored hues quickly glued themselves to the woman's figure. He stared at her as she moved towards the water and sat on the docks. It did not take her long to notice his presence, but she was very close to him. So close that he could smell the lycan in her.
He suddenly heard that the woman spoke, and she must have been speaking to him because there was no one else around. He silently listened to the woman, then he slowly stepped out of the shadows. "You are a lycan?" He asked softly, and he stopped moving forward.

Sibyl shrugged. "For lack of a better definition, I suppose you could call me a lycan though I'm not quite the same as a typical lycan. What do your senses tell you? They're probably the most accurate about what I am to you. But either way I'm a party that has no interest in harming immortals and I'm with the lycan pack of New York. I left my old pack to come here."
The wolf then stretched as she sat at the edge of the dock and turned to look over her shoulder at the lycan behind her. Her lavender eyes fell to the case he was carrying and they glistened with curiousity. "What is that for? I trust you aren't a buisness man of any sort so perhaps you are an assassin? Hm. Or perhaps you are delivering money? No ... I don't think there's money in there ..."
She then paused as if she'd forgotten something and then closed her eyes and shook her head silently. "Silly me. Forgive my manners. I'm ... still not all that accustomed to human society so I'm not very socialized. Names, right. My name's Sibyl Black."

Aiden remained still as he stood well behind the woman. His honey colored eyes still glued tot eh woman, moving through her profile. The woman was quite attractive, specially with those powerful eyes.
The man listened carefully to what the woman said, since it was already a habit to pay very close attention to every word uttered towards him. So the woman was of the local coven, and she was a special breed of lycanthrope. She also looked like a curious sort and from the looks of the bag, she liked to be prepared. And the woman was interested with his suitcase, that was obviously too large to hold mere paper.
So Aiden moved across the concrete dock, until he reached to woman's side. He quickly and silently moved and sat next to the woman, leaving a reasonable distance between his side and hers. The lycanthrope then placed the briefcase that he had been carrying on his lap. He quickly snapped open the locks.
"You are correct, I am an assassin." He replied softly as he gently opened the lid to the case. Inside was his large rifle, but it was in pieces that snugly fit in the case. Then he heard the woman's name, and he smiled as he turned to face her. "I am Aiden." He replied

Sibyl didn't particularly care for the man staring at her but since he confirmed that he was an assassin it made sense that he was inspecting her and probably logging her appearance away in his files for later use if they crossed eachother's paths in the future. However, that didn't change the fact that she didn't like being stared at so while he had his eyes glued to her she simply looked out at the ocean again and decided to not make an issue of it.
When the assassin came to sit beside her Sibyl made no move to distance herself from him nor get closer to him, she seemed to accept his presence there beside her easily enough. She was trusting until she was given a reason not to trust and her instinct told her that this guy was alright to trust. Of course, she wasn't certain how loyal assassins were since they were often more for themselves than anyone else but she wasn't having to rely on him for anything so she figured she could trust him and that she wasn't a target of his although her picture was posted amongst the streets as were other elders'.
Upon the briefcase opening her lavender eyes discreetly moved to the briefcase to inspect it briefly and her eyes then returned to the ocean once again. She leaned backwards, into her hands since they were behind her supporting her weight as her stomach rose and fell with her quick, near silent breaths. She wore no coat for she was quite warm, warm to a human as a vampire was cold to one so whatever snow neared her instantly melted upon contacting her flesh.
"It's nice to meet you, I suppose. I take it you are not from around here. What brings you to New York? I'm going to guess you were hired to make a hit here." She turned to look at him, though not directly in the eyes. She purposely avoided eye contact with him as she did everyone.

Aiden was beginning to enjoy the woman's company. It had been some time since he had been with company, at least with someone that did not want anything from him. It felt rather nice, specially the girl's cold yet friendly demeanor. After he saw the woman's lavender eyes glance his rifle, he silently closed the lid to the suitcase once again. Aiden locked the case and moved it to his side. The lycan placed the briefcase beside him, touching his body, and then moved his hands back to his thighs.
Then Aiden listened to the girl speaking to him once again. She had guessed right once again, he was in New York for a contract. He did not want to doubt the woman, but she seemed to be guessing right far too accurately. "You guessed right, once again." He replied with a a hint of playfulness in his tone.

