'Yes, I'm sure, love. I want to give him a chance because I hate being so judgemental. If he's willing to swear it then I will honour his word. If he breaks it then I'll more than break him since I've got a lot of pent up anger and hurt over being betrayed when I've given others chances. If he can swear to it then I am satisfied, love. I'll stick with him for a bit to ensure that he's not going to go on some mad killing spree and I'll get him some blood packets back at haven since he seems to be hungry.'

Tokeru nodded his head. He walked over to the vampire. "You will be given the oath upon entering Haven."
He walked past him, and with a sudden movement, sent his arm towards the vampire's head, with just enough force to knock him out.

Tokeru looked towards Amnity and Mephlius. "You two, bring him to Haven and stick him in the infirmary. I'd like to have a moment alone with my fiance."

Amnity hid her displeasure well. "Yes sir, right away sir." she replied like a soldier would. She walked over to Kuro's side and hitched his arm over her shoulders and held a firm grip on his waist. She shot a look toward Mephlius, actually, a glare. "Lead the way.." she said through gritted teeth.

Rogue cocked a gun she held. She had been using a good deal of her mental strength to remain undetected by the group....She shot a specialized sniper rifle at Tokeru, aiming at his heart.

Mephlius met her glare with a questioning look. They both carried him to the Haven Infirmary.

Eden merely faded to the background, not something she normally did but for now she decided to allow Tokeru to take charge of things. After all, she wasn't truly a leader so she didn't actually have authority over the hunters and all that. However, she decided that she'd step up for now to help Tokeru out and serve in both of her absent brothers' places. She missed them a lot and hoped to find a Tainted that could help them out soon because she really wanted her brothers back. Haven just wasn't haven without them, their smiles, their laughs, their good qualities, their bad ones. She missed everything about them that annoyed her and everything about them that didn't annoy her. She just wanted her brothers back safe and sound and to this she vowed. "Hey Angel," she said with a smile as she came up to him to give him a kiss, "what are you needing me for?"

Tokeru kissed her back gently, and sat down, pulling her down after him. He dropped his aura, and reverted back to his other way of speech. Forcing his body to re-unite his mind temporarily was always a great strain.
He looked her in the eyes, and sighed. I hate this. I really, really do. I hate being a hunter, I hate killing people. I hate it all. I just wanna run and leave everyone behind, but you'd never leave, which is the only reason I'm staying. I hate being known as the cold, merciless killer. But it's needed. The humans need to be protected, and of course, it's up to us hunters to do so. Why? Why do we need to protect these people?

Meredith kept her angel in a small embrace and when he began talking to her about hating his job she only squeezed him tighter, making sure she wasn't squeezing hard enough to kill him or hurt him. She sighed softly too, closing her eyes in contentment, finally able to have a moment alone with her love. However, she also didn't like that he was troubled and tried to make him feel better. 'Why then, did you become a hunter in the first place, Angel? I agree that you shouldn't be a hunter, someone as perfect as you should be doing something else for the world. You've got so much more potential than this. Me, this has been my life. I've lived on the streets, I've been in gangs, I'm used to death and people dying. I'm used to killing those I have to. I cannot leave my brothers. I found my lost brother and gained a new one and though I hardly see them, our bond cannot be severed. I owe them both too much. We need to protect these people because even though most of them are a** holes, there are some good and innocent people out there that are worth saving. I'm willing to die for those kind of people since they cannot protect themselves.'

Tokeru was about to respond, when he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He looked down and placed his hand against it. It was wet. He raised his hand to his eyes. Blood? Why is there blood? Then all he knew, was that the world was going black.

Rogue smiled slightly as the bullet hit its mark. She had been stalking this hunter for a while. She was tired of him interfering in her affairs, as well as hunting her kind. Too many had fallen from his hands. He had been under constant watch by deathdealers for a short while, and she was in the area on this night.
She gave him a friendly enough hello, and disappeared into the night. He might figure it out eventually, but for now, he could deal with the pain he had caused her kind for some time.