Sibyl had simply luckily guessed that he was an assassin and as for him not belonging to New York she'd just had a hunch about that and the contract had been using deductive reasoning. She didn't have a reason trust this stranger and likewise he didn't have a reason to trust her so she didn't expect him to. "I'm on a roll, I suppose. Maybe I should guess something else. So did you finish your ... job or are you lingering around here waiting for someone here or something? Perhaps meeting a source?"
The girl then stretched again and laid down on the dock, staring up into the stars seeing as she didn't have anything else better to do and the sky was just as pretty as the water. The one thing the humans hopefully wouldn't be able to destroy was the sky, what was beyond them, what was out of reach. "I hope that the humans aren't able to find a way to destroy the beauty of the stars and the sky as they have so much else on this earth. I can almost hear the earth weeping and there's little I can do to help it ..."

Aiden could not help but smile once again with Sybil as she took lightly his comment. He listened to the woman's guesses, still with a slight smile on his lips. But this time, she was not trying to guess completely. Sybil asked him what he was doing on the docks, and the truth was that he was just passing the time. He pondered for a second.
The second that he was silent, Sybil leaned back. Aiden grinned, the woman took the idea from the top of his head because he was just about to do the same thing. He did not care that the woman had beat him to it, so he gently leaned back. The lycanthrope moved his hands and placed them behind his head. He preferred to rest his head against his hands. "I am here just thinking." He whispered as his honey colored eyes gazed at the beautiful stars.
Then the woman spoke again. "How poetic." He replied softly. "Nature has a way to defend itself, even from humans. We just have to outlive them so that we can see true beauty." He added, almost like in a dream or vision.

"Hm ... some would say this is an odd place to try and gather your thoughts but I suppose it is fairly quiet here and peaceful. Not to mention the water is there and water helps me to focus, it keeps my mind sharpened because I have to make sure it does not claim me. It is said that if you allow the water to touch you without expecting it and allowing it to that it will find you again one day and attempt to claim your soul. That is why you cannot turn your back to the tides for they are always waiting for unsuspecting souls."
She was telling part of the superstitions of her own pack, unique from lycans since they had a history and they had their stories which were passed down from one generation to the next. Sibyl had always enjoyed the stories and she loved listening to them. Many cubs had grown tired of the elders stories but she'd always listened with interest.
"Hm ... More truth than poetry though poems can speak of truths I suppose. Nature will one day strike back to defend itself, of that I'm certain. It has, according to stories of the past so I'm certain it will act again if it is driven to do so. And yes, I plan to outlive a few generations of humans but eventually my time here will run out as well. Not all of us can live forever now can we? I wonder what it was like long ago, though, before everyone knew of such technology and such ways to harm nature and things living."
Sibyl's head, unlike Aiden's, rested on the dock, her auburn hair splayed across the dock, her hands resting on her stomach. Her legs were still dangling over the dock as she looked up into the sky and she squirmed slightly to shift into a more comfortable position though she still remained on her back staring up at the sky.

Aiden continued to gaze into the vast gray that replaced the pitch black sky that he had seen growing up. The sky had been brightened with the overflowing sea of light from the city, it was a miracle if a patch of darkness was found untouched. His honey colored eyes wandered aimlessly through the night sky, while his ears listened to what Sybil was talking about.
He was not a believer of folklore or mythology. He had lost faith in all of that from a very young age. He had seen his father beaten in front of him, to the verge of death, and shortly after that he had unwillingly been drafted into the armed forces.
After a while, the assassin stopped listening so carefully to the lycanthrope female beside him. He had lost himself within his own thoughts, he needed to make an important decision after all. Sybil stopped talking shortly after, and Aiden waited a moment before opening his mouth.
"Why did you decide to stay in New York?" Aiden asked softly.

"I chose to come to," Sibyl explained, her own voice always being soft and serene when she spoke, "New York so there in lies the most likely reason I decided to stay. Of course the smog is not very pleasant nor the horrid condition of the waters here but those are not the aspects that make this place home. I came here to assist the lycan pack in New York to police vampires and to help them out and learn more about them. I also came here because I left the pack I was born to so I really didn't have anywhere else to go so when I caught word of the rumours of a lycan pack here I decided to investigate and now I call New York, so long as my pack is here, home."
"Are you," Sibyl asked out of curiousity, "remaining in New York or do you not have any roots here that give you reason to linger here? Perhaps you are one of those restless souls that travel all over the world and don't have a true home? I trust your assignments are not limited to New York since you came here specifically for a target so you likely won't be staying. However, if you need a place to stay in the meantime or if ever you're in New York then you're always welcome to my apartment."
